Nellore Karam dosa
Akshay S.

A mediocre south Indian food truck. First of all, there is no Sambar. Although it is common in some south indian states to eat dosa without sambar, for me it was the first turn-off. The babai dosa was decent and tasted like ghee podi onion dosa. The nellore karam dosa was underwhelming. It was a dosa stuffed with a spicy chutney. And that's about it, it was just spicy with hardly any flavour. The chutney that was served with the dosa was the peanut one and not the coconut one. That could be a deal breaker for some as well. The tea is free and unlimited. Definitely did not live up to its hype. It's a proper food truck so expect limited seating. Service is okay. Nothing to say about ambience..

Chicken dosa
Tay H.

I was excited to give this new Indian food truck a try. They specialize in Dosas and only offer about 5 or 6 choices. There are also a couple of Kathi roll options as well as an older gentleman who stands outside of the truck serving Panipuri. Apparently there is also complimentary chai but there was none when I arrived. There was however quite a bit of a crowd at night as this truck is open late. I think the rush of orders made him rush thru cooking the dosas because none of them looked to be crispy at all. They all looked kind of just mushy and soft. My chicken dosa had the texture of Ethiopian Injera bread. The chicken was also way too salty. Mango lasi was good. I could see potential for 4 stars. The lot this truck is located in is very easy to find and Rose Hill area is a beautiful neighborhood. Love the music and hanging lights in the summer time. But the food needs work sir. Dosas are supposed to satisfy with a crunch....

Too much karam on the dosas. No taste and the pachidi didn't taste good either. Just hype folks.

Taqueria Guadalajara is my favorite taco spot on Eastside, if not so far in Seattle. I have been to…read morethis taco food truck numerous times last year and a half, vistin during week days, weekends, holidays - during day time, night time, etc. And I can say that every time that I have been here, the food has slapped! Located in the lot of a 76 gas station, this food truck may look unsuspecting, but serves up some delicious tacos at an affordable price. It's convenient too! Located near a Fred Meyer and a Asian Family Market, you can get your groceries and then you can fill up your car and eat some bomb tacos right after! There are so lots just around the gas station that people have parked at just to get these tacos. Service is fast, you place your order at the window, and you will get your tacos in 5-10 minutes. You will get your order on a paper plate, which usually means the food will be amazing or bad - luckily in this case, it's amazing. The tacos themselves are no frills and are juicy, flavorful, and very pleasant in terms of texture to eat. Though I have tried every other option they had for filling - I am a big fan of their lengua and their cabeza! Their lengua is tender and diced into soft bite-sized pieces, and gives a fall apart meaty texture. The cabeza is rich and melts away as you chew it, with some scrumptious leaner pieces of the meat that give the taco some integrity so it allows for you to feel the decadence and then give you something solid to hold onto - it's great. The meat themselves aren't salted very much, but still have a delicious subtle aromatic taste to them. They are complimented very nicely by the salsas they have - a salsa verde, and a spicier salsa that is made with habanero - I could easily down 5-6 tacos every time I have visited. You will probably spend $2-3 per taco depending on what cut of meat you want - I feel that the tacos are priced very fairly priced vs. the average taco you can get in Seattle currently. Not many other reviews have mentioned this - but I have also tried their Sweet Corn Tamales for $3. Their tamales are great! They are the perfect amount of sweetness and give a forward sweet corn flavor. The texture is exactly like eating a slightly sweeter corn bread. A very affordable price for a dessert where most desserts (especially tamales) cost $6-$8. This is one of the few food trucks that I have been to where not only is the food good, but the prices are what you would expect tacos to cost. I don't think I can write more about how great this Food Truck is, as the tacos here are definitely ranked the top in my mind for tacos I've tried here in Seattle so far. I would recommend if you are in the Overlake Shopping Area to check this place out!

IMPORTANT NOTE. The gas station lot they were parked in is gone as it is under construction. I…read morethink a car wash is coming in. However good news - look directly across the street and you will find it. it is one of the better taco trucks and OMG they are the nicest and most mellow folks running it these days. Very convienient.

I stepped up on my turn and ordered a Three Pigs burger - Single patty, lettuce, maple aioli and slices bacon. It was surprisingly sweet and held together nice. Also, a side of fries which are alright, nothing too outstanding. I'd absolutely get burgers from them again, particularly because by the time I approached the truck several of their other specialty burgers were sold out which include "The King" burger which as won an award and features peanut butter and raspberry jam and the "Cryfecta" which includes jalapeno's giving it some spice. Look for Stacks being at an event out of their truck you attend around Seattle.

I heard all the negative things (putting it nicely) that you were saying about the order in front of me. Your customer service was short and curt. Not sure if you were having a bad day or if you were overwhelmed but your attitude definitely indicated as such. You had such a snotty attitude for the couple that simply asked for a bun. You just weren't nice. I almost left the line but again it had nothing to do with the food.

This burger was so good. Note that it's a tall stack. I had to squish the buns together to make this bite-able.

I don't often get any Mexican food on the Eastside since I just haven't found a good one yet. And sadly, I have to admit that I still have not found any worth the drive across the lake. I ordered one of their burritos, hefty pricing but that's what you'd expect on this side of town. Not the heftiest burrito though for its price, but filling enough. Taste wise it was as a Yelp 3 Star describes, "OK". I've had a lot of Mexican food across the whole West Coast, and this one isn't any special. But of course I will have to try again another day.

I haven't had a ton of horchata but I thought it was delicious. It was a balanced sweet and spiced, 5/5. I could see it being a little too sweet for some people but I personally loved it The godfather burrito wasn't anything too special, but the ingredients all felt high quality, 3.5/5 I love a chunky guacamole and this was quite smooth. It lacked flavor other than avocado but was clearly fresh, 2/5

The steamed bun was alright, the bun itself was a little boring; I'm used to fluffier buns with a tiny hint of sweetness to the buns. The spicy beef filling wasn't too bad. The beef was a dollar more than the other fillings. The Chicken Karaage were 5 pieces for $10, and we got more than 5, because they were random sizes, and some were really small. I sampled the passion fruit tea and ended up ordering it because it has no added sugar with perfect but of bitterness from the tea without the acidity. The fried mochi balls/jing dui were the best ones I've had yet! I feel like small ones are hard to perfect but this was so crispy on the exterior, not overly oily, perfectly sweetened and balanced by the nuttiness of the sesame seeds. The shu mai was also top tier as it was packed with so much pork and shrimp, no fillers detected like flour or anything! So juicy and flavorful and paired excellent with the Lao gan ma-like chili oil they provided. I hope they come to farmer markets closer to Seattle!
