Despite having all of our details months ahead of time and a signed quote in place, he added $2,300 of charges 2 days before installation (with no changes requested by us). He refused to install until we agreed, and we had no choice because he had possession of our slabs and had already started cutting them, and we were on a deadline. There were many visible cracks in the countertops, and the steel supports he put in were just short prefab cement stakes secured only with a few dabs of glue (see photos). Overall bad experience. Do not recommend. Use someone with a more proven track record.

The installer did an impeccable job matching surfaces. Fast forward to 2026 and when we didn't think twice about who we wanted to get our quartz from. Steven again helped us finding the perfect quartz and came out when each bathroom was ready for the countertop. Additional quartz pieces were manufactured for the niches and shower entry. Here are a few things that set them apart from other contractors I interviewed: 1) responsive but not pushy. Some stone fabricators in San diego are incredibly pushy. 2) professional- in communication and in the way they do their operations. 3) high tech machinery and a clean cutting room. They let me see the cut template before cutting. 4) high attention to detail. 5) a proper itemized contract. Some contractors would just send me a text message with rates. That's not the way I want to do business, especially when thousands of dollars are being exchanged. The way they did quotes and contracts is what made me pull the trigger. They were mid point on price but for the service and quality you got, i felt it was a great value. I also love giving my money to a nice, hard working family. Dasia then came out to measure the counter area and give some helpful suggestions on things we should consider when looking for countertop material. Once we had decided on a quartz material, Elisa coordinated the details for demo, templating, installation, and backsplash tiling. We had some leftover material from the quartz slab and decided to replace a bathroom vanity countertop as well, which they were able to accommodate no problem.
