They're not 100% authentic tasting New York Bagels but they are the closest I've come across outside of NYC. The four stars is because I think the coffee is only average and the seating area system leaves a lot to be desired. Go here when it's busy and you'll be eating at Elm Park. read more

I've been going here ever since high school for bagels. Their bagels are delicious and I love the fresh cream cheese. I've tried their coffee both hot and cold and wouldn't recommend it especially for the price. I've also tried their kale smoothies but for some reason they don't have a method of taking orders. They will clear the long line then make my smoothie. I'll have my bagel for a good 10-15 mins before they even start my smoothie. I would order this more I just don't have 20-25 mins to spend at a bagel spot. Good Service Depends on who's working the counter. Some staff are pleasant others are rude and unpleasant. I love their bagels so if I'm really in the mood for one I'll go to them. I wouldn't recommend coffee or smoothies if you in a rush or have somewhere to be. read more

Outstanding bagels and cream cheese!! Took my kids and girlfriend and was very pleasantly surprised. My GF and I both had the Spinach and Garlic bagels with light veggie cream and my kids had sesame with plain. Both kids immediately commented on how fresh the bagels were. They were absolutely right. Sadly the same can not be said for the coffee. Not undrinkable...but needs improvement to get the fifth star. That being said....the price was more than reasonable and I will be back very soon. read more

Got an everything bagel with regular cream cheese that was good but the bacon, egg, and cheese on cheddar garlic was phenomenal! Definitely will be back read more

The spinach garlic bagel with scallion cream cheese is the closest thing to a full body orgasm. It makes your breath smell like hell but it's completely worth it. I'm taking off one star because my order got screwed up a few times. I was going through a vegetarian phase, and they gave me the bacon scallion cream cheese instead of the plain scallion. I was half-way into eating it before I noticed. Made me feel ill. read more

Delicious bagels.. Unfortunately one time I was here I got a bagel sandwich & found a gross black hair in my food. I realized these things can happen so I went back again, this time I ordered my usual, poppyseed bagel toasted with salsa cream cheese and drove away. I later realized they gave me the wrong cream cheese, bummer. Then today I went there to give them one more chance and I ordered my usual and the woman behind the counter said, $10 minimum on debit cards. I said, is that even legal? She dismissed me with a shrug and moved on to the next customer. It was beyond rude. She didn't direct me to the ATM next door or ask if I wanted anything else. Needless to say I won't be going back. This place has gone downhill since they changed management. Hopefully I can find another yummy bagel place nearby. Full disclosure, I'm 7 month pregnant & hungry, but c'mon give people a break. Or charge them a small fee for using there card. No one carries cash these days anyway. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite. Delicious lox and bagel. Priced so graciously, too. Bagel and coke, $8. Perfect!

Amazing bagels. I always have jalapeno cheddar and garlic cheddar gourmet bagels from here with variety cream cheese. Bagels are nice crunchy from out and soft from the inside. Never been disappointed after eating here. Their plain bagels are also really good and they sell fresh cream cheese. I definitely recommend this place. read more

Their bagels are quite good, but everything else is probably best left untouched. When ordering at Bagel Time, you can always count on that warm fuzzy feeling you get inside from their rude indifference at the counter; the thrill of knowing that there is a higher-chance-than-not that they are out of your first choice bagel/sandwich filling and you will have to make a last minute substitution; and always--ALWAYS--the multiple flies buzzing around everywhere, ready to greet you with a delightful grooming session right on top of your food! Be warned that their religion is the Credit Card Minimum Purchase, so if you just want a bagel, make sure to bring a sufficient offering of Cash. I've been here more times than I can count to meet up with a friend for lunch (always at her suggestion). I've gotten sick a couple of times. I can't really say I recommend them, but if you just pop in for a bagel and leave, it can be pretty good. read more

Bagels are clearly made fresh daily, and they are absolutely delicious! However, they don't write down orders, so it's kind of a gamble as to what you're actually going to get, but at the same time, it's definitely going to be good regardless. They're lattes/coffees are not very good, so I wouldn't suggest getting your coffees there. it's kind of a messy place, still have christmas decorations up. there's always a line out the door and the kitchen is always overwhelmed. I go simply because it's the only solid bagel place around. just have to give up a few luxury's to get a good bagel! read more

Best bagels I've had in Worcester. I confirmed that they boil their bagels before baking them which, if you didn't know, is the proper way and explains why a great deal of bagels outside of the NY Metro area aren't good. They lose a star for their breakfast sandwiches, bacon egg and cheese was incredibly bland, and they blend their lox cream cheese, giving it a strange flavor compared to cream chease with chunks of lox in it. read more

