YUM.. I love this deli. The staff AND customers are characters. I kept looking for George Costanza. I heard him but didn't find him. The Bagels, Bagel Chips and Bialys (minis too) are amazing - even with Boynton Beach water, LOL. The meats and spreads are delicious. I brought home Bagels, Bagel Chips, Min Bialys with Lox Cream Cheese (so much lox), Whitefish Salad (almost 100% whitefish), Baked Salmon Spread and Pastrami. OMG. So good. There is nothing like it in Orlando or in Florida other than a few pockets in Boynton Beach and Boca Raton. Love it. My mother was thrilled when I arrived with all the goodies. Prior review: They have more lox in their lox cheese then any other deli. Love it. The Whitefish Salad is wonderful. Great meats and salads. Love the mini bialys and great bagels. I've been here before and food was pretty good. Went this morning and it was sub par. Scrambled eggs and hash browns tasted fishy. Only thing edible was my bagel and orange slice. Even the coffee was bad. Tasted like 2nd generation. Water run thru again on 2nd round using previous grounds. No kidding. It was that bad. read more

This "New York style" deli leaves a lot to be desired. In this day and age, for a restaurant such as this do be "cash only" is unnecessary and inconvenient. Nobody pays in cash anymore. If it's a way for the restaurant to save money, they are doing something wrong. If you are one of those unfortunate people that are coming here for a first time, you will be surprised by this policy and will force you to walk to the neighboring Publix to either use the ATM or buy something and get cash back. Again, totally antiquated and unnecessary. Next the food is mediocre at best. Each meal comes with a mini chocolate chip muffin that is dry as desert sand. I ordered a wrap which was not bad but not something you can mess up very easily. The other thing that bothered me is that they nickel and dime you for everything. I asked for a little more pesto sauce for my wrap and was told it would be a charge. Lastly we ordered a bagel that came with a small 2oz container with cream cheese. Don't bother asking for more. They will charge you. In a community where delis are a dime-a-dozen, this place falls flat. read more

Bagels & is an old school breakfast spot. Right off the bat they have clear signs for new customers stating that they only accept cash so our first visit had to be abandoned. Last weekend we made sure we had cash and off we went to Bagels &. Located in the fountains square Publix plaza on jog and boynton this old school breakfast joint is a must to visit. On both occasions that we got there it was extremely busy and we were able to get a table quickly on our recent visit. The servers promptly serve you coffee and give you a couple of minutes to scroll the menu. I ordered an orange juice and had the Spanish omelette with a sesame bagel toasted for my entree. The service is excellent and the food tasted great. They also have a to go bakery if you are interested in picking up. We've been coming here for 20 years and the place is a nice breakfast spot. The bialys are amazing! Yes, the cash only can be a pain in the ass, but it's clearly marked everywhere and there's an ATM at the Publix nearby so don't sweat it. This is a local place that has a good buzz about it and people know each other with the occasional tourist and snowbirds. To the lady who left an awful review because the owner was upset that her kid was opening the jellies: teach your brat some restaurant manners when dining out don't blame her for your poor parenting! And to the guy who wrote a bad review because he couldn't wait 20 minutes for a good cooked fresh breakfast: there's a McDonald's in that same parking lot with breakfast 24/7 - have at it! To the lady who missed the waitstand that you practically fall over upon walking in the front door with the big sign "please wait to be seated," you may need new glasses. For serious foodies try the Benedict's - any of them, they know how to poach an egg! Especially the Pastrami Benedict! Who thought of that perfection? The omletes are big and the coffee doesn't stop. Get there early on weekends or expect to wait. So, points: Good food takes time. Locals rule the roost. Tourists are usually jerks. Great coffee! Bring cash. read more

