You know they are beef because you can see it and the texture says beef, but beyond that they really have no flavor. This was a "just OK" experience for both of us. It's a win win for them to keep their staff employees and kitchens making money. That said, I had heard about it but never came across one till traveling through Ames. It was a fantastic burger, like a legit, wish this was around everywhere, I would eat this once a week, burger. The patties are those smashed and chard burgers that have all kinds of texture and are made for stacking. They were seasoned fantastically and the whole thing worked nicely. I looked at the floor and there's a drain right under the table. Likely needs to have water poured in to prevent the sewer gas from stinking up the place.
