I'm not a breakfast person whatsoever! All I have to say is wow!!! Amazing!! I was craving a pancake and was on grubhub. This place came up. By the way this place does not use grubhub so I had to go pick it up. No one knows how they were even on there lol. I looked at menu and reviews and seemed everyone was raving about this place! I ended up getting the corned beef Benedict!! The best corned beef hash I've ever had! The sauce was definitely homemade as well! Baked beans were amazing too! Home fries I asked them to add onions, could of used a lot more but still yum!! I asked for one single pancake and the portion size was huge!!! I will definitely be coming back here. I've tried several breakfast places throughout the past few months and Bacon n Beanz has been the best one so far. The food was delicious. I got the Hash Benedict and it was one of the best hash I've ever had. The home fries were pretty good too, and the egg yolk just melted in my mouth. I tried everything with Cholula hot sauce and it was great. The prices were good, the staff was friendly, and parking was easy. Would definitely recommend it if you're in the area for breakfast. read more

Ok, I am so happy we found this place. I just love supporting local mom & pop joints! I have only had breakfast here, but can honestly say I've enjoyed everything I've had. Now, keep in mind, this is not a fancy place & the menu is simple. There's nothing gourmet. Just basic breakfast. We've had bennies, pancakes, omelettes, beans, muffins, & various sides. Everything was tasty. Staff is super friendly, prices are reasonable, & portions are big...especially the omelettes...I get 2-3 meals out of it. Kid friendly. And my daughter LOVES their waffles; asks me at least once/week to go for one (BTW, she is supper fussy, so this is a big deal...lol) It's not a huge place. You may have a wait. Good Classic All American Breakfast. I have been to Bacon and Beans a number of times over the past couple of years. Their breakfast is consistently good with pleasant servers and a nice clean atmosphere. Good breakfast joints seem to be lacking in the Smithfield area, but Bacon and Beans always fills my need for a good breakfast. Ive been to my fair share of breakfast diners and have had plenty of home fries from different places. This place cooks their home fries just right! It's not too crispy where every crunch hurts but enough to have a nice golden brown color with a soft crunch. You can still taste the potato and its fulfilling with every piece! The sausage links were juicy and delicious! Each bite was savory and chewy. The scrambled eggs were just as delicious as well and I ended up finishing them off my plate. I usually never get english muffin as toast but I'm glad I did this time since it made my meal complete and I am ultimately satisfied with my meal today! read more

We were in town for our daughter's youth soccer tournament and found this great place on Yelp. Run by a husband and wife team....had a nice conversation with our server Lisa and it turned out she's the wife's aunt. Very good, huge portions, and the corned beef hash is the real deal. SOOO delicious! Possibly the best breakfast place in the area, even to exist. First of all, all their good is so flavorful, especially their super crispy bacon. Their scrambled eggs are super delicious and not too eggy tasting, with extra cheese. They have the BEST home fries to ever exist! I really recommend these home fries. They are full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Also, their toast is very well cooked and very buttery and tasty. Their pancakes are super sweet, delicious, and fluffy. A great find while in RI on a hockey trip. Exactly what we were looking for in a breakfast joint. A dozen tables and 10 or so counter stools. The portions are generous. And the quality is as good as we've found from Arizona to Massachusetts! The corned beef hash is spectacular. A decent cup of coffee. And the service is genuine and attentive. Our first visit here was great! The menu offerings are a little off the beaten path, which was refreshing. You can get the usual breakfast fare, of course, but we ventured out of the box a bit. I ordered the Napoleon: A nice twist on the traditional Benedict with portobello mushroom, sautéed spinach and roasted red peppers. My date chose the Monte- a monster of a breakfast sandwich that you have to eat with a fork and knife: Sliced ham steak and Swiss cheese between two pieces of Texas French toast! It came with a side of maple syrup that was warm (extra points for that!) and more of those amazing home fried potatoes. We plan to return to try more of the great menu items. They make their own hash as well as homemade hollandaise sauce. Extra credit for keeping our coffee topped off before, during and after our meals! UPDATE: We returned for another great breakfast experience! Once again, our cups were full and our waitress, Michaela, did a great job. There was a line when we arrived. It's a small place, but the staff did a great job bussing tables and we ended up only waiting about ten minutes. I ordered the Loaded Potato Omelette. Since it was stuffed with home fries, I had Cinnamon Apples as a side. The omelette was delicious and so big that I couldn't finish it. The apples were disappointing - too much nutmeg and not enough cinnamon and sugar. My date ordered the Miny (as in Eeny, Meenie, Miny, Mo!) It was two eggs, home fries, toast and choice of two pan cakes or French toast. It was delicious and performed a quick disappearing act! The time we waited between ordering and being served was a bit longer than expected, but it was a full house and our coffee mugs were happily kept filled. read more

