Six of us lucked into finding this gem on a Saturday night at 6. They got us in right away and we had excellent service. We ordered several appetizers and entrees and shared between the table. Every single thing was so tasty! We had bibimbap, half and half chicken, bulgogi, loaded pancake, and several other items. Everything was delicious! I had never had the Korean pancake before and it's lived rent free in my head all weekend. So good!! And reasonably priced!

Such a cute, yummy Korean BBQ spin! It doesn't seem like a true Korean spot on first look - but never judge a book by its cover. The options are definitely more limited than a traditional spot but no restrictions on flavor. Excellent flavorful dishes with such a lively vibe is how I'd describe it. The beef bulgogi was good but fried/breaded chicken was the star of the show. A must try. If you're super hungry, get two dishes. Would definitely return to try more!

What great find in East Nashville. It beats the high prices in downtown. Prices are reasonable. Their happy hour is awesome. Food is incredible. Great service. Love the ambiance. Will be back!

We stumbled upon Babo after a long day of sightseeing. It was a little bit hard to find at night because the sign is so small. Our server was friendly and our drinks were never empty. My friend needed to charge her phone and they gave her a power plug which was really nice of them. The food was hit and miss. The glass noodles were our favorite by far. Large serving and so so flavorful. The kimchi fried rice was on the smaller side and the rice was crunchy which we weren't a fan of. The bibimbap was pretty tasty but the loaded pancake was not the best. It was loaded with so many toppings that it made it really soggy. The beef dumplings were delicious! I would still recommend Babo because of their great service! Next time I go, I'll try some of their drinks.

Was excited to find more Korean food options in Nashville! Have been here a few times and am always shocked by the bill. Even one or two small bar food items or drinks end up being pretty pricey. The food is not authentic Korean food or very high quality, but the kimchi is pretty good.

Very disappointing Korean food unfortunately and not authentic. I saw a lot of great reviews so I was excited, but I have to stick to my local Korean food places instead. I got the Korean fried chicken for the table to share and it looked really good, but they were a burst of salt. Wayyy too salty. I thought it was just me but my whole table couldn't finish it since it was just straight up salt. My friend got the dumplings and they were indeed handmade, but very bland. For entrees, I got the beef bibimbap and it had a good mixture of veggies and meat, but again, way too salty. It was drenched in the gochujang sauce. I think they added vinegar to the gochujang, which I didn't like. More of a bar than restaurant vibe. The drinks were good. I got the lychee martini and it was strong and yummy. The staff and our waitress was super nice though!

I had a power dinner with a friend who is coming into my business... it was his first time eating Korean food, and Onda blew him away ! We started with a seafood pancake, which we split ...absolutely delicious ~ with a nice dipping sauce on the side Drinks from the bar were very nicely prepared Then we moved on to the best Kalbi I have ever eaten in my life and I've eaten a lot of Kalbi even in LA!! They call it LA Kalbi here. Being a business dinner I sure wanted to impress so I also ordered a plate of beef, Bulgogi and spicy pork Bulgogi both ROCKED ~ all three meats came out on sizzling iron plates All of the sides were as good as anything I've ever had, including the kimchi, which was extra special This is a VERY Classy, upscale, wonderful Korean restaurant with food that is impossibly good ! By the way, it's full of Koreans ..and a couple White folks. so that's always a good sign !!

The flavor was really well balanced! I had just the right amount of spice without being overwhelming, paired with a subtle sweetness that made it super enjoyable to keep eating. It came out on a sizzling plate, which not only kept everything hot but also added a nice touch to the presentation and overall experience. The portion size was very generous, which I always appreciate. I ended up having enough leftovers for lunch the next day, and it held up really well! The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice, comfortable atmosphere. Nothing over the top, but definitely a place you can sit down and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. That said, the experience wasn't perfect. The side dishes were a bit limited compared to what I was expecting, especially if you're used to a wider variety. Service was also on the slower side. The staff was friendly and polite, but it did take a few attempts to get their attention when I needed a water refill or wanted a to-go box. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but it's something that could definitely be improved. Overall, I'd still recommend Onda if you're looking for flavorful Korean dishes and generous portions. Just be prepared for a more relaxed pace of service. I'd come back again, especially for that spicy pork bulgogi!

Now... if only I could remember where I am staying. LOL. Just kidding! I made it. I got so lit in Japanese whiskey flights that I ordered enough food for two people. The "Flight to Tokyo" lived up to its namesake tremendously. That dang whiskey is wicked man. Combined with the beers that go down like water and you may be like me.... Wasted Soup dumplings are so damn cool. It's also either an engineering marvel or some sort of biblical miracle. How is the soup born inside the little dumpling?? So many questions!! I had some here and they were sure tasty!! I also had some killer crispy fried pork belly and some kick ass twice fried Korean wings!! Pork belly had tremendous umami flavors and was sticky sweet and yummy all at once! Loved it! But then came the Star.... I love chicken wings as much as I love life! That my friend, is a whole fucking lot!! I am more full of myself than you could possibly imagine. I loved these particular chicken wings a little more than life. I walked through downtown Nashville alone, on a random weeknight, just to eat these wings because I saw them on Yelp. I had already eaten dinner at Eddie V's earlier in the evening, but these wings called me from more than a mile away... Come eat me, Adam.... Is all I could hear after I saw others pictures of the wings.... Shhhh. Wings. I can't. But you must, said the wings.... I can't, I have no transportation.... You have two feet still, the wings said... Guess who won that argument? '26 - 23

The ambience is bright and energetic, with fun neon signs and decor. The space feels open and spacious with plenty of seating. We started our night with the Pork Belly Bao Buns, but since they were out of pork belly, we tried the Chinese BBQ Pork instead. I wasn't upset because they were phenomenal. The Soup Dumplings were just as amazing, but the Roti Canai (Malaysian flatbreads with curry sauce) stole the show. The curry was rich with the perfect amount of spice. You're missing out if you skip the appetizers here. For my entrée, I ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup, and all I can say is wow. The broth and tender wontons were the perfect combination. My boyfriend loved his Pad Thai as well, and the only downside was the portion size for the price. I want to give a huge shoutout to our server, Jaylen, for making the experience top-notch. He was incredibly attentive, patient, and offered great recommendations through the night. Hawkers is on my list for date nights, ladies' nights, or a casual evening out (especially for drinks and appetizers!)

The spicy pork belly is absolutely packed with flavor, and the addition of okonomiyaki sauce makes it so unique. * The "Ube-Bee": You have to try their new specialty Ube sandwich. It uses vibrant purple Ube French toast with bacon, eggs, cheese, and a hash brown patty, all drizzled with miso maple syrup. It's the ultimate sweet-and-savory combo and looks amazing.  * Yuzu Egg Salad: I'm usually not even an egg salad person, but this one is surprisingly good. The secret has to be the Yuzu Kosho (Japanese citrus pepper salt)--it adds a bright, zesty kick that cuts through the creaminess perfectly.  The Vibe: The presentation is 10/10--these sandwiches are basically made for Instagram. It's also a huge plus that they open at 8 AM, making it a reliable option for an early breakfast before the Nashville crowds really start moving.
