The coffee was decent, but unfortunately the sandwich was pretty disappointing. I got a bagel sandwich, and the bagel was really stale and so hard to bite and chew. The bacon also wasn't great and didn't add much to the sandwich.

This place was so good we went back twice!! The most incredible blueberry scones and muffins. Bagel sandwiches were delicious and super reasonably priced. Coffee was amazing and I enjoyed the one size option for iced, it was the perfect size. Cannot recommend Backyard enough!!

It's a solid place for coffee and breakfast/early lunch. Tucked in at the corner of a parking lot off of a main street, Backyard offers a good selection of pastries and sandwiches, coffee and tea and soft drinks. Order food and take it outside in the yard, which is surprisingly quiet . Dogs are welcomed in the yard (a big bonus for us).

My boyfriend and I stopped here before exploring Ogunquit beach and the marginal way. The staff here were very friendly. It was pretty busy here but the service was quick. I got the blueberry maple latte and my boyfriend got an iced Vietnamese latte. We both really enjoyed our drinks, perfect amount of sweetness and the coffee itself was great. My boyfriend got an oat scone and it was delicious, moist, and fresh.

Loved this spot! Dog friendly patio outside and great options for breakfast or lunch. I absolutely loved the "Emerald Melt" which was ham, cheese and pistachio pesto on an English muffin and I added an egg. Absolute perfect breakfast sandwich! The coffees were great and the pastries were to die for. We'll be back for sure!

Great place for breakfast or lunch. We stopped here after being at the beach for a few hours. Parking kind of stinks, but they do have a small lot, as well as a small metered parking lot next to it. The Girl at the counter wasn't very friendly, but she took our order properly. I'm sure everyone gets tired with the endless tourist that visit this town. Food came out quickly and was fresh. Everything was great! The coffee was delicious and my BLT hit the spot. The little guy even enjoyed the bacon. This was a good spot to grab a quick lunch with the little one. We were glad it was very casual and there were plenty of open seats.

Driving up on the way to Portland for the day with some friends we found this wonderful place packed with so many people and surprisingly parking was easy! The staff take orders fast and pump out the food just as fast. Not only does the food come quick but it's so tasty from food to drinks and pastries. We even took some pastries for the road. There's indoor and outdoor seating it would be hard to complain where you end up sitting the ambiance is great!

The website shows prices but when you go in the store the actual prices are $5 higher. I asked the question and it didn't seem to concern anyone or make anyone think it's a customer service issue. To be fair this is the 2nd place in Ogunquit with this issue and again there's no concern about the issue. All sandwiches are $14 in store. Disappointing

    Main Street, yum!

Coffee is Bard from Portland, perfect. Hot latte awaits. We went for coffee and order lunch too! Delicious. Try the Main Street with green apples on it (super soft bread). Bagels are from Rose! Yum. Gluten free bread was definitely worth the up charge.

Admittedly we wanted to go to the Cove Cafe but the line was SO long and I really wanted to try their homemade corned beef so when I saw that this menu had homemade corned beef I said "lets give it a shot!" so I grabbed the Irish Benedict and my fiance grabbed something on the specials menu, which was a stuffed French toast brioche. Food came out pretty quickly and we couldnt wait to dig in! My Irish Benedict was a 5/5, amazing!! They gave me so much corned beef under my egg, which was a perfectly runny center, and a smooth hollandaise. The potatoes that came with it were perfectly seasoned as well. Every bite, I was so happy. Literally was exactly what I wanted that morning. Now, my fiances French toast wasn't as good. We expected thick pieces of bread, oozing with flavor and a thicker filling. Unfortunately what we got looked to be 2 thinner pieces of maybe sourdough bread with a thinner filling that almost leaked out the sides. The lemon filling and blueberries on top just gave everything a very tart flavor. It was good, dont get me wrong, but not great. So that was a 3/5 for us. Overall if we are back in the Ogunquit area, we are definitely having breakfast here! There was plenty of parking, a nice outdoor patio and great staff.

So I looked them up and saw the adult happy meal on the menu and knew I had to try them. An hour and half drive was 100000% worth it!!! The entire building is small but feels very inviting and comfortable. The atmosphere is iconic with out of this world 90s cartoons painted on the walls. Even the bathroom had a touch of this nostalgia and whimsy (trust me look in the bathroom mirror for an amazing little touch). The staff were equally amazing and truly wonderful. I am currently pregnant and being very careful about what I eat so my husband asked the bartender/waiter if the feta is pasteurized. Most people would have simply said I don't know and moved on but this fellow went and asked the kitchen if the feta is pasteurized (it is). It's little things like that that make us want to go back. Now on to the star the food and drink! We had the soft pretzel which comes with beer cheese and stone ground honey mustard and the fried feta. The pretzel was great and the beer cheese was also great but the feta was indescribable. Every aspect of the feta was perfect and a true umami experience. I got the adult happy meal (a smash burger, chicken nuggets, and fries). It also comes with a toy which is just cherry on top status. The burger was fantastic BUT the fries and nuggets were crazy good. My husband got Flo's Double Burger and he had eaten half of it before I got mine out of the box. He would have eaten two of them if he wasn't so full! He also got the I gotta say... today was a good day sour ale. He loved it and enjoyed it enough we left with a four pack! This is the perfect Maine hidden gem and we will be back soon!