Oh my golly...huge omelet! I decided to pick up breakfast this morning while delivering based on having this place bookmarked and being nearby. Its a cute tiny little place attached to two other businesses I believe, with a small parking lot next to the building. But it was so busy there were people parked on the street and the Cumberland farms parking lot next door. When I called my order in she had told me before I ordered, it would be about 25-30 minutes, but what else do you expect on a Sunday morning. I arrived about 30 minutes later, it was so busy in there. But the waitresses were still attentive and I was in and out of there in a matter of 5 minutes. I opened the container and my God, the omelet takes up 3 quarters of the container with the rest filled with these awesome homefries. I ordered the veggie omelet with sausage added and cheddar instead of Swiss cooked as soft as possible. This omelet is quite delectable. It's cooked perfectly and tasted even better if that's possible. The only problem I ran into was there was no utensils so I have to hold off really eating it to avoid unnecessary messes lol. This is a 5 star rating for a DINER. It is a little gem. The menu was surprisingly diverse. The parking was ample. The waitress was friendly and had suggestions. ...and the bathroom was clean. Another reviewer said it was too hot, however when we were there, it was quite hot outside, but they have 2 large ceiling fans which made it nice, if not a tad windy. I've tried all the breakfast joints in this area (because I love breakfast food) and Bacon N Beanz is definitely the best. Service is fast and friendly, food is very good, prices are more than reasonable. And everything is consistent - some of the local places are good one day and terrible the next but at BnB you can count on everything being done right every time. The home fries are the best around. Eggs are always cooked correctly. Pancakes are very tasty and just the right size - not so small they leave you wanting more but not so big that they're too big to finish. Coffee is good as far as diner coffee goes - it's not gourmet but it's always fresh. We've eaten there regularly for the last couple months and have never had a bad experience. It quickly became our go-to breakfast place and I imagine it'll remain that way. read more

The food has the fresh taste that I have only experienced in Europe where their food contains no preservatives. I have a particular fondness for corn beef hash and theirs is the best I've had. Went in after Ash Wednesday Mass with my mother at around 7:45am and got a table right away. Went to go order food my mother got one cinnamon swirl pancake which was absolutely delicious. I ordered corned beef hash and eggs because their menu said homemade hash. I was told they didn't make it all and it was not available. So I ordered my backup which was eggs Benedict. Which was food but I wish there had been a little more hollandaise sauce. Also it's like after we got our food all 3 waitresses forgot we were there. I had to go up the counter to ask for a refill on my coffee and I had to go up the counter to ask for my bill and to-go containers. Overall I might not go back again unless I am out of options. There are other places in the area they make a better Benedict and to not have corned beef has was a large disappointment since that's my go to breakfast. read more

First off, I just wanted to correct something that Holly W said in her review... There is in fact a parking lot for this restaurant along the side of and back of the building. I have no idea why she thought there was only on street parking and no parking lot because that's not the case at all. Anyway, this is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food. You'll notice that there are no one star or two star ratings at all. Holly's three star rating was a little confusing to me but I guess everybody is entitled to their own opinion. All the food is fresh and made to order. They have the best corned beef hash I've ever had anywhere in 52 years of life and I'm not exaggerating in the least. I've turned on several of my friends and neighbors to this restaurant and they all agree that this it's a fantastic place with lots of great choices. The portions are absolutely huge! When I order an omelette, it covers the entire plate and almost hangs off of the edges. It's a meal in itself even without the home fries and toast that, with the omelette. Are usually order two scrambled eggs with white toast, hashbrowns and the corned beef because I'm a creature of habit but I have eaten several other dishes off of the menu and not once have I ever been dissatisfied or not left with a full belly. The staff is wonderful and very welcoming. It doesn't matter if this is your first time in the air because you're passing by or a regular like myself. I have the good fortune of literally living a two minute drive away from there so a couple of neighbors from my condo building usually join me and my girlfriend for breakfast each Sunday. It's the kind of place that you always want to go to and not choose another restaurant. However, this place is so incredibly popular, it's not uncommon to see a line to get into the restaurant and we are forced to either wait in the line or choose another place for breakfast. It really all depends upon what our day looks like and if we have time to wait or not. But I will say that more often than not we choose to wait because it's well worth it. Any place that has a line every weekend is obviously doing something right. The prices are very reasonable especially when you consider how much food you get and the high quality and taste. Service is always on point and the staff moves quickly to take your order and get your food out to you and is a very attentive to your needs such as needing a refill on your coffee or other drinks and always checks with you to see if there's anything else that you might need or want. I can't say enough good things about this place and anybody reading my review, I highly recommend you stop in and check out this awesome restaurant and leave your own review once you've experienced a meal there. read more

Went here for breakfast this morning with my father around 1130. The environment was very welcoming and we seated ourselves at a booth. The waitress came over right away and checked in and asked what we wanted to drink. The menu is one page front and back so doesn't take long to choose. I ordered the big boy special. My dad got the hash omelette. Food came out promptly and was a rather large portion. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the pancakes were so fluffy yet crisp which was amazing. The home fries were amazing and seasoned very well. The only thing I can say is if you love corn beef hash this is the place to go! It was outstanding they add red and green peppers and onions. Perfect blend of seasonings. If you are looking for that canned stuff do not go here. This place sets the bar for breakfast places in my opinion. According to my dad the omelette was really good as well. Only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars is because I don't want to give it 5 out of 5 because I've only tried it the one time I will definitely be going back and updating this review further but to the staff and owner this place is amazing and I'm glad I found it! This used to be the Classic Cafe, which I loved but new owners, new name, new decor, new menu and I dont mind it at all. Their menu is simple but you'll want to try everything. I've been here quite a few times and I have not been disappointed yet. The servers are nice as well and very friendly. If you don't know what you want they're pretty helpful. The know the menu well. The coffee fresh and this season, they have pumpkin coffee. It's sooo good. The pumpkin flavor is subtle, which I like. I brought a friend here a month ago and she's hooked now too.
