Bafang Dumpling is a popular Taiwanese chain that recently began popping up in SoCal. I have been seeing it around for some time, so I was excited when I finally got to check it out this past week. When I walked in, the servers greeted me and created a welcoming environment. The place was nicely kept and clean also! The menu was straightforward, and I am glad that they had good combos. I ended up getting the 6 piece dumpling, 6 piece potsticker, and Soup combo along with the Special Noodles, pork chop, and drink combo. Both of these combos ended up being delicious, with particular compliments to the Sour and Spicy Soup and Pork Chops. The pork chop had a slight sweetness that made it so enticing to take more bites. Overall, Bafang Dumpling is a delicious option, and I will definitely be back to try more of their options! read more

Went to their grand opening and tried their food for the first time. I ordered their potstickers, dumplings, signature noodles, tawainese beef noodle soup and pork chop. We weren't expecting much from a dumpling chain but everything was delicious and the price is reasonable for their portions. We could tell that the dumplings and potstickers were made fresh and the beef in the tawainese noodle soup was thick and tender. My favorites were the signature noodles and pork chops. Noodles were silky, creamy and had a nice spice. Pork chop had a nice flavor and wasn't heavily battered like other places. We are so happy to have a different cuisine in our city, and we will definitely return to try their other dishes. Great addition and option to Cypress. Highly recommend! read more

Dumplings and noodles are the ethnic food of the Chinese people. Bafang is an international chain store, and we have dined at locations of Taipei and Southern California. I was given a pager by the friendly fellow at the counter and my meal was made in less than ten minutes. I sat and ate in the clean, comfortable food court. The pork was good quality, very tender, with a crunchy panko coating. The rice was done perfectly and the omelette on top was delicious with a buttery taste and soft texture. I loved the curry; it had excellent flavor and complemented the pork well. There were also some slices of hard-boiled egg and some bits of radish on the plate as well as a cabbage salad.
