Tom kept changing his time to show up. Then when we let him into the house an hour early while we were at lunch he didn't wait for us to review the project. Then when we politely informed him we had hired someone else partially because they were $100 cheaper, Tom wrote back "100.00. OK" He literally wrote that. He gave me one estimate via Yelp based on photos and a good project description, and then he doubled the price after seeing the job in person--but his explanations didn't make any sense. He said my cabinets were lined with some special material that would break three saw blades, and they alone would cost $50 each; it would take a couple of guys a couple of days, yadda yadda. He kept asking if my Corian countertops were Formica (even in person!). I definitely had the sense I was being bamboozled--the more he explained why he doubled the price (on and on he went!), the more I thought he was taking me for a fool. Thomas Leitner stone at the end of the day did a good job with installing the big stuff. Installing the counters and tub. But everyone knows in construction it's about the details. Especially when you pay thousands of dollars for just countertop installation. I provided the marble. My 2 star review is about the Unfinished work. Apparently they can't come back and cut the sink/plumbing holes because they have to charge me an extra 300.00 after I spent 9000.00 to just install marble on my entire master bathroom. I had just had 2 kids and couldn't get scheduling coordinated with his workers. Long story short I won't be calling Thomas again. Doesn't care about the details just wants to charge you for the big stuff but will leave you hanging for the small but very important stuff. If you do hire him make sure the kind of person he is ... he'll charge you for a phone call if he could. read more

Tom and his crew just completed my kitchen and bathrooms project and we are very happy with the whole process and results. After meeting the sales guys from other companies I was quoting, it was so nice to talk to the owner directly. Tom answered all our questions and took his time measuring. We have an extra large ~6'x9.5' island that we were changing from granite to quartzite and Tom suggested a beveled and larger edge instead of what we had, and told us he could get rid of the knee breaking corbel supports by adding steel pieces. With hIs attention to details (he was measuring to the 1/16"!) and friendly non pushy attitude, we knew by the time he left, he was our guy. We had to buy 3 slabs of quartzite and he was able to get us a good price. The kitchen only needed 2 1/3 slabs so with the left over slab I decided to make new counters for 2 bathrooms. Since Tom has quite a selection of stone at his yard also, he let me pick out whatever I wanted as a trade which was great because I wasn't really going to have my bath counters match the kitchen. Communication from the initial call to completion was excellent, he always responded to all my texts promptly - I asked for advice on sinks and backsplash tiles and cabinet trims, etc. and he was always happy to help. His crew (took 5 guys to handle my island) did an excellent job installing and cleaned up after themselves. Oh yes, Tom works along side his crew as needed and everything was completed as scheduled. Tom really came through on a really tough repair. I had a kitchen sink made with wood moulding for a backsplash. The wood was expanding leaking and cracking the marble. I needed a small strip of matching uba tuba granite scrap cut and polished to replace the wood. It was a small job, so I expected many stone fabricators would blow me off or try to gouge me. I contacted 30+ places and only two would even bid, one with a ridiculous price. Tom's employees helped me pick out a piece of matching scrap, fabricated it perfectly, all at a price 1/3 of the other guy trying to gouge me. I requested a quote from this company online and got a call back from whom I am assuming is the owner. He told us to stop by the following day so we could see what he had available. I asked him the hours he was open and he said to just come by before 1pm the following day. We did exactly that and then we arrived the store party was closed so we headed around back to where a bunch of guys were working. They went and got the owner and I cannot even begin to tell you how rude he was. I almost read him the riot act in front of his employees, but decided it wasn't worth it. He told us to come back sometime later because he was busy. I told him he is the one who told it's to come by before 1pm and then he said he told us to call. I went back through his messages and he indeed told us just to come by. I WOULDN'T SPEND 1 PENNY HERE! We went to floor and decor where the staff is so nice and paid a fraction of the cost. This place was going to charge us $250 and we got more than what we needed at floor and decor for $65. We will never go back to this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
