We have been searching everywhere for a good bagel egg sandwich. Everywhere we try, they get the orders messed up or the bagels are rubbery, etc. I think we've been to every bagel store from Oakland , Pompton Lakes, Wayne...all the way down to Willowbrook Mall. This place gets by every order correct and the bagels & sandwiches are delicious! They really care about what they're doing. read more

This place is horrible. I ordered a steak and eggs and it was literally the worst food I had in my entire life. I know I get it I am not expecting gourmet food but this is not even edible. It was smelling of stale oil and so chewy. The steak was shaved chewy dogfood. I couldn't down it with my coffee even. The home fries were miserably stale smelled of stale oil. I had to throw the whole thing in the garbage and whatever Little bite I had I feel sick and nauseous. If you're charging $16 for a platter atleast have the decency to not give people old stale disgusting garbage food. Shame on you. read more

Bagel O's - Here's a picture of the disgusting "steak and eggs" from my garbage can - Bagels Near Me - Wayne, New Jersey

I've tried to give this place so many second chances but today was the last straw... The older looking guy is extremely rude and I've seen him not change gloves while handling other people's food.. he doesn't care at all... I also ordered ahead a BLT... And when I got there they said they didn't have tomatoes and still tried to have me pay for it... I refused and just asked for an everything bagel with scallion. They served me an undercooked bagel... The entire batch was undercooked... The bagel was super gummy and tasted extremely doughy...The majority of the staff is really pleasant except that one guy. (I know we all know who that person is) Mind you the older owners from years ago were awesome.... I've lived in the area for 20+ years and I know how it used to be there... also the prices have gotten out of hand. read more

Bagel O's - everything Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese - Bagels Near Me - Wayne, New Jersey

Used the TooGoodToGo app and got a dozen bagels here for $5 bucks, which was a nice deal. Staff wasn't terribly friendly when we arrived, but they gave us a great variety of bagels to go home with, including a French Toast Bagel (yum) and a blueberry bagel (YUM!). If you live in the area, give the place a try with the app to get a deal and try out a local shop! read more

Bagels have gotten smaller while their prices have gone up and the staff is rude. There are at least three other bagel shops within a five mile radius, I suggest going to one of those places instead of Bagel O's. read more

Very fast service and following all the covid rules, they immediately get a star for carrying Joe Tea (jersey made and 100 times better than Snapple IMO). Everything bagel was soft and good, veggie cream cheese was basically just peppers. Looks like they have a huge selection of lunch and breakfast sandwiches too. read more

it would be nice to be greeted when walking inside. I was in line when the employe was taking care of one customer seem to be a friendly guy I'm speaking about the employee. once it was my time to order it was what can I get you, not good morning no type of greeting. I place my order paid and notice the employees just walked away. I'm standing there wai for a thank you come again thank you have a great day something. So I decided to say " Well thank you" and I gave a tip. shame on me. yea I wouldn't go back. maybe it's certain type of people get that treatment. read more

This is definitely one of the better bagel shops around the area. They are always busy, but even so, the service is quick. I never wait very long at all. I usually just order an egg sandwich and I have no complaints. People saying they barely put anything on the sandwiches, I don't have that problem. Mine are always just enough. They have a large selection of different bagels, as well as a bunch of different spreads to choose from. The staff are always very friendly and they even remember my order sometimes. I feel like a regular lol. The only complaint I have is that the sandwiches are a little pricier than some other places I've been to. But the convenience for me is worth it. read more

Went there to get a bagel and noticed the guy behind counter blew his nose while he had gloves on and didn't change them and then proceeded to help next customer. read more

Seems like they got new owners.. very nice people working there! The bagels have been SO fresh every time. I LOVED the French toast bagel.. Not sure what other reviewers are saying but I got a bagel with fresh lox and it was loaded up with lox. Same with an everything bagel with tuna- loaded with tuna. This is my new favorite bagel place! read more

My fiance and I always get into the debate of where the best bagel place in Wayne is. He, being from the valley side, always raves about Bagel-o's and says it's the best. I, being from the hills side, instinctively disagree. I finally allowed him to make his case. Service was awesome, but the food was just ok. There was nothing so outstanding that I would make the trip across town for. read more

The people who work here were all really friendly and efficient. Not to mention they probably have the best bagels I've had in New Jersey in the last 20 years if I wasn't on a diet I'd be here every day read more

Service is awful. Old man in front is rude and was muttering something under his breath when I asked for a darker/well done bagel. Never coming back here again. read more

I used to frequent this place when I lived in the area and once in a while will stop in here for a bagel or sandwich when I'm at work. I'm almost positive since 15+ years ago when i frequented this spot it has changed hands once or twice. The bagels are decent still, I really have no complaints there but I got a chicken salad sandwich and compared to years past it just wasn't very good, ok at best. Friendly staff, ok bagels and considering you aren't flooded with local bagels in this area, it's worth trying out for a dozen or a Taylor ham, egg and cheese one day. read more

Used to order breakfast for the entire warehouse all the time but too many mistakes daily. Biggest pet peeve was you placed a phone order. They told you 20 minutes. You waited 30 and when you get there, THATS WHEN THE 20 MINUTES WOULD START. It's infuriating. read more

bagels are delicious, as long as you don't order with cream cheese!! There was barely anything on it and of course, made it hard to eat while on the road. Don't be stingy!! read more

Bagels are ok. But there appears to have been a change in ownership. Place looks very different. Bagels task different but biggest concern is prices appear to have risen 20%. read more

Very fast delivery. Decent selection. The staff is very friendly and so are the delivery people.

