Great place to stop for breakfast or lunch. The bagel selection was very good and the service was first rate. Everyone who came in seemed to be a regular that the staff knew by name. It was very cozy. If you're vegan, they offer hummus options for bagels. They also serve Jones sodas made with real sugar, which is yummy too.

    Burnt bagel

Horrible experience and they won't even pick up the phone for us to complain about our very bad experience.. burnt bagels for starters however from the get go they gave our food to another customer who never verified it was his .. we also waited over 30 minutes for it all to be recooked, she just handed it to him assuming that it was definitely his order which struck me as odd and very unprofessional conduct.. we also paid for extra bacon which was never added to our order and the bagels were burnt on the bottom ..to add insult to injury they forgot to put our sons plain bagel in the to-go bag ... we will never frequent there again because every time we go there its one thing after another with constant mishaps .. .. Sincerely four dissatisfied customers Eric, Tyler, Jared and Marie

If you ever had a NY bagel you will be very disappointed. Soggy stale roll with a hole in it. Never again!

Placed a simple takeout order, the receipt on the bag was correct but the contents in the bag were wrong.

Extremely disappointing. Your business hours show you're supposed to be open Saturday and Sunday 6am-2pm.

I asked for a sample of the spaghetti sauce because I'm kind of picky about that and she gladly brought me a small bowl of it to taste as soon as I tried it, I knew that's what I wanted. It came with three large meatballs that were homemade, side salad & garlic toast. I finished the meatballs, a few bites of pasta, one slice of garlic bread & the salad. My brother in law and I split a piece of cake because we both really wanted it but were full. That was the best slice of German chocolate cake I've ever had. We had a nice conversation with some other patrons and look forward to breakfast before we leave tomorrow.

Ham was tasty and my wife got a classic waffle with strawberries! This place is a Steeler's paradise so all you fans, come in! If you stay at the Days Inn, guests receive 15% off Breakfast Only. Merritt Island Pancake House is different from a typical diner. Even though at first this looks like a low-brow diner, the special touches say a lot. They keep with the islands theme in the decor, dishes, etc. There is a whole wall with colorings from children who have dined here. There yummy dishes with lots of gluten-free options (I had GF lemon blueberry pancakes that were great). Something that impresses me is their fruit choice--blueberries, blackberries, strawberries--instead of the typical cheaper fruits. I was really glad with the eggs because they even taste better (creamier) than a typical diner egg (like possibly cage free brown). Maddie was my server and she was sweet, easygoing, and good with the menu. I'd like to bring my girls here and was glad I tried it.

We got lemon blueberry pancakes, great flavor a of blueberry but I didn't get a lot of lemon. Could use some zest in the pancake batter. Oreo pancakes were very luscious! The custard was good and there were a ton of Oreos. We also got a pancake breakfast with eggs and hash browns. Hashbrowns were delicious and cooked nice a crispy on the outside. The eggs were super fluffy and cooked perfectly. The m&m pancakes were disappointing. Throwing m&ms on top doesn't make it an m&m pancake. Mix it in the batter! While Alex was good, we just found everything very slow. The place was not busy in the least, the service should have been much faster. As a matter of fact, the people behind us got up and left bc they were so slow and waited a very long time for just coffee. The place is huge and decorated cute. Nothing crazy, just island photos. I'd come back with the hopes of faster service.

This place is pure charm from the moment you walk in--warm, welcoming, and exactly the kind of spot that makes you believe small-town gems still exist. There's a reason they were just named Best Restaurant in Rockledge... and honestly, it's about time. Now let's talk about the real stars: the ladies who run this place. Kind doesn't even cover it. Friendly, attentive, genuine--like they actually care that you're there (wild concept, right?). The service alone would have earned five stars. But here's where they went above and beyond: I lost my wallet before heading out on a cruise. Panic mode activated. Turns out, the amazing women at Whistle Stop Café found it and safely kept it for me until I returned. Everything intact. Zero drama. Just pure integrity and kindness. So yes--great food, adorable location, and well-earned local awards. But what really makes Whistle Stop Café special is the heart behind it. This place doesn't just serve meals; it restores your faith in people. Go hungry. Leave happy. And maybe double-check your pockets--but if you don't, you're in the best hands possible.
