"Fugetaboutit is like if you agree with someone, you know, like Raquel Welch is one great piece of @$$, Fugetaboutit. But then, if you disagree, like A Lincoln is better than a Cadillac? Fugetaboutit! you know? But then, it's also like if something's the greatest thing in the world, like mingia those peppers, Fugetaboutit. But it's also like saying Go to hell! too. Like, you know, like "Hey Paulie, you got a one inch pecker?" and Paulie says "Fugetaboutit!" Sometimes it just means Fugetaboutit." - "Donnie Brasco," 1997 I had felt like a Vegetarian tonight (rare, I know) so I choose one of the specialty sandwich, dubbed "The Imposter," because it is veggie hiding beneath the pig skin. It has sun dried tomato & basil inside a Tofurky Italian sausage, with cracked pepper and Parmesan sauce. To a regular Meatatarian like myself, this is surprisingly savory and satisfying. If you think you can find a better taste elsewhere, Baguettaboutit! How you order a baguette is both simple and interesting, and each baguette cost $6.50 flat. You look through the menu, then you pick up a brown bag from the table, which is what they will use to bag your order, then you make your selection on the back of the bag; you put a check mark on one of the six regulars, or you pick the specialty feature, or if none entice you as much you can create your own by selection your own sausage and your own sauce. Easy Peasy. Baguettaboutit! P.S. This truck will start making regular appearance in front of Fullsteam on Tuesdays, beginning Feb-21. So stay tune!

I was definitely a fan of this food truck. We stumbled upon it during Downtown Cary's Pimento Cheese Festival. The line was super long and we knew we were in for a treat! They had two pimento cheese specials on their menus but my husband and I went with their buffalo chicken sausage baguette and added the pimento cheese. Let me tell you, it was one of the best things I've had in a while! The chicken sausage was juicy, flavorful, and so delicious. The baguette was warm and fresh and hit the spot. The pimento cheese really added a nice kick to the sandwich overall, but I wish they had packed it in a bit more into the sandwich as a lot of the cheese was just on top of the baguette oozing out. Overall, great service and staff and great sandwiches!

I tried this truck at a local food truck festival. I ordered the greek sausage sandwich. This sausage itself was very delicious as well as the sauce. The baguette was just ok. After having baguettes in France, I am picky about them. The bread was not as crisp as I would have liked. The sauce soaked into the bread and since it was taziki sauce it created an odd texture and flavor. I think I would order and Italian style sandwich next time.

This food truck is known for making sandwiches out of baguettes, instead of regular slices of bread. Each option is a long sausage inserted into a baguette, plus some type of special sauce. The NU Jersey Turpike consists of sweet Italian sausage and roasted red pepper sauce, $7.50, and it's one of the only non-spicy options available. The sandwich is smaller/shorter and thinner than I expected. It's not as wide as a typical Subway or banh mi sandwich, but it's very soft. It's not the most amazing invention, but it's not bad, just very simple.

Wow, what a neat, suggestive, almost obscene idea. A huge sausage in a foreskin of fresh French baguette. I had to hide in a private room to eat it, lest HR collar me for flagrant, suggestive behavior. It was discreetly delicious! But shame on Yelp, for refusing to let me check in on my mobile because "you're too far away to check in." Here's a picture, Yelp, check that in! I'm right at the food truck. (Clearly, Yelp needs to add an option to businesses to mark them as mobile, food truck eateries. Are you listening, Yelp?) ___________ I've bought their sandwiches 3x more at Centennial campus, and will sorely miss them when the last of Red Hatters move to Red Hat Tower in Raleigh ... away from Baguettaboutit. Waaaah. No check-ins for all the enjoyment I've had with these guys. Just. Not. Fair. They have a practice of giving you a card from a 52-card pack of playing cards. What will you get, what will you be? Queen of Hearts? Jack of Clubs? Ace of Diamonds? ;) If you get a chance, definitely patronize Baguettaboutit. And remind Yelp that food Trucks ARE REAL BUSINESSES.

I tried Baguettaboutit at the NC State Fair this year and loved it. Their menu is very simple and small, with only about 9 "sandwiches" - or baguettes with your choice of a sausage and sauce in the middle of it. I ordered the Nu Jersey Turnpike (sweet chicken sausage + roasted red pepper sauce) and the United Nations (chicken chipotle sausage + chimichurri sauce). The baguettes were very fresh, warm, and soft. With both sandwiches I got, I thought the sausages in the middle had a great balance of flavor with the sauce - the sausages were tasty but not overpowering, and the sauce had a ton of flavor. At the end of the sandwich after the sausage is done, you're left with a heavenly pocket of sauce in that warm baguette. This is arguably the best par, so don't waste it.

