Located in the cool little public market of downtown Redlands is a little restaurant in a building of restaurants. It's located just a couple feet past the entrance. Lots of seating and we got lucky w a live band in the patio. FYI parking is a little hectic there. Everyone was very nice, from the cashier to the manger as we ordered. Here are the items we tried out: Mac n Cheese: nice texture, good portion, great truffle flavor Not over powering. 8/10. Loaded fries: these were really good! Big, thick cut fries, nacho cheese, slaw, house sauce, chicken and pickles. Next time I would probably do without the cheese. Baba's hot chicken sandwich: tender, juicy, mild heat, they put a little too much slaw which took away from flavor, but still smashed it. All in all, it was good, not outstanding. I will definitely be back to give another try

Food was great and service was fast. Restaurant is located inside the Redlands Public Market. Many seats available and the ambiance is very social as the Market can get packed. Food arrived after 10 mins from ordering. The Mild spicy level is pretty spicy. Would recommend this place! Mini Chicken Sandwich: 4.5/5 Mini Loaded Fry: 4.5/5 Cup of Mac & Cheese: 4/5

We came to the Redlands Public Market for a date night. Street parking in front of the market is free for 90 minutes, but it does get full quickly, especially during dinner time. We recommend parking at the parking structure a block away, which is also free! Overall, there were a lot of options, so it's perfect for a group outing when everyone's craving different things. We got the mild chicken sandwich with a side of grilled cheese. I thought it was pretty cool that they had a variety of side options. Overall, we felt the food was a little underwhelming. The chicken sandwich looks crispy, but the flavors weren't all there. Perhaps we should've gotten a spicier version. The grilled cheese is a little misleading since the cheese wasn't very melted. It tasted all right. Overall, was a good experience to try, but I think the other options at the market are better fit for us.

Ba Ba Ba! Ba Ba Barang! It ain't nothing but a chicken thang! After my first bite I was like Oh Dang! Best believe I don't jive and you know this Maaan! After years of not having chicken sandwiches this one has definitely caught my attention. I went with a Mini Baba just to try it out and I was surprised. The tender was nice and juicy and the bun soft topped with that secret sauce, oh yeah. This was really good and now I know to get the regular for next time. We also tried the loaded fries which were legit. It had chopped chicken, coleslaw, the signature sauce on top on crinkle cut fries. Oh Yeah I'm definitely getting these again. The service was good and the seating is shared with the food hall. And that's my take on this shop, Peace out

Came here for a lunch date with the wife. Its inside of the public market. Which is similar to the Packing house in Redlands or Haven City Market in Rancho. Parking is a nightmare. Fortunately we were able to snag one of the street parking spots. Their menu isnt very expansive. They have basically 1 sandwhich. The mini version doesn't count as another burger. They chicken tenders here. And a whole bunch of sides including Mac and cheese, loaded fries, fries, grilled cheese, pickle spears and extra nachos cheese. They have 4 different heat levels. We ordered the majority of things as mild and 1 as hot. Unfortunately we couldn't tell the difference between three two different heat levels. It was all the same. We got their Baba sandwhich, mac and cheese, 5 piece nuggets and loaded fries. They shoot you a text message once your food is ready for pick up. The sandwhich was nice and crunchy. Chicken was not dry at all. OK flavors. The fries were definitely loaded. Very heavy. And the Mac and cheese was nice and creamy. The nuggets were nice and crunchy but also very tender white meat. They were my favorite of all the things we ordered. Pricing here is expensive. Premium pricing for just below premium food. Afterwards though I was really bloated. Was like that for about 3 days which was not fun. Was it from Baba's? Not 100% sure. But it was right after eating here. So maybe. Overall, there's so many other places to eat, not only here in the Public Market but in Redlands in general that I dont think I'll be back here again....

Need a quick hearty bite? This is the place! Came here for a Yelp event and it was amazing. The service was quick and friendly and the girl really helped me out as I had no idea what to order. The food was delicious, gonna be honest, I don't believe in chicken being a going out food choice, but I'm pleasantly surprised.. there was a couple spice leveled to choose from, I got the mild and it was great! The sandwich was a mini and it was a great personal size, not sure I could eat a regular as they are GENEROUS with their portion. The Mac n cheese was also soo good, it's definitely on the garlic side, so if you don't like garlic, maybe pass on these but it's still soo good! The fries were my favorite as it was the same chicken sandwich tender but on a fry! The sauce, the cheese the cabbage.. ugh I want more writing this.. this restaurant is located inside the Redlands Public market, so it is food court style inside, plenty of open seating. Since it's the market I'm not to sure in parking, I lucked out and got parking right in front but idk where else you could park as the theater is directly in front and states no market parking.. anyways it was good! I would definitely be coming back.

Hot sandwich was not spicy at all and the chicken was really greasy. The fried pickles were over fried and completely dry.

Over breaded chicken and the breading on the pickles just fell off. Nothing tasted fresh dry chicken .will not be going back.

Best fried chicken in the IE, crunchy, made fresh and lots of options…read more I bought the whole chicken two flavors, kimchi fried rice, honey garlic wings. I don't mind waiting for fresh, super hot food. The cashier was super friendly and helpful. I'm not a big fan of fried chicken but this chicken is so unique and worth the drive (I live in moval) I forgot to take pictures of the food because I was stuffing my face ;)

I'm taking one star off for how long the food can take!…read more We ordered a small (8 piece) boneless chicken ($16.99) and a bulgogi rice bowl ($15.99) and the host told us the order would take 15 - 20 minutes (TLDR - it took over 40 minutes to get our chicken). They definitely had a back log of To Go orders, while we were the only party dining in. Prices are comparable to other Korean chicken places, but that means they're on the high side in general. The rice bowl was ready in ~10 minutes and they held it for another 5-7 minutes before asking if we wanted to start with that first. We started with that and 35 minutes after ordering, the host gave us a free order of wings (supposedly an order that no one had picked up, so who knows how long that had been sitting around!). But the gesture was appreciated. 5 minutes later, our original chicken order was delivered. 40+ minutes in total! I would have been ok if they had warned us up front, but then again, we might have left to go somewhere else. This is definitely the highest rated fast casual food in the area, and the food backed it up. Just be prepared to wait!

The Wait & Pro-Tip: Because they seem to make things to order, it can take a bit of time. I waited about 20 minutes for an order of 8 spring rolls and two steamed meat buns. Pro-Tip: Definitely call ahead with your order if you're on a tight schedule! The Food: The Steamed Meat Buns are excellent and very traditional, filled with pork, Vietnamese sausage, and both quail and salted eggs. The spring rolls were also very fresh. Vibe & Value: The interior has a cool atmosphere with murals and a fish tank, though the wall clock is currently "stuck in time" (broken). Savings: They offer a 3% discount for cash payments, and they also accept EBT, which is a great service for the area. Overall, it's a great local gem for authentic Vietnamese food. Just plan for the wait or call it in!
