So I'm building the most awesome Chevy high top, long wheelbase, 1 ton dually van. Using the car-part.com app I found exactly what I'm looking for. Reasonably priced. The only obstacle is it's 2200 miles away. In Chehalis, Washington. So because of the nature of buying things over the Internet I called spoke with a sales person. I had a few questions in regards to its current condition and requested a few pictures. Knowing of the bad reviews and poor customer service I took extra care to remain polite and professional. Once I receive those pictures that brought up a few more questions that I had. And a desire for a few more pictures. Basically I was told over the phone by the sales person. I was asking too many questions and I needed to either put a deposit down or pay for it before any further questions would be answered. So the following day I call back to follow up and was told that she has not received anything yet. But she'll get back to me. The next day I followed up again and I did not speak to the sales person I spoke to another sales person who said that my original sales person is working on it. I know runaround when I see it. So because B&R are able to track Who is calling by phone number. So I used a different phone this time and talked to a completely different sales man named Mitch. Mitch is a Sales rockstar. He answered every question I had, and responded to my emails in a timely manner and did not pass me off to someone else. I paid for the part and he assured me it would be ready when I arrive. So today December 1, 2017 I arrived right as B&R was opening. Jim was the guy who helped me out through the whole process of loading up. The reason I stuck with this company and this part is because it's like finding a diamond in a junkyard.
I trust they will do what they find appropriate with those 2 sales people. In the end it doesn't matter. I got my part and made it home.
I would've rated ***** if it wasn't for those sales people. Maybe they're wealthy and don't need the commission. read more
