    Ribeye and eggs breakfast
    Victoria B.

On vacation and driving down the Florida coast, we found this gem in a small strip mall. We were warmly welcomed by everyone, including other patrons. Our server was a zippy ray of sunshine that made us forget just how early we were up. After a rundown of the specials, we made selections and Debbie's smile and conversation made the quick order seem instant. If Muddies were closer, we'd be there more often, but hopefully an annual pilgramage will suffice.

Found this place on Yelp and decided to check them out. When we arrived they were not very busy. You seat yourself at one of the tables or counter bar. We chose a table next to the window although the curtains were closed. The interior is a little dated and dim without the curtains open but it was cozy. Our drink orders were taken as soon as we sat down and the menus were provided. They offer basic breakfast food - eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, biscuits etc. Prices were extremely reasonable. My son ordered one of their larger breakfasts that came with pancakes, biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs, home fries and a meat of his choice. It was a lot of food although the pancakes were the size of the biscuits which was odd but he enjoyed it. I tasted his home fries and they were very good! The biscuits and gravy were good too! I ordered the NY Strip and eggs and opted for grits for my side. It was all good! Steak was a little tough but had a good flavor. The grits were perfect! Our waitress was extremely attentive and friendly. Food came out in an acceptable time. They do offer daily specials so be sure to ask. They also have a brunch/lunch menu as well. I'm definitely putting this place on frequent rotation in order to try other things on the menu.

I've been around a lot of brunch joints in the area and this one is great enough that I hesitated to write this review. By that, I mean that I like getting a seat and I don't want to fight you for my table! So, what's there to like? Well, the prices are reasonable, the food portions are generous, the staff hustles, and the whole place is spotless. I've had something different each time I've come in and it's all been pretty darn good. Breakfast? Delicious. Lunch? Tasty. Grab that deluxe breakfast if you want to skip lunch. There around noon? Try their BLT or Club. So, please go and eat at Muddie's and make sure they do well enough to buy more tables for me to sit at...or hurry up and give me yours! I'm hungry!

After a nice morning walk my husband and I decided to have breakfast at Muddie's and what a great choice. Staff were super friendly and attentive, food arrived quickly and hot. The corned beef in the omelet was delicious and not to salty. My husband had the country omelet, the gravy was excellent and tasted just like scratch and the grilled biscuit was amazing (and I don't love biscuits!) location is simple yet comfortable and bathroom clean. Oh, the coffee was pretty good too!

We were looking for a breakfast spot near Sam's Club and this place came up. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have skillets that are not on the menu, but I ordered a Farmer's Choice Omelet. Everything was great. Prices are reasonable. Portions were hefty. The lunch menu looked good, too. We will be back!

Small diner with good food and friendly service. Breakfast and lunch are the meals to love here. You can get your car washed next door and get a good meal here while you wait. Nothing fancy just good home cooked food and friendly service.

Their smash burgers aren't just good; they're the kind that make you pause halfway through and think, "Alright, this is how a burger is supposed to be done." No shortcuts, no trendy gimmicks just that classic, time-tested flavor done right, the way it ought to be. The patties come off the grill with that perfect crispy edge, the kind you only get when someone actually knows what they're doing back there. Everything tastes honest, fresh, and carefully made. You can tell there's pride and love behind it. And the people? Honestly, that's half the charm. Everyone from the folks taking orders to the owners themselves treats you like you're a regular even if it's your first time walking in. They've got that old-school friendliness you don't see much anymore. Cool, down-to-earth, actually present. It gives the place a warmth that you can't fake. All in all, if you're after the best smash burger around and a place where the people are just as good as the food, this is the spot. I'd go back in a heartbeat....

We grabbed seats at the bar, and right out of the gate the experience was mission-ready. The girls behind the bar were awesome, friendly, attentive, and just had that effortless vibe that makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. Now the food... wow. Everything came out fresh, hot, and absolutely dialed in. The burgers were stacked and juicy, the sandwiches loaded, and those sidewinder fries? Forget it. Crispy, golden perfection. You can tell nothing sat under a heat lamp, this was all cooked to order and launched straight to the table. Best way I can describe it given the location... This wasn't just good food, it was a full-on flavor liftoff. Like sitting a few miles from Cape Canaveral and watching a rocket punch through the atmosphere, everything about this meal just took off and didn't look back. When we arrived, we did notice the outside could use a little TLC, but once inside, it was very clean and tidy. We were immediately greeted by both the hostess and bartender, and they were very friendly. We were seated right away and our drink orders were taken quickly. It took us a few minutes to go through the menu since we weren't familiar with the restaurant, and there are quite a few items to choose from. We ordered the "Crack Mac Snack" (macaroni and cheese) and added pulled pork and the biscuit bread. The food came out quickly, and we were not disappointed. The biscuit bread was absolutely amazing, rich, soft, and delicious (maybe a little too generous with the butter on top, but still delicious). It's a thick, hearty piece, about two inches high and roughly four inches square. The mac and cheese was a generous portion and easily enough to share, and it was really good. The homemade BBQ sauce was also a highlight. The only slight miss was my husband's Coke, which wasn't very sweet, possibly a calibration issue with the machine. Overall, this is definitely a spot worth trying if you're in Cocoa Beach and want something different. There's a lot on the menu, and we'll definitely be back.

Inside is a tiki bar vibe, it is very small business and the waitress is super nice (and must deal with a lot). It was virtually empty when we went for dinner. Mussel and clam in white wine: okay the bread was not even grilled (I had expected some buttery smoked grill mark situation) and the clams had a lot of sand in them. There was a handful of dead mussels. And overall it was a bit salty and lacking in freshness. Mahi taco- inside was good but idk if orlando doesn't have a good bread place cuz the tortilla was soo bad. Like no moisture, fake tasting tortilla. Otherwise the fish and toppings are yummy and I can see why its recommended. Again not really the blackened grill flavor. The fries were real potato (russet) but also felt a overfried/fried too long at a low temperature because they were greasy and some were burnt.. The fried oysters were okay, on the smaller side. Overall, this place might be better for fried baskets and like fish and chips rather than fresh seafood experience. Also considering it is on the cape/island you do have to drive out a long way on a single road to get to it, so that might have also influenced my expectations. Again the service is good and nice if you do want to support a local business. Just for the price and repertoire, maybe I had higher expectations.
