Weird company. They're based in California and sub out work to affiliated local tradespeople in whatever area the client is in, so have no real stake in the job. The guy who actually came out and did the work was nice, but this was really just recaulking and tacking up a piece of hanger strap with a couple of drywall screws (I thought there was adhesive involved in properly rehanging an undermount sink and wanted someone who does it every day to do it right), so I grossly, grossly overpaid for something that I could have done in 30 minutes. There are also gaps in the new caulk so I'll have to redo it anyway. My fault for not realizing this was such a simple fix - live and learn. They might be affiliated with some good techs for more complicated problems, but there's no way to know who you'll get given their business model. read more

I was completely surprised that you could repair a Corian product!! I own a property management company and needed to find a solution to a clients home with major damage. They were not thrilled about replacing the counter top. I did a YouTube search about Corian repair. I ran a search and found this great company. They came out within 48 hours and had restored their damaged counters back to new! We opted to have the sink restored as well and refinish the entire counter. I was so impressed as were the owners. Our Tech explained how he corrected the cracks but fixed the poor installation that caused the problem in the first place. Our tech received a call about a fire near his home but stayed to compete the job. Hopefully all is well with his home and family. I was referred to BTP by DuPont for out of warranty repairs and a inspection report. This group is a preferred, or high volume, warranty service provider for the manufacture apparently. The repair service was adequate and rated in Yelp independently and I can barely see the repair done. BUT buyer beware there is limited follow through and if you have any problems with your service it could be a bumpy road. If you have integrity expectations then deal elsewhere. The company lacks ethics from the top to the field as they see fit to take confidential liberties without your authorization and disclose details to other parties. Hmmm definitely a no bueno. I selected this compony as i felt they have real professional experience and attitude towards a job that is important to me. The were one of the more expensive quotes that I received as well. With the high price tag, they provided me a written 2-year warranty on a repair of a crack on my granite countertop, which didn't last even a year. It took me a couple of months to be able to talk to Carl while the crack grew almost twice as the original size. John came to my house to repair a long crack in my kitchen granite behind my sink and also to reinforce my sink that had fallen away on one side from weakened support. He fixed my granite so that the crack is now practically invisible and reinforced the sink support underneath. I was very happy with his work. Flaky! Dishonest! Do not use! I made an appointment and received an email from Darrel, requesting all the pertinent information. I responded to that email almost immediately, including a signed contract and received my appointment confirmation, including date and time. A few days prior to that appointment, I received another email requesting the same info. I knew this was a dishonest way to reschedule my appointment, but responded to the email anyway, including resending the original email. Darrel, the sales rep that had originally received all of the original emails, played dumb, acting as if this was all an honest mistake and that he needed to reschedule. OK, fine! We rescheduled. This morning, less than an hour before the technician was scheduled to arrive, I received this text, copied and pasted: "Hi this is John with back to perfection. I'm the technician scheduled to replace your sink. I'm very sorry but we will need to reschedule do a medical situation that just came up. Darrel will be contacting you to reschedule. John, the Tech from BTP is a true master at his craft. I had a corian counter in my bathroom that had a 6 inch wide "banjo" that covered the toilet. Every time the toilet had an issue it was impossible to work on and had to be replaced. So, John removed the "banjo" piece and was able to make the routed edge on the corian look identical to the way it does everywhere else. Just amazing. We searched for 2 years to find somebody to replace a kitchen sink that was mounted under a granite countertop. The sink was odd-shaped and no longer in production. Finally, somebody suggested we call Back to Perfection. We sent a photo of the sink area and they said it could be cut away and a new sink put in. I called the Corian 800# and was referred to Back to Perfection. I called and left a message. My call was returned within a very reasonable timeline. I explained my issue (crack in my counter) and that my counters are over 20 years old. Within 24 hours I had a written estimate, with what I felt was a very reasonable price. We had a call the day before service, to confirm timelines. My tech was supposed to arrive between 9-10am. At 9:15 he called to say the job he was on was running a bit longer than expected, and he would be about a 1/2 hour late.