Decent bagels and cream cheese. They should be using gloves when making the sandwiches.bagels, etc. and have their hair covered by a hat or some other form of covering. Wish they had prices on their drink displays. almost $5 for a small odwalla drink is a bit much when i can walk across the street to price chopper and get it for $3. read more

Walked out without buying anything. Wow, have they gone down hill. Their sandwich menu was covered with tape for all the items they weren't selling at 12:30 last Thursday. I asked if they had chopped liver (it was on the salad menu although I had been turned down in the past as they said they were out of it). I was told they only have it for the holidays. I then asked for whitefish. I was also told they didn't have that. Both were listed on the menu. I chose to leave hungry. An elderly patron was leaving with plain bagels who told me that she always finds like today that they claim they are out of pumpernickel and marble bagels. Sometimes she said they are out of plain ones too. I have been coming here since they first opened and they were my best bagel shop to come to. Not anymore. I see no reason to ever come back through their doors. How do these guys keep winning "Best Of" awards? read more

They have good stuff here. Their Everything bagels are pretty good. I like their egg sandwich on it. They're serious about $10 minimum on their credit card read more

The bagel was exemplary. I mean, honestly one of the best lox bagels I have ever had in my life. Awesome. The coffee on the other hand, was horrific. I got two lattes and they weren't only watery and somehow tasted old and burned, but it took 20 minutes for me to get them. I threw them both away. Do yourself a favor and get your bagels here, and go to the bean counter for your coffee. read more

Don't get me wrong the food here is amazing. Probably the best bagel shop I've ever been to. The reason for the 3 stars in the slow and unfriendly service, lack of customer restrooms, and how disgustingly dirty it is. Had I walked in not knowing what the food tasted like I would probably not eat here! read more

Loved this place for many years, specially their lox spread, but learned today they no longer sell it! Very disappointing! Please bring it back... it was amazing! read more

Attitude of some employees very unprofessional. Paying customers should be treated better and not called out for asking questions about their orders, especially in front of other customers. read more

Made daily from scratch and they taste that way. Super fresh, perfect consistency, low sodium (unlike Whole Foods), huge selection (of cream cheeses as well). Service is fast, efficient, friendly, turnover is fast so there are no stale bagels being sold. Love this place. read more

It's hard for all business during covid time but that shouldn't excuse them from following rules to prevent spread of pandemic. You basically have to hand over your credit card as payment. Two problems with that: physically spreading covid to other ppl (the workers literally handle all of the credit cards), security (who knows what they do with the cards in their possession). Bagels are ok, not worth the risks of getting Covid or loosing ur credit card numbers. read more

Probably my favorite bagel store in the universe. You will never find better bagels in Massachusetts!!!! My favorite is the cheddar garlic. The service is amazing and the family story behind this business is heartwarming. I probably eat so many during the week, but carbs are life. read more

Quick and friendly service... So awesome this is my first visit and they gave me two free bagels for taking the time to visit their company which was really thoughtful during this hard time! I will be back. read more

Good bagels and cream cheese selection. Try the raisin bagel with apricot cream cheese. We've also had a huge breakfast bagel with sausage egg and cheese, and eaten chicken salad on Asia to cheese bagels. Always very tasty - I highly recommend! read more

The food here is excellent, with many bagel and spread options. However, the whole $10 minimum for credit purchases needs to go. Most credit card fees imposed on businesses are about 3% on the high end. That's $3.00 on a $100.00 purchase. Legally you can impose up to a $10 minimum, but why? Every time I come in here the line is long and I see at least one person walk away from a purchase. I myself have as well. Today a customer walked away from an $8.50 purchase. What's better? Losing $8.50, or saving $0.30 on a $10.00 transaction? Come on. If it's breaking the bank that much than make up for the fee loss in your prices. No one is going to notice 10 or 20 cents added to certain items. read more

Amazing bagels and wraps!! Having lunch now and I got the Turkey Classic wrap, but I always love getting the Chinese Chicken Salad wrap. It's an explosion of flavor I'm your mouth! They make all their cream cheeses and bagels from scratch. My favorite bagel is the poppy seed bagel with olive pimento cream cheese. read more

Bagel Time - Ah Bagel Time, the best place in the city of Worcester to get bagels, wraps and little pastries - Bagels Near Me - Worcester, Massachusetts

Love the bagels but if there's a line and the staff is at 2 like it normally is be prepared to wait

