We were seated in the back part of the restaurant... where the booths were which in my opinion ruined my experience at the restaurant. There was a large group that was seated in the front area where the chairs and tables were which was the better area while the booths seemed to be the older setup and had us all squished. This ruined our experience as we were fighting for space on the table. The servers were good overall but not sure if I will return to this location. Having been to the Ajax location that one hits it out of the park with ambiance, service and food! Hope the missisauga location can also kick it up a notch a day would be glad to return. The food itself was really good! Kebab/chicken tikka platter - 4.5/5 Chicken karahi - 4.5/5 Biryani - 2/5 (felt like just rice and meat pieces no masala/taste. Definitely had better biryani elsewhere)

It's was prepared and served with authenticity. Rich in spices and aroma, served inside a clay brown wrapped in banana leaf. Pretty impressive and delicious. We had Beef Kothu (it's quite different than the SriLankan Kothu). Quite fulfilling. However, service is somewhat slow, as we saw only one server trying his best to wait the section (50+ seats, about half occupied). Parking is convenient in the plaza's large parking lot.

I've been here plenty of times for one particular item: Bihari Kabob. The Bihari rolls: (in paratha) these are amazing! The kabob is cooked to perfection. It is a little spicy but full of flavor. The partha is oily, considered your self warn as you can practically use the oil as moisturizer but it's delicious! Chicken Biryani: definitely have had better but this wasn't too bad Chicken karahi: this was also delicious. They top it up with fresh ginger and coriander. This was oozing with flavor and was the highlight of the evening. Paired with fresh Naans Nihari: it was good! The service is a usually good, at times they are very busy so it's a bit chaotic. They are mostly attentive, the food does take longer than usual to arrive at times.

I'm assuming because it's Pakistani and not Indian that's why it's different. I would've love to have reviewed the rice, however it never got here. But with the bogo, the butter chicken is a good value. It's about a 7.5/10 on spiciness.

Lahore tikka house is Incredible, my family has gone here for years and of course through multiple owners, ever since the son took over it's been better than ever. It's places like this which make me wish yelp didn't factor old reviews. After the death of the original owner, I believe his wife took over the food began to go downhill in both taste and quality, though I can't blame her as it must've been quite rough to handle. I believe it was when the building burned down when the current owner began to run things. The new building is in my opinion better than the previous, great exterior and the interior is well designed while keeping the general vibe of the restaurant. The food is incredible, large servings for a good price and even if you don't like lamb I'd encourage you to get the lamb chops, lamb biryani, and lamb Karahi anyway. Of course, I love all their curries, their lamb is just incredible.

Also, it was nice to see an accessible washroom-- a rarity in Toronto! The only thing that I didn't like was that the salty lassi had cumin seeds in it, but that's my fault because I was expecting something more akin to ayran. The star of the show was definitely the chaat papri-- the crispy wafers and the tamarind sauce are my favourite! I'm so glad the waiter recommended this to us. I would love to come back here and eat my way through this menu!

The sambar and chutney were really tasty as well. Service was quick and our server was polite and friendly. They have an open kitchen concept, so it was nice to see the cooks making the food. The price range for the dishes was really affordable as well. This is definitely a place you need to check out, if you're craving south Indian food!

None of them have been disappointing. None of the items are clearly marked vegan but the server went into the kitchen multiple times to check - prefer to have clearly marked vegan options in a Vegetarian restaurant. The Vegan Gobi Manchurian was OK. Not greasy. Crispy cauliflower florets in a crispy red batter. But the it was a bit dry for us and the batter was very less spicy and under seasoned as well. The Vegan Bajji Platter was also less than OK. All too greasy except for Medu Vada. The plantain bajji, the chilli bajji (not spicy at all). The onion and potatoe bajjis were OK. The Ghee Pongal - Family enjoyed it. Thankfully the vegan Rava Masala Dosa was good. Good amount of Masala inside. The dosa crispy. The Mini Tiffin was saviour as well. Mostly vegan except for Rava Kesari. The Upma and Masala Dosas were great and Mini Idlis good. In all the sambhar and chutneys provided were not the usual. We found the sambhar a bit watered down and less spicy and seasoned. Even the chutneys were too runny and less seasoned and spicy. After our meal the server came multiple times to see if we were done so that they can accommodate the next customer. Felt rushed.

But there's a decent amount of parking and it's clearly a popular place with a steady stream of people getting take out during dinner. There's a small grocery section and a butcher area, but when we were there, people were only getting take out. There's a decent amount of choice in the hot table (almost all meat). Although we did end up heating our food back up, as I didn't feel it was hot enough. The naan was freshly made. We ordered two curries, a biryani, naan and gulab jamun. Everything was delicious. Very flavourful and had a decent amount of heat without being overwhelming. I'd say a medium level for those who enjoy heat. The quality and amount of food was very good for the price. What puts this place at a five star rating is the customer service. They are efficient and friendly. The place was clean and they pack everything very well, so nothing spills out. I also appreciated how they followed COVID protocols (they have a barrier by the hot table and I saw the owner ask someone to step back when they walked over it). Lastly, they ended up giving us a free vegetable dish, which was tasier than I expected. So all in all, we're happy with our find and will be back when we are craving Pakistani food!

Considering the area, it's the best value-for-taste in regards to Indian (Pakistani) takeout. If you prefer just to eat in the comfort of your own home as opposed to dining in somewhere and paying premium prices + taxes + tips, then Shaheen is for you! I got a Chicken Biryani + 1 small Chicken Karahi + 1 medium veg pakoras in yogurt sauce and it was ~$22. This will feed 3-4ppl. Again, much better deal than an Indian restaurant. Since this is a grocery store + hot table + butcher, the chicken was soo tender. Not old and hard as with other places. Girl behind counter was very friendly! She also stated that dishes are kept at Medium-Spicy, and that wasn't an exaggeration. So if you're sensitive to spices, I'd ask before I buy! But I think this is a good thing as opposed to watered-down food. Again, great "bang for your buck" if you're looking for a Pakistani takeout!

The minted lemon drink was delicious and tasted like a mojito slushie. Now the service is what brings this place down for me. Our food came out fairly quickly but it took 20 mins or so for our shisha to arrive. The table beside us were seated after and received their shisha in about 5 mins. When we were asking for a refill on coals we flagged down a server who was walking around with them and he saw us and promptly walked past us to refill other tables. Not impressed.