Had the Yu Talkin Tu Me at the Chatham Co AgFest in Pittsboro. Hot Italian sausage was good, the basil tomato vinaigrette was just OK, the delicious bread really made it. They had other interesting offerings on the menu. I'll try it again when I get the chance.

I definitely won't forget about this food truck. This was a very interesting sandwich because there was a lot of different flavor in one. I got the "u talking to me?" And it had like a sweet, sour, and spice taste in this sandwich. I think it was pretty unique. At first, I thought the sandwich was really long, but it wasn't that big so you can get it cut in half to share with someone too if you are not that hungry. Oh and be careful when you get this. The temperature is really hot so don't take a huge bite like me. Definitely try this food truck out!

This was my first time trying Amigo Papa after seeing an IG reel that hyped it up. I decided to…read moretreat myself to a birthday lunch and headed to the Miami Blvd location. I got there early and actually waited 45 minutes for them to open--only for them to open late. When I approached the counter, there was no greeting, no smile--just cold energy. It was obvious there was a language barrier, but instead of trying to help, both women behind the counter ignored me when I asked for a menu. They continued talking to each other like I wasn't even there for an additional 10-12 minutes. After the wait, the attendant eventually came outside to prop up their large floppy menu sign, but it fell down again. She saw it fall, rolled her eyes, and just went back inside the food truck. As someone who had never ordered from there before, I was really relying on that sign to decide what to get. When I mentioned it to her at the window, she refused to come back out and fix it--so I had to prop it up myself. The whole situation felt so unprofessional. Honestly, I should've taken that as my sign to leave and not spend my money there. Again, even after all that waiting, I had to wait an additional 10-12 minutes before they were ready to even take my order. I came specifically for the birria corn, which they advertised on their IG page for this location. The woman told me they didn't have any birria of any kind today. I also asked about the pineapple agua fresca--also unavailable. Mind you, three more groups of customers came after me asking for the birria too--and they were just as disappointed to hear it wasn't being served and it was another couple's first time visiting also. I even saw a man who appeared to work for them unpacking his car with food items to deliver to their truck, and he confidently told me, "Oh, they have everything." That was completely misleading and clearly not the case. I was literally the first person in line, and I still ended up waiting over 35 minutes for my food--with no crowd. On top of that, I was being stared at like I was a problem. It made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I left feeling completely disappointed, especially since I had been genuinely excited to celebrate myself. The service was unpleasant, the vibe was off, and the reality did not match what they promote on social media. Sadly, I won't be back. They seem to cater to influencers online, but don't show that same hospitality to everyday customers.

I had my mouth set on stuffed baked potato b/c ALL of the videos made my mouth water. However, my stuffed baked potato was very dry and nothing like any of the videos. The potato not chopped up (huge chunks of potato throughout) and I believe they forgot the butter). I asked for extra cheese and didn't receive it, matter of fact I couldn't taste any cheese at all. I don't think I'll be returning.

Pictures I saw online for their dishes looked fantastic. I really wanted something with shredded…read morebeef. I've never had empanadas or any of the other dishes that they make. So I thought I prepared well enough to know what I wanted. First strange thing was that as I'm standing at the truck wanting to place an order I was told I need to go inside to order. Right next to the food truck there's a small store that they own, where you can sit and eat and apparently where you have to order. There was a very nice lady inside helping me with my order, but I was totally confused. The empanadas did not mention shredded beef as a filling option so I asked her about that and she confirmed as far as I could tell that shredded beef was not an option for the empanada. She then flipped the menu over and said here is where shredded beef was an option and it was an $18 dish. I didn't need something that big and I couldn't tell what else came with it. I didn't know what the heck it was. At this point, I'm getting angry and disappointed. So I ordered the chicken empanada. Not what I wanted, but I do like chicken too. I also ordered a cheese stuffed bread appetizer. Second strange thing from a food truck is that she said it would be about 20 minutes. That seemed excessive, but I guess they make these from scratch. Now here is the third and most baffling: my father, who is with me, apparently ordered a shredded beef empanada, and that's exactly what he got. I didn't hear him order as I was trying to read the menu. I don't know where the disconnect was but they're definitely was one. I know outside the music was blasting but I can't remember exactly what was going on inside, but I know it was very loud because I had a hard time hearing her, in addition to the language barrier. The good news is that all the food tasted amazing. Maybe they're not interested in an English speaking client base. There were three other food trucks in this parking lot and none of them had a menu or anything written in English.