Not great.... we stopped here while traveling for a quick bite. Based on good reviews, we expected better. Eggs were fluffy, nit fried. Bacon over cooked. Overall very bland. read more

Decent bagels, unfriendly staff though. The wait can be a little long when it gets busy, which is in understandable. Nothing special

I am baffled at the low reviews for this place. This place is absolutely amazing and Worcester is lucky to have something just like Boston and New York. The bagels are so gooood. I personally love the lox and strawberry cream cheese/ blueberry bagel. To die for! Love the ladies that work there. Always an amazing experience. read more

I've been here 3 times. This is the second time they didn't have plain bagels. They also didn't have croissants OR BREAD! The line is always out the door. And the times they've had what we wanted it was ok; nothing special. I waited in line for 20+ minutes and ended up having to leave because they literally had nothing either of us wanted. Go somewhere else. read more

First time I had a sandwich I was so happy I went back for seconds what a big mistake let me tell you the old lady has the nastiest attitude I've ever seen someone running an establishment I guarantee you she's probably the owner or owners wife very unprofessional nasty attitude fortunately the sandwiches are pretty good but Second Time Around the attitude was so bad and made it sandwich taste like I was eating something from McDonald's for days old good thing I give Second Chances and will come back within the next couple of weeks and see how it goes from there if all goes well we can turn this one star into a five-star read more

bagel time has the best bagels in worcester for sure and a nice variety of spreads, but that's about it. service usually sucks, there's little to no parking, the hours are random, and the bathroom makes you feel like someone's watching you from a crack in the door. read more

Best bagels in Worcester. I used to go every Sunday morning with my Dad growing up. Great lox and rugallach too. I can't speak about their other offerings but consistently the best bagels around. In fact it's my gold standard for bagels. read more

The two girls working behind the counter are extremely rude and detract from the experience. They make customers feel unwelcomed and unwanted. I have always loved the food but with service like that I will not be returning. read more

Located on a busy street, this place is surprisingly busy. They have such gorgeous looking bagels and smears and cookies and such to choose from. A bit overwhelming in my opinion unless you get an opinion before hand. I'm a real sucker for smoked salmon so I went with that on a toasted onion bagels loaded. When making the order, I was greeted by one of the two rude women taking care of the orders. I spoke to her and I don't know if she couldn't hear me or if she she couldn't understand me (weird because I don't have an accent). Once the order was made, I walked around just admiring the place with the decor and the edible nidbits they have to offer whether it being catered or just to buy. Once the order was done, the other rude lady shouted am order out. I hesitated because I was the only person without food and not sure if she was making my order. She shouted again and have me a glare once I figured it was mine. I hesitated because it was on the wrong bagel. Once I headed out and ready to eat, I realized they were extremely cheap with the lox and cream cheese. $8 and some change for 1 slice of lox, a light layer of cream cheese, thin sliced of tomato, lettuce and onion. I was floored! I've been to many delis that make this sandwich for the same price and more of a bite and less attitude. I swore myself I'm never coming again. By the way, they don't have bathrooms so don't ask. read more

I frequent Bagel Time at least three times a week for a plain or spinach garlic bagel toasted with scallion bacon cream cheese. I've tried a variety of the other bagels & cream cheese flavors (of which there are many interesting choices) & have been pleased with everything I have tried. They also have great hot & iced coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, soups & baked goods. The service is always friendly & fast, & they always get your order right. They have a big parking lot, so parking is never a problem. Great food & reasonably priced, highly recommended. read more

Went there for the first time today, got a bagel which was good but the lady wasn't friendly. Was people watching waiting for my order and the young worker was taking a family's order and she kept giving them snarky responses and was NOT friendly. If you can't work with people than DONT. read more

Bagels and cream cheese are great, but the staff gets more miserable each time I visit. I was embarrassed for one of the employees getting scolded in front of customers by the boss, i suppose. Vegan cream cheese and bagel sandwiches keep me coming back just hope the grumpy staff doesn't ruin your good mood. read more

I can't even believe how far downhill this establishment has gone. In the last two years they have jacked up their prices, reduced the size of their bagels, and their staff has become surly and rude. I ordered a sandwich this morning, on a toasted bagel, the bagel was not even toasted, they did not have the side of potato salad advertised with the sandwich and would only give me a pickle, and they did not put some of the ingredients in the sandwich. In addition to this, the sandwich cost almost $8. I used to love this place, but now it is a complete ripoff and a great way to start your day pissed off and disappointed. . read more
