Enjoyed the bagels here twice during my trip to Bozeman to visit my brother. The service was friendly and the bagels were delicious, however the efficiency could be improved if they used a commercial/conveyor toaster for their bagels. I was surprised to see that they have a single two-slice toaster, which for the volume of customers definitely contributed to wait times. Overall, it seems to be local favorite as it was busy both times I visited - and I visited twice - so that tells you something. Definitely worth checking out! (Tip: Maybe call ahead, or order online if doing a bulk order. There is parking in the rear, and plenty of side street parking in the area.)

Amazing fresh bagels!!

The bagels are delicious and smell even better! You're gonna want to grab a breakfast sandwich and one to go!

This is the real deal. Real east coast jewish style bagels, i.e. boiled and then baked.

Great bagels. I go on Fridays. Call ahead to order so you do r have to wait. The wait can take a while otherwise

Ask the Community - Bagelworks

Gluten free bagels?

No, not to my knowledge. Since they bake so many bagels with gluten, it would probably be hard to guarantee any would not contain any trace of gluten. I checked the online menu and didn't see gluten free options either.

Are the eggs microwaved here?

No, they are made fresh on the grill.

This is a nice coffee shop in an unexpected, but good location…read more From the minute you walk in you can sense that it will be different. It's a home-like feeling, with a front section presenting comfortable seating allowing a view to the outside. If some places can make me feel claustrophic even when I'm not, then when I come here, this is where I'll sit. It reminds me of a closed-in front porch. Go through the entrance to the coffee shop, you'll see the rustic vibe in the decor. There's seating in this area, but off to the side is a much larger room for groups, or meetings. When I try a coffee shop for the first time, I take my time, soak up the atmosphere, look at the menu including their descriptions, and ask questions if I need to do so. My tendency the first time is to go with a standard drink because it allows me to determine if the coffee lives up or down to the atmosphere. That takes me to the reason I come in: the coffee. It is very good. I would have a hard time finding fault with any of the drinks I've tried here. I don't know if it's the coffee, the place, or the employees who chat amicably with everyone -- even the newcomers. Go early enough in the day and there will be a tasty choice of food options in generous portions. The location is just off one of the busy main roads, but easily accessible on your way to or from the airport.

Did some research and decided this was the best place to check out in town, and we were right!…read moreWonderful atmosphere-- peaceful enough to relax or get some work done at, and comfortable seating with a couch in the front if you're wanting to chat. The food was wonderful and very reasonable priced too! I went with everyone's recommendation and got the iced bee sting but with oat milk, an apple cider donut, and a loaded breakfast burrito without the cheese or queso. Definitely satisfying. They are also super first responder and military friendly as well! The young man working provided excellent service and was very friendly and helpful. If I'm ever in town again, I'll absolutely be swinging by! My cousin's review: "Definitely better than Starbucks."

When we came in at around 4pm, there seemed to be plenty of tables available but after an hour, the place quickly filled up. Vibes/Service: Parking lot in the back and it seemed there was some street parking available as well. Many, many tables available with bar seating as well. It can certainly fit a larger group. Great service from our server. Checked on us often and filled up our waters. Food: Because it was our first meal here, we wanted to try out their staple dishes. -Bison Potstickers ($16): 5 pieces topped with mango and garlic chili sauce and served with some coleslaw. Rich and filling, paired well with the sauce. Would order this again! -Bison Patty Melt ($22): it was my first time eating Bison, the waiter suggested medium rare. It looked more red than I usually like but it actually was juicy and tasty-- I guess this is the difference between a regular beef patty. I'd also order this again. -Served with pepper parmesan fries which was so uniquely food. Fries were fresh. -Huckleberry Cream Ale ($8/pint) paired well with my meal.

My server knew the special menu, regular menu and drinks very well. I ordered the bison patty melt and tots for the meal and the Bridger Hazy IPA for the drink. The bartender recommended the IPA and it was excellent. The homemade tots were great. A shredded potato in the middle, nice and creamy and crunchy exterior. Feedback was there were only 5 on the plate. Definitely could use more. The bison patty met was perfectly cooked. A lot of folks overcook and dry out the bison. It was perfectly medium and juicy. Feedback would be a little char on the patty would be great. The service really tailed off in the end, it was not super busy and they had about 5 servers behind the bar. I sat there for at least 15 min until another bar tender asked if I wanted another brew and my server came about 5 to 10 later to attend to things.
