This business was started by Howard Coates who ran an efficient and reliable business of cleaning and services pools for many years. In 2021 he sold his business to Brian Crawford who took over the clientele and pools. For the first year, service was reliable and Brian was quick to respond to questions. In June of 2022, service quality took a nose dive right around the same time as the regular pool service person left the company. Then in July 2022, pool service completely stopped. Unannounced. No warnings. No messages. Nothing. Many in our neighborhood called, texted and emailed and no one received a response from Brian. At first we were worried that something happened. Then we heard he was still servicing pools in Ahwatukee. Now we were all pretty pissed especially considering our pools were turning green and no one was helping. He basically decided our area wasn't worth servicing anymore. Which is fine. But to totally and completely leave everyone high and dry is Bs. And to not respond or explain why he was leaving our area and instead leave everyone with multiple hundreds of dollars in fixes to get our pools clean in the heat of the Summer. BS. Do not use AZPoolExpert. The new owner doesn't know what he's doing. He rarely responds to calls, emails or texts. If he responds he'll tell you he'll be there on a certain day and doesn't show up, doesn't call. Nothing my pool is green and he abandoned me. It's summer and I can't use my pool. There are many other pool servicers. AZPoolExpert changed ownership. You will not get good service with the new owner. Beware!!!! read more

Howard has been a God-send for me. He's picked up chlorine tablets for me after my shoulder surgeries, he brushes my pool during repairs just because he knows it's difficult for me, he is very good at his job and extremely kind, warm and personable. He is readily available and always seems to find a way to fit me in regardless of how busy his business and personal life are. He only does what's needed and doesn't "up sell." If I could give Howard a 100 star rating, I would. After calling several so called pool cleaning companies and not even get a courtesy callback I found Howard In the Ahwatukee newspaper. I called and left a message and he called me back the same day. He came back the next day and true to his word he never charged me for this. He answered all my questions and my problem was due to my human error. He showed me what I was doing wrong. He is so honest. I will definitely recommend him to all my friends with pools. read more