Prices are always changing, prices aren't listed, where is the price increase for the French toast bagel or rain bow bagel? 6.60 for a tiny bagel with butter and whole wheat wheat with egg whites. Frescos on 23 is only 4.63 for the same order. Don't waste your time. Grumpy ladies read more

I stopped by this morning for a bagel and coffee. The bagel was ok but the coffee was disappointing because it wasn't hot. How hard is it to make hot coffee? Sorry but I was disappointed. The prices seemed pretty reasonable though. read more

Terrible establishment. I ordered a Taylor Ham Egg and Cheese sandwich on a plain bagel and they figuratively AND literally bent me over. What I receive was an abomination of a sandwich and they completely forgot the egg. If I wanted a lousy bagel I would've just gone to Bagel Stop located across from Wayne Valley High School- Go Indians! It was utterly unbelievable that they screwed up my order seeing that I was the only one in there. Sad! Either learn to get a simple order correct or get right out of my face. Everyone who works there should be ashamed of themselves and have brought disgrace to their families. I would give this place zero stars if it were possible. Sam's Bagels didn't die so shitty bagels could exist in this world. I'm going to pray to my lord and savior Jesus Christ that this place goes out of business. Worst $6 ever spent. read more

I'm guessing ownership has changed as the service and quality have dipped. Not sure why, but the Bagels aren't as good, so maybe using a different vendor. The prices change from day to day, so I guess it depends on who rings it up. Coffee is barely warm, so I skip that now. read more

I just had a morning sandwich from them. It was Turkey Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a roll with pepper and ketchup. They had the nerve to charge me $6.25 for this horrible sandwich. It was basically bread! I have had bad things from them before but they are starting to now charge a crazy price for that bad sandwich. Never again Bagel O's. You have burned me for the last time!!!!! read more

Good bagels that are chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Nice lunch sandwiches and service is always friendly.

I've never been inside; I've always gotten my orders delivered. The delivery is fairly quick most of the time although not always accurate. I would say that it's nothing really special but it's convenient for me because it's near. read more

Bagel O's - Tuna on a roll with lettuce and tomato. - Bagels Near Me - Wayne, New Jersey

Do yourself a favor. Drive about 1 mile down the road to a place called Hot Bagles. The food is better, it's cheaper and the people working there are actually friendly and happy to see you in the morning. Bagel O's is overpriced, takes FOREVER, even if you call ahead, and the employees working are just plain rude. Now the main reason I'll never go here again. I used to call and order a breakfast sandwich on my way to work 2-3 times per week for about 6 months. Then one day I get to work and see a "Daily Specials" fax laying in the fax machine. The sandwich I just paid $7.50 for was listed as a special for $4.99. I kept my eye on it and the same sandwich is listed on the daily specials every single day. Then one day I called on my way to work and asked what the daily specials were and the woman on the phone had such a bad attitude and didn't even want to look for me. Nevertheless, I ordered the same sandwich, picked it up and paid $7.50 because she didn't want to look for the daily specials paper. Then I get to work and sure enough, the daily specials paper is on the fax machine with the sandwich I'm currently eating for $4.99!!! So the way I see it is I'm out over $100 or so over the course of 6 months. read more

Tried calling and placing order, guys just put the phone on hold for 20 minutes and ignore me, drove up there 3 customers on site so it wasnt busy. Saw the same thing customers called and they just answer the phone and ignore the customers . they messed up my order and i had to wait another 10 mins for a new sandwich. food is decent . service is horrible read more

Fantastic place to grab breakfast. I've been getting my breakfast there for over 2 years almost every day. The service is always friendly. The bagels are fantastic. Very dependable. The Banana Foster is the best tasting flavored coffee I've ever had and it's made my Keurig get very little love for the past two years. Oh well. Glad this place exists. I choose to order in advance to give the crew a little lead-time during the morning rush. Try the garlic bagel and jalapeno bagel with a bacon egg & cheese. And ask for the bacon crispy ;) read more

Ordered 2 sandwiches and a wrap from here for breakfast at 8:45am through the phone. Was told it would take 45 minutes. At 10:00am the food still hadn't arrived so when we called to see what was going on, they said they just started our order then. Waited another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. When the girl showed up and asked us to sign, she had no pen to sign the check. Honestly, do better Bagel O's before you lose all your business. read more

I enjoy coming to Bagel O's every morning. Always friendly and the coffee and bagels are the best. Betty is a pleasure to know and so is the rest of her staff. The bagels are good here but the people working there give you such attitudes. With the exception of maybe two women one I think is the owner. You're made to feel like you're actually pissing them off By being a customer at their establishment. It's a shame because typically the bagel shop Is your first stop on your way to work- and the attitude of the people you deal with can set the tone for the rest of the day. I am typically a happy positive person but i always feel so grumpy when i leave there, especially when certain people are working the counter Only reason i continue to come and not go to Lincoln Park bagels where they are super friendly is because it's very convenient on my way to work. read more
