Just left our FIRST experience here and we WILL be back! Amazing ambiance, I love how the bar wraps around the kitchen it's so cool! The food was AMAZINGGG. We had the NY strip, and bolognese. Perfect serving sizes as well! Service was amazing, Paul was attentive, well versed with the menu and a great server! Can't wait to try more of their menu! Perfect addition to west Ashley!

Went there on the first night and it is exactly what West Ashley / Avondale needs. We knew it'd be great with how good Cafe Roca is (same amazing owners), but it surpassed our expectations. The inside is perfectly sized and has an amazing atmosphere. The open kitchen concept was incredible to watch the team work all night and most importantly the food was incredible! We got the clam pizza, rigatoni alla vodka, the meatballs and finally the tagliatelle bolognese and each dish was a 10/10 (still eating the leftover pizza as we speak). Can't wait to be back all the time!

Menu

We went on opening night and had one of our party wait in line so were able to get seated early. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The menu is extensive and not over priced. We had 6 of us and tried all the appetizers and salads. Everything was delicious. Hard to say what I liked best...The House salad is beautifully presented and the dressing fresh (and I love a good go to salad! ) Loved the butternut ravioli and the squid ink both so flavorful and yet light. My husband really loved the spicy vodka rigitoni. The pizza is perfectly thin and crisp with a tasty fresh light red sauce. Everyone liked the white pizzas but I'm not a fan of garlic so passed on that. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the entrees. The vibe was fun with the open kitchen and facing Ashley river road made it feel very American. Loved the whole experience.

My wife and I were just married 2 days ago and made us feel so special and welcome. He told us about himself and lots of things to do in Charleston, SC. Mr. Jimmy, we will be coming back only because of your service and kindness.

My husband found this spot last minute since it was just a short walk from our hotel. We arrived pretty close to the kitchen closing, and while they mentioned we could still order at the bar, our server, Miseal, graciously offered to seat us at a table and take care of us anyway. That level of hospitality set the tone for the entire evening. We kept it simple and shared the Octopus Salad and the Taleggio Pizza, and wow...every single bite was packed with flavor. The pizza, cooked in the wood-fired brick oven, had the perfect crispy yet chewy crust with rich, melty cheese. The octopus was tender, fresh, and beautifully balanced. It was honestly the best meal we had all weekend. I paired everything with a refreshing brut rose while my husband enjoyed a beer, and it couldn't have been a better way to end our Charleston trip. The atmosphere is stylish and lounge-like with a romantic feel...perfect for a date night or a relaxed evening after exploring the city. A huge thank you to Miseal for making us feel so welcome, even at the end of the night. Great food, outstanding service, and an unforgettable experience. This will absolutely be one of our first stops the next time we're in Charleston.
