I love Korea House for the personable service and for extremely authentic Korean food complete with Banchan. I typically get the steak as my go to but since I had some dental work done I could only get the tofu/soup. This was my 1st time ever getting this dish but wow it just might become my next go to!

I've been searching a while for a spot with good beef short ribs since my favorite place back home closed. Korea House finally gives me a new spot to get delicious short ribs. It's a simple, small place and can get busy. My friend and I waited about 15 minutes to be seated. There's free parking. Love: Galbi - beef short ribs (flavorful, tender, wonderful) Like: Jjampong (great flavor); service (kind, prompt)

We came to this place for the first time this week. The food was good. The staff were friendly. We liked everything we ordered here. This place will be a must when we will visit Nashville again.

This place is a hole in the wall but the food was quite yummy. The galbi was a bit pricey for what it is (la galbi with bones not the ribmeat itself). You might have to wait if you go there for lunch. Worth it tho

Great restaurant. Really authentic Korean food. Service was also great. The ambience was casual as I see many people come as groups. It's also a kid-friendly place.

Great food. Fresh ingredients and good quality meat! Small restaurant but worth the try!

It's like having dinner at a family member's house. Super cozy! I was greeted by a kind woman who helped me select the perfect meal. I ordered the Bibimbap in a Hot Stone. It was AMAZING. 10/10. It comes out piping hot and come with an assortment of bonchons (fermented sides). The accompanying sauce is tangy, sweet, and a bit spicy. The portion size was plentiful. I will definitely be returning!

Korea House is my GO-TO for Korean food. The place is small but I've never had to wait, and they are VERY quick to bring out your order. You also get great Banchan with pretty much any order. Here's what I've tried: -Dolsot Bibimbap: 9/10 - So good!!! Get this with beef rather than tofu because there's more flavor that way. And DEFINITELY go for the Dolsot Bibimbap over the regular one, it's worth it. It comes out in a sizzling hot-pot (careful not to burn yourself) and you have to WAIT so that the rice gets crispy on the bottom. Oh my goodness so good. Then go ahead and mix that perfectly runny egg and all the mixins into the rice, give a generous squeeze of the two sauces they bring out in the red bottles (soy and gochujang), and enjoy!! The dish itself is very fresh, a very good portion, and on the less-flavorful end, but that's why you add your own sauces! The only other thing I will say, though, is that they don't give you a lot of meat for the price. -Kimchi Fried Rice: 9/10 - Super super flavorful. I'm not a big fried rice lover, but when my boyfriend ordered this, I ended up eating half just because it was so delicious. Highly recommend. -Fried Rice: 7/10 - Eh, it's normal fried rice. Not bad, nothing special. I never order it myself, though. -Bulgogi: 9/10 - DELICIOUS!! It is very greasy though, so be prepared for that. But the flavor is rich and it comes out with a generous amount of perfectly-cooked meat. -Goonmandu: 6.5/10 - I like dumplings, but these were pretty average, and to be honest I don't think deep frying them did any favors. They tasted very much of fried food, followed by a sem-flavorful filling. -Soondubu-jjigae: 7/10 - This spicy tofu stew was not too spicy, as someone who can handle medium spice, and the tofu was super soft and had a good texture. It came out bubbling like a cauldron which is super fun, but also means you should be careful not to burn your mouth. The actual seafood and soup part lacked depth of flavor in my opinion, and I mostly tasted heat more than anything else. There are so many other dishes I need to try, and I've seen others order the seafood pancake (it's huge!) and the jampong (also huge and looks super flavorful!) and have been enticed.

Korea House serves up some great Korean barbecue. This was the first time trying Korean food for most of us in our party of six, so we asked some questions about the menu before making our selections, and our waitress gave us some recommendations of popular items. Our group of friends shared the seafood pancake as our appetizer and it was delicious! For my entree I enjoyed the beef bulgogi. It is served with rice and accompaniments. Unfortunately, for the six of us, we only received two sets of the accompanying sides and I would have loved to have had more than a tablespoon of the cucumbers and bean sprouts (my two favorites). The meal was also served with rice, and we received a portion of rice with each meal. Also, our waitress never returned to offer refills on our drinks. Otherwise, we enjoyed our experience at Korea House and would return to try some other menu items.

    Look at that crispy rice!

I wish there was a 6 star option! First time eating here and it was an EXPERIENCE. The kind of food where you never want the meal to end. Best Korean food I've had in a looong time. Can't wait to go back!

Does anyone know how they feel about tipping? Is it included in the price of the food like most traditional Korean restarurants? I know this is America and leaving a tip is norm, but I feel weird and don't won't be rude since they are so traditional

It's not included in the price, as far as I know. We've left decent tips each time. Do what makes you feel comfortable, or clarify with your server before finalizing the check.

I had a power dinner with a friend who is coming into my business... it was his first time eating Korean food, and Onda blew him away ! We started with a seafood pancake, which we split ...absolutely delicious ~ with a nice dipping sauce on the side Drinks from the bar were very nicely prepared Then we moved on to the best Kalbi I have ever eaten in my life and I've eaten a lot of Kalbi even in LA!! They call it LA Kalbi here. Being a business dinner I sure wanted to impress so I also ordered a plate of beef, Bulgogi and spicy pork Bulgogi both ROCKED ~ all three meats came out on sizzling iron plates All of the sides were as good as anything I've ever had, including the kimchi, which was extra special This is a VERY Classy, upscale, wonderful Korean restaurant with food that is impossibly good ! By the way, it's full of Koreans ..and a couple White folks. so that's always a good sign !!

The flavor was really well balanced! I had just the right amount of spice without being overwhelming, paired with a subtle sweetness that made it super enjoyable to keep eating. It came out on a sizzling plate, which not only kept everything hot but also added a nice touch to the presentation and overall experience. The portion size was very generous, which I always appreciate. I ended up having enough leftovers for lunch the next day, and it held up really well! The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice, comfortable atmosphere. Nothing over the top, but definitely a place you can sit down and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. That said, the experience wasn't perfect. The side dishes were a bit limited compared to what I was expecting, especially if you're used to a wider variety. Service was also on the slower side. The staff was friendly and polite, but it did take a few attempts to get their attention when I needed a water refill or wanted a to-go box. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but it's something that could definitely be improved. Overall, I'd still recommend Onda if you're looking for flavorful Korean dishes and generous portions. Just be prepared for a more relaxed pace of service. I'd come back again, especially for that spicy pork bulgogi!

That my friend, is a whole fucking lot!! I am more full of myself than you could possibly imagine. I loved these particular chicken wings a little more than life. The Soup Dumplings were just as amazing, but the Roti Canai (Malaysian flatbreads with curry sauce) stole the show. The curry was rich with the perfect amount of spice. You're missing out if you skip the appetizers here. For my entrée, I ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup, and all I can say is wow. The broth and tender wontons were the perfect combination. My boyfriend loved his Pad Thai as well, and the only downside was the portion size for the price. I want to give a huge shoutout to our server, Jaylen, for making the experience top-notch. He was incredibly attentive, patient, and offered great recommendations through the night. Hawkers is on my list for date nights, ladies' nights, or a casual evening out (especially for drinks and appetizers!)
