I have stopped up here on my way to the office a few times now. The staff is always very friendly and welcomes you with a smile. They have so many bagel options and serve breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I've only had their breakfast item so far. I usually get the sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel. Croissants and buns are also available. All sandwiches are made to order. This means they come out hot and fresh. They are pretty quick making them, I never waited more than 5-7 min. Ordered the Jersey special on and everything bagel. I was excited to try something a bit different. It contains Pork roll, a meat very similar in flavor and texture to bologna. In the end this was a bad choice the level of saltiness was off the charts unbearable and I was honestly unable to eat it as served. I think not only was the meat extra salty but the cheese and everything bagel just added more salt and in the end I had to deconstruct it and eat the bagel separate and discard the rest. Even then it was still noticeably salty. I think it could have been a case of me ordering the wrong thing. on the plus side the food was a good size and everything was made to order. The restaurant is very small and there is not much room at all to eat, so most everyone got there orders to go. the ordering was a bit chaotic with several workers processing several orders at one time. I think it may be best to order online. If you live or work in the area its worth giving a try for breakfast, however I would not go out of my way to stop in. read more

I've been here multiple times (mainly in the early afternoon) and each time, they are sold out of stuff (which I love for them!) and I end up getting getting to try something new. I got a Pastrami sandwich on an everything bagel the first time I went and it was AMAZING. The second time, I got the same thing on a croissant for my friend to try. Landed pretty early in the morning and wanted something small yet hearty to last me a while before I get my first day of traveling underway and came across this bagel shop on Yelp. I was just okay to me if I'm being honest. The cream cheese tasted a bit bland for it to be scallion and the lox was over bearing of all the other toppings. (Red onion, tomato, capers). For me to have an onion bagel and scallion cream cheese I was surprised that all I could really taste was the salmon. This is hands down the best bagel breakfast sandwich I have ever had in Houston. Its a cute little shop in a plaza. There is no place to sit inside so definitely a grab and go place. The bagel is soft and bouncy which makes for a great sandwich. I really enjoyed the turkey sausage. I did ask what are there top sellers and they told me the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese and the Lox Bagel. This small bagel shop is a highlight stop on my weekends. They run their shop like the ones you see in NY. The space is a bit small, service is quick, and bagels are delicious. Because it's a small grab and go place, I would suggest knowing what you want to order so that you don't hold up the line because this place can get crowded pretty quickly. They have 2 cashiers, so make sure you know that can go to either to get serviced. As for the taste of the bagels, I've never gotten anything that I didn't like. My go to is their Lox Sandwich on an everything bagel with the works. It's a decent price, around $11 for the sandwich, but it's loaded and can work as a full meal. If you're not a lox fan, or want something similar without the price tag, they also have a lox spread that gives it a similar taste and feel but just not as heavy. All their spreads are made in house as well. I really enjoy their veggie spread (if you're looking for savory) and their strawberry, as well as their blueberry spread. A bagel and spread is around $3.75, which is a great deal, and still definitely enough to fill you up. My other suggestion is to go early, especially on a weekend because they do sell out of certain bagels and spreads. If you need a good bagel fixing, Bagel Bob's is the place to go! read more

I eat very spicy foods and I wasn't expecting Bob's Jalapeno to be spicy, but it was, it had a nice little kick to it, just enough to satisfy the heat lovers and the faint hearted as well. The other bagels were excellent; my second favorite was the Everything. As well as have fantastic flavor they had the perfect texture. A trip to Bob's is worth the drive. I actually only ate 1/2 of it because it just wasn't good, at all. I dont know if I went on bad day, or if I just didn't like it. I usually get my bagels toasted, and I didn't know that was an option here because the server didn't ask me. Don't get me wrong, the server was very nice... just didn't ask if I wanted it toasted. But he could have also thought that if I wanted it toasted that I would have asked for that. The bagels were also a little on the smaller size. We decided to stop in for lunch and it was a wonderful choice. There are breakfast and lunch options. Not a huge menu, but personally I like that. You can't eat inside but again, it's like a real true NY bagel shop. My husband got the roast beef with tomato and lettuce and onions. It was not skimpy on meat or veggies. I decided to get the egg salad with lettuce and I will tell you, one of the best egg salads ever. The owner was kind enough to give me a sample and that was so nice of him.
