This took 4 days and the install crew showed up on time and cleaned up each day and answered my question as I watched over everything. I was worried that my stucco might not come out right, but even that was on point. I also double-checked the windows at the end and the only thing I found was a casement window that was a little sticky to open and they quickly fixed it. Regarding the quote process, Tony was easy to work with, knowledgeable about their products, and revised my order several times as I worked out the final details. I had a few concerns, like making sure that when I replaced a narrow window at my front door that the frame would not be too thick, but it looks great. Also thanks to Debbie for checking after the job (and after I paid) to make sure I was still happy. Based on the job they did at my house, my neighbor is going to update their windows too.

About 1 hour later, 2 guys showed up with 3 sheets of plywood. They removed all the broken broken glass swept up, fit, cut and installed the plywood over the opening. All in a little over an hour.

OUR PICK: We called three glass companies and received three competitive estimates. We narrowed the choice to Dependable Glass in North Phoenix, for five reasons: 1. 4.9 Google rating; 2. 4.6 Yelp rating; 3. The professional and pleasant way they answered their phone; 4. They took adequate time to answer our questions about their products and services; 5. We were not rushed to make a purchase decision. THE ESTIMATOR: Dependable Glass sent John, the estimator, to our home to measure the subject window pane. He was on time, very friendly, spoke clearly, and answered all our questions without hesitation. Additionally, he assured us the installation would be performed only by Dependable Glass employees (not third-party installers). He also said the quality of work by the window installers would be A+ and come with guaranteed customer satisfaction. We received an all-inclusive price estimate that was straightforward and easy-to-read. Dependable Glass estimator guaranteed the price would not fluctuate before or during the window pane installation (no upselling). THE OFFICE: A few weeks after making a deposit, the replacement pane was delivered to Dependable Glass from the manufacturer. After that, I received a call from "MICHELLE" to select an installation date. Unfortunately, a couple of weeks before her call, my elderly wife suffered a severe in-home fall that required surgery and a hospital stay of nearly 30 days. I asked Michelle if it was possible to delay the installation until after my wife arrived home. To my pleasant surprise, Michelle said Dependable Glass would be happy to delay the installation for a month, or until we were ready. (That is GREAT service!) She verbalized her compassion about the falling accident, and that REALLY HELPED me during a difficult time. As promised, Michelle called back in 30 days to see if we were ready to book an installation date, and we were. THE INSTALLERS: The installers - James and Ethan - arrived on time, and they were well-prepared with all the required tools and components. They were one of the most pleasant installation teams I have every encountered. They were polite, respectful of the property, and they took the time to answer a few pre- and post-installation questions. James and Ethan went the "extra mile" with a special request. I wanted the large wooden Venetian blinds covering the subject window to be permanently removed before the new window pane was installed (I was unable to remove the heavy blinds due to physical disability). Without hesitation, James and Ethan completely removed the blinds for me (thank you!). After the pane was installed, the two gentlemen removed all stickers and washed the inside and outside glass to a beautiful shine. Wow! What a difference it makes to look at the backyard through clear, quality glass. WOULD WE USE DEPENDABLE GLASS AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THEM? Absolutely YES! We were very impressed with the entire process from start to finish. Everyone we spoke with at the company was pleasant and eager to provide us with excellent products and services. Everyone conveyed a feeling of "trust," which placed us at ease. Therefore, after today's installation, we had another large fogged-up window measured for replacement. They backed up the installation warranty and tore out the stucco and replaced it. Now the stucco is separating from the window and cracking where it meets the original stucco, also looks nothing like the original stucco. I have had 6 other windows replaced by a competitor and the stucco has not cracked or pulled away from the window. you can't even tell the windows have been replaced.

I am nearly 5 months in and I cannot get them to respond to email or phone calls and now have to chase them down through the credit card company. Stay away, I now see why they closed down their old business and started fresh last year.

We really wanted to like this company, especially after having seen some really good reviews here…read more Paul showed up on time, the estimate was competitive, and he seemed to understand what we wanted. Unfortunately, either he failed to communicate with his installers or he just doesn't know what he's doing. They didn't follow instructions, they permanently damaged our roof, and the installation was sloppy. Adding insult to injury, they don't stand behind their work or honor their warranty. There is so much wrong with this job i don't even know where to start. The one thing we asked for was no new perforations in the new roof. But instead of installing the gutter under the drip edge they made sloppy cuts into them (I'm guessing with a chain saw), and then put lots of screw holes in them. In order to cover the sloppy cuts up they had to move the gutter away from the fascia leaving an obvious twist. When I called them on this they claimed that they had to cut into the drip edge to do the install--even after I'd shared lots of examples of gutters under the drip edges of standing seam metal roofs, not behind them. At the back of the house the incompetent installation resulted in a gutter that is two inches higher than necessary, and so close to the shade structure above it that we can't even get our hands inside the to clean it. We did ask the registrar of contractors to have a look--but their position was that since the manufacturer's instructions didn't say anything about how to manage an existing drip edge, they couldn't say it was a "bad" install. Here are some photos that show the gutter in the front, the twist, and the bad cut into the drip edge. Our roofer tells us we can't replace the damaged drip edges without replacing a significant part of the roof.