In this very unsettling time of COVID, my husband and I try to start our days on a positive note. We enjoy going out for breakfast which sets an upbeat tone for the rest of our day. We will only eat outdoors, so we decided to try "Bagels And.." in Boynton Beach in the Fountains shopping plaza. What a find for us !! Leslie, our hostess was friendly, kind and was eager to seat us as soon as a table was available. She had lots of hungry folks to deal with, but was gracious with everyone. Our coffee mugs were filled quickly, our orders taken, and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. Coffee was refilled so quickly, and looking around, I could see many happy faces.. Yes, they take cash only, and for some that may be a negative. We usually use our credit card as well. But for such a pleasant breakfast experience, using cash was a no-brainer.. I came here for the first time a few weeks ago and they have a pretty nice selection of bagels and other breakfast items. The line on a Saturday or Sunday morning is very long, so I would suggest going early to get seating or even if ordering out. I ordered an everything bagel with salmon cream cheese and I must say it was pretty good. The bagels was soft and evenly toasted and the cream cheese ratio was spot on. The only reason I am giving this place just 3 stars is due to the handling of food. I noticed while waiting inside to order, some of the staff were not wearing gloves or even using the nearby sheet paper when grabbing the bagels for customers. They were using their bare hands to grab the bagels and then touching cash and repeating this process. The person who took my order used the paper to grab it thankfully. The bagel tasted great and I know the place was extremely busy, but there still has to be some kind of proper food handling. read more

A nice small old school bagel/breakfast/deli spot in the area that only excepts cash or check by the way. Ordered bagels to-go with an iced coffee and was extremely pleased with our order. Had scallion cream cheese on an onion bagel, and regular cream cheese on an everything. Both were fantastic, especially the scallion cream cheese! After reading some reviews on here, it seems their bagels are the best thing offered compared to the breakfast items (I would only return for bagels). And as for the service, ours was great as most workers asked if we needed help and paid attention. Would recommend and return, but I still prefer Brooklyn Water Bagel for their iced coffee. read more

We were told that we get an extra bagel with purchase of 6 -- when we got home the extra bagel was missing. This place also charges an extra 50 cents to cut the bagel and tacks on 4% above the cost when paying by credit card. Potato knishes appeared large in case but we were given 2 small ones since attendant claimed they were fresher from the kitchen. Lake Worth location is much better with service and doesn't nickel-and-dime you. Stay away from the Boynton Beach location! read more

Was here today for the first time. Always up for trying new breakfast places. This place is CASH ONLY. They have a deli side and a restaurant side. They have only about 15 tables or so...and seems to be a family run type of place. Prices were on the cheaper side...but you get what you pay for. The home fries were WAY overdone and burnt and barely any potatoes. All onions and crumbles of burnt onions. Ew. The egg sandwich I had was exactly that. Dry, with egg and bacon. The server was not friendly, and the place needs some work. The ceiling was disgusting, and it's a place I would never return to to eat. read more

The bagels are good but... The store is very crowded because they serve food (e.g. scrambled eggs) at a too small restaurant type room, so you have to elbow your way through a crowd waiting to be seated in order to order you bagels and pay for them. At other places, a "bakers dozen" is 13 bagels. Here it's 15, but you are not getting three free bagels. The price per bagel is about the same as other places. It's basically a scam to get you to buy more bagels. Finally, all three cash registers had a sign saying "cash or checks only." Say what? In this day and age? I asked: "When are you going to accept credit cards?" The cashier said "We already do, but we will charge you a 4% surcharge." So Bagel & has adopted a business model to "nickel and dime you." On principle, I will not be returning. read more

Had breakfast today! Whitefish Platter, side of potato latkes and a bottomless cup of joe. Partner had eggs Benedict and it looked and tasted really great Both came with a small blue Berry muffin! Menu is large and this spot has some years on it- waitress staff was attentive and seems to have been doing this a very long time. This spot is cash only so be Prepared for that part. You can really tell which reviews are written by the owner, an employee, or someone else who has no idea how to be honest or what they are talking about at all. Reading all the reviews, it seems way obvious which reviews are fake. It's a shame to eat it in a place with others, (when they pick this place, because they "heard it was good") and you just have to suck it up. I went there last week (March 2nd) and it was closed. Sign outside said they were closed but gave no reason. I peaked inside through the window and found several employees moping, cleaning, spraying, etc. They must have had an inspection from the health department.
