Pizza was great, wouldn't recommend the fried mushrooms that runs almost a dollar a piece.

Ohhhh Backcountry, we will always love you after a day in the mountain. Memories of slices and beer after every visit to Eldora. You don't come here for the long wait, you come here for the good local vibe and tasty slices.

I came in with Two friends on a busy Saturday (6 July 24) on an unexpected trip to help SAR in the nearby Brainard Lake area... anyway, we stumbled in for beers to relax from a stressful day and we all tried the wings. The food was amazing. Service was very polite even when we changed our order 2x and we weren't really ready when we got to the register so I'm sure that was frustrating to the bartender but he never let on and the beers were poured immediately with maybe 15 minutes wait for wings... the best damn wings yall!! I can't comment on anything else but the cute fells working every angle of the place and amazing blue cheese and veggies too! I want to drive 100 miles back to Ned just for these wings Thanks for not treating us like tourists... living in Buena Vista, I know how much the 4th weekend was overwhelming for many small businesses. You guys handled it with grace from my perspective.

Literally writing a review for this place as i've been sitting here for an hour waiting for my food. It's a Saturday, they should probably have more staff working. I used to come here when i was young and since then it has very much gone down hill. Haven't even gotten my food but we are immediately getting a to go box and are leaving. The restraint is dirty, there's food on the floor, guy handing out orders was definitely high on something that wasn't weed. Wouldn't spend the money here.

I miss the burgers. Wings are great, but I prefer them with light sauce. Pretty solid selection of beer. This place is kind of a staple in Ned. Similar to "Island Time," when it's busy with tourists, expect to wait. If you're in a hurry, ask the wait time before you place an order. Order food at the bar (to the side), leave the kitchen alone. There are other options in town but they're expensive, if you want a good time and hang out with locals, you can't beat it. The atmosphere changes when it gets dark. During the day it's family friendly. Pizza is pretty solid. The one-star reviews are pretty comical. If you are expecting the same experience as in Boulder, BCP is the wrong place for you.

Meh. I've had better pizza in cleaner places. I didn't even save the 1/2 pizza I had leftover.

Pizza is gross over cooked and burnt. Owner or manager seems rude. Would not do anything to address the issue. Weak human

This is a food truck located at the Lumpy Ridge Brewing Company, at least on Sundays. Google does…read morenot give the correct directions - when we followed them, we ended up in a random parking lot a block over. I recommend setting the GPS to the brewery rather than the truck. When we visited on Sunday after hiking at RMNP for the morning, there wasn't much of a crowd here. We ordered and the the food only took about 8 minutes to arrive. Meeker Margherita ($21) - Perfectly cooked crust in this pizza. The cornicione in particular is expertly risen and cooked, giving plenty of charred bubbles and the perfect chewiness. The undercarriage, while floppy, isn't soggy at all. It hold up very well to the ingredients on top. The crust is first slathered sparingly with tomato sauce. The sauce is reduced quite a bit and tastes almost like a concentrated tomato paste. They don't use a lot so it doesn't soak into the crust at all. On top, there's a couple of pieces of basil giving a very noticeably fresh aroma. There's plenty of melted mozzarella cheese, which seem to be of the pearl variety, mild tasting and stretchy. They apparently also drizzle some EVOO, although there's no particular peppery or fruity notes, or heck any real olive oil flavor at all. With how well all the other ingredients worked together, the olive oil is very disappointing. Still, it's a very well constructed pizza. (5/5) Panorama Peak ($23) - Again, this pizza has the perfect crust. Instead of tomato sauce, it's slathered with ricotta cheese, making the pizza very rich and creamy. More melted mozzarella on top of that for even more fatty richness, then pieces of proscuitto, chewy and salty. The meat isn't sliced that well so it's messy to eat. They then essentially cover the pizza with an arugula, tomato, and shaved parmesan salad. The arugula is super peppery and bitter, the tomatoes are fresh and sweet, and the parmesan adds more saltiness. The main sources of salt are the parmesan and the proscuitto. Neither are added in large enough quantities to make the pie overly salty. Mixed in the with the arugula are a couple of stems of cilantro for some reason. Nothing on the menu actually uses cilantro so I'm a bit confused where it comes from. It's essentially a salad on pizza dough so everything falls off the crust very easily making it messy to eat. (4/5) I'm very impressed with the food served at Mangia Mangia. I didn't expect to find such great pizza in a small touristy mountain town. I'll be back next time I'm in the area!
