Normally I do all the holiday cooking; however, after experiencing the taste BBQ from Bada Bing, my husband and I decided to order a pan of BBQ chicken to accompany our meal on Easter Sunday. My husband ordered and picked up the chicken on the Friday before Easter. This was one of the best decisions made!!! Bada Bing you outdid yourself!!! My family thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ!!! It was very tasty, the sauce was outstanding (I'm a sauce critic). We plan to order another pan for Memorial Day. Yum!!!

I really nice potion of food. Nice taste. Sweet sauce not spicy. Good

Ba-da-Bing is a hidden gem for real St. Louis barbecue. It's strictly takeout. Parking is an issue.

This place is the bomb... I would say the best tip is to call your order in but either way, it's ready for you in less than 10 mins.

Im from North so  it's on the Northside. Lol  Either way,  I finally decide to stop on thru and was rewarded with some very good tasting food.  They are known for their homemade ice cream and for selling breakfast all day during their operation hours  (as of this review, they are closed on Sundays and Mondays)  On the day I went it was too hot for me to get ice cream as a togo item so I got : Breakfast plate with  salmon Croquet 3.5/ 5:  2  nice sized  patties that were well seasoned ( too well season for me but I can see how the majority of their customer base would like them this way. Egg over easy 3/5  good but the yolks wasn't running like it supposed to be Potatoes 5/5 smothered potatoes; best ever I had from a restaurant hands down  Wheat toast; 3/5  I would have prefer white bread. Im going to ask next time if white is an option.  Plain Stirfry : 5/5 noodles and sauce were on point .portion size was huge  They have a loyal  neighborhood customer base and the food is cooked to order; so there will be a wait time. If you are on the North, check out Ari's !!

We were on a tight schedule, so we got it takeout. We got a combo platter to share, and everything was really good. Pretty standard meats. One stand-out, though, were the smoked wings. I totally recommend those. Just enough smoke flavor, tender and fall of the bone, these were excellent wings. As for what really set this place apart, it was the sides. Extra special, above and beyond sides. Pit Beans with Smoked Bacon that were so perfect. Softer than whole beans, but more bite than refried beans. Just the perfect balance, and with nice, hearty chunks of that bacon. And then, the White Cheddar Cracker Mac. You could absolutely taste the white cheddar here. Very unique compared to everywhere else's mac. And they used shells, so inside most shells was a nice little pocket explosion of that cheddar. And if that wasn't enough, it was topped with crumbled butter crackers that added a pop of crunch and salt that really made this my favorite mac 'n' cheese of all time. I'm not kidding. Also, side note, not sure if this will work for you, but at the takeout station, I asked for one of each sauce, and they gave me two of each! Astounding customer service. I kept most of them and am still using them to this day. Overall, the unavoidable cycle of life for good BBQ joints is be good, open more locations, open too many locations, become bad. That's just the way it goes. But right now, Salt + Smoke is still in the be good phase. I was very happy and would definitely come back.

Historically, you found Nixta more than solid in both food and drinks. For example, their grilled octopus remains a highlight, light but flavorful, and still a reliable choice but their overall execution has definitely declined, sadly. They do have a cocktail menu that's quite good, though you missed the mezcalitas they once offered. The service on our recent visit was a major letdown. Even on a quiet Thursday night with only one other table present, the staff didn't show much engagement or interest in guiding us through the menu. This lack of attentiveness was disappointing, especially since the restaurant was nearly empty. In the past, I would have rated Nixta very highly, but now I'd place it around three/four stars due to the service issues. In summary, the food remains good, but unless the service improves, it's hard to wholeheartedly recommend it for a full dining experience.

First of all, the place is classy that I was too embarrassed to take photos and will have to rely on words alone to describe my dining experience. We had a 6pm reservation and we were seated promptly at a corner table. The place has a romantic vibe and the noise level was low. Perfect for when you want to dine in peace. Our waitee came over shortly to take our drink orders. They gave us 2 different menu versions as mine didn't have the prices but his did. I had a glass of cabernet and my husband had a nice cocktail to start. We shared the crab cake (pan seared, with citrus salad, lemon remulade and pickeld red onions. My husband also got the French onion soup because he likes French onion soup and he said it was great. The crab cakes were delicious and flavorful. I enjoyed every bite! I had the ribeye prepared medium rare and my husband had the salmon. We also ordered the brussel sprouts and creamed spinach sides to share which were all lovely and well seasoned. My steak was prepared the way I asked for it to be and our dinner proceeded smoothly. Our waiter came and checked on us regularly to make sure we were well tended to and got us another round of drinks. I was unfortunately too full for dessert which is unusual as I always try to have dessert on Friday nights. However, getting full on a fantastic meal was not something I regretted. And I had leftovers for the weekend as well! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Tenderloin Room except that I cannot wait to return and have more of their delicious steak!
