Carne asade taco

Great customer service the lady at the counter was super friendly and gave great recommendations I wish I got her name. There is so much seating available here which is nice indoor, bar area seating and outdoors as well. Always nice to have options. We got the steak and shrimp burrito which was really good and seasoned well! The ceviche was also really refreshing on this hot day today. Def need to go back and try more food

Delicious food! I was most impressed that their rolled tacos were made fresh and not frozen. The chips and salsa bar were a hit! Service was swift. We had a big group and we ate well!

The chicken tacos are pretty small for being $6.98 each. I remember them being bigger a few years ago. I do like the salsa bar though. I guess I will have to review the menu to find the best bang for the buck.

Authentic Mexican food! They make their own tortillas and it's fun to watch as they roll them out and warm them on the flat grill. Their salsas are fresh and authentic, at least I think so! My most favorite thing from here is their beef rolled tacos, which are three oversized taquitos stuffed with shredded beef and deep fried to a perfect crispness, smothered in shredded lettuce, white cheese, and topped with their homemade guacamole (I pass on the sour cream and ask for extra guacamole). Several years ago they added on a bar area with additional seating. That's a nice option for eat in and to enjoy a beer or cocktail. Good food, good service, comfy dine in and also a small patio area.

Get the Aztek Burrito you will not be disappointed! Big enough to share with chips and guacamole.

Salsa bar!

Great tasting tacos! Handmade tortillas, salsa bar and deliciously marinated carne! This place and Los Tacos fight for the top spot in this area in my opinion! If you're in the area it's worth checking out if you're craving a taste of good Mexican tacos! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Wednesday, 12-17-2024: We came here as a party of five (our grandson with his mom & dad and us, Papa & Yaya) after our grandson's recital. It wasn't too crowded when we entered so I made sure to secure a table ASAP. It's a good thing I did because we had beat the crowd. The eatery is on the small side but it's very clean and the exposed ducting gives it an industrial feel. Our food came out quickly and we found everything to be so flavorful! My Chile Relleno was made well and I savored it! Their chips were very good and we enjoyed the variety of salsas from their salsa bar. The staff were very nice and friendly. We really enjoy their food and have been here in the past. I can't believe I didn't write a review before. This post is definitely overdue!

Probably not. But the food is solid, reliable, and always enjoyable, which is exactly why I keep coming back. Now, if you're a fan of drinks, music, and a festive atmosphere, this place definitely brings the party. It has that lively, colorful Mexican restaurant vibe, and I personally love that they have live music on certain days. My little one and I especially enjoy sitting outside in their enclosed patio area. It's such a nice little setup! Depending on the day and time, it can get pretty packed, but I've honestly never had a bad experience here. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is fun, and the food is something you can count on. So no, I'm not going to crown Guadalajara the king of all Mexican food--but sometimes you don't need culinary fireworks. Sometimes you just want good food, a fun atmosphere, some music, and a place that consistently delivers. And Guadalajara does exactly that.

Yesterday was my second time at Espandín. Let's start off with the environment. Espandín is located…read morein Old Town Temecula and has a central location on the corner. With that being said, parking can be difficult because Old Town tends to get very busy on a Saturday. We walked in and it was not busy. The host/server told us to pick any table we would like. We chose outside, but they had just cleaned up the area, so our chairs were stacked. The host/server quickly helped us get the chairs down and place them at our table. The server was attentive and kept checking in on us. Now the food. When we were sat down, we were given complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were perfect and not overly salty or greasy. The salsa was very mild and had a great flavor. I ordered a 2 taco combo plate ($14.95) with carne asada and carnitas. The carne asada was just okay, it was cut into thicker piece, which is not my preference. It was also topped with guacamole, which was not the best I've had. The carnitas however were magnificent topped with pickled onions, cilantro, and salsa. The rice was not traditional Mexican rice and did have a bit of a crunch to it rather than a toast before cooking. The beans were just plain pinto beans, not refried beans, but they were good. While this place, is not extremely traditional, it is a great spot in Old Town Temecula with fairly good food. I'm looking forward to coming back again.

I noticed Espadín had tables and thought it was worth a shot. Also, it was getting really hot and I was ready for some air conditioning. We were seated immediately and our server got our drinks. We ordered a grilled Caesar salad, green chilaquiles with eggs, and guacamole. The guacamole was so fresh and had a great lime flavor. The grilled Caesar was the star of the show! The dressing was amazing. The chilaquiles were also good. I was a little nervous at first since they weren't busy when we walked in compared to the other restaurants on the street, but it ended up being a great surprise how good everything was!

Just had yet another amazing and delicious meal at The Mexico Cafe…read more.. Conveniently located just down the road from Pechanga Resort and Casino... Walking in we were blown away by the awesome Halloween decorations located throughout the restaurant....from werewolves, to ghost pups to a Pirates Caribbean attraction in the middle of the restaurant! Say What!!! And I haven't even gotten to the excellent service and muy delicious food yet... After experiencing the liking of the coolest haunted house on the block, we were welcomed in like family by the lovely hostess, Taytum, who walked us to our booth.... With a quick glance at the menu (truthfully, everything on the menu is "Excellente"), we were greeted by the beautiful server, Briana, and a master server, Beto... Beto's humor, experience and knowledgeable put us at ease, knowing we were definitely going to have a great lunch experience! My better half had the lunch special, an incredible amount of delicious Mexican cuisine, including a non-alcoholic drink, all for an incredible price! I had the Burrito Al Pastor, deluxe or "wet" style if you will, topped with their homemade tomatillo sauce....Unbelievably tasty and such a big portion, I took the rest home for dinner... Thanks to Beto and Briana, our drinks were never empty..(I didn't know I could hold 5 ice teas ;) The food was simply scrumptious and flavorful... Did I mention yet another plus to The Mexico Cafe? It's family owned and operated since 1951 (their San Bernardino location) I had the honor this visit to speak to one of the owner's family members, he was humble and thankful as I complimented the restaurant... I've seen him before pitching in bussing tables and serving food....The family is still very actively involved, and that part of why this restaurant is such a long standing success... The ultra-cool atmosphere, sensational service and yummy (don't tell the fellas I used that term ;) food make The Mexico Cafe a 5-Star experience!! Highly Recommend! Support small businesses If your chillin at nearby Pechanga Casino, or even within an hours drive of this place you must go... Go now, for lunch, dinner, or Sunday buffet...You'll have a blast and thank me! Kudos to Taytum, Beto & Briana !!

I do wish the meat chunks were smaller, and I wish the portion was larger, because it is delicious. I've also gotten the 1/2 Colorado 1/2 verse plate and that was fire.
