I came to Arizona Pool Supply because I was so frustrated with Leslie's and for a while it seemed to be better. Now the same guy who was rude at Leslie's is working here and he's just as rude. He likes to humiliate customers who don't know exactly what they want. "Well what number do you want? You have to know that!" He said to me. There was no suggestion of him helping me and talking to me about what I needed. I can appreciate that businesses have struggled during the Covid process. However, this business has failed to answer phone calls and return messages over a 20 day period regarding an Internet order. Assurances were made that this order was to be shipped within 48 hours after the order. To this date, I have been unable to reach anyone within the business and there's been no updates on the webpage. I have left to voicemail messages over the past 14 days and have yet to receive a reply. While I cannot speak for other customer expectations, I would predict most people would have the same feeling about my experience. read more

Unreliable and untrustworthy. Ordered an item from their website advertised as a 6 pack item - called for delivery status - response - vendor drop shipping - get call from male rep. Stating the item is 1 unit because the vendor price is for 1 unit. I know this is a lie since the vendor website (msrp) sells it for $100 less and the item is available online for $200 less. Poor Customer Service. I placed an order for a pool filter on 7/17/22. The website did not show the item out of stock. After a week not getting notified that the item shipped, I tried repeatedly to call customer service. No calls were answered or messages returned. I emailed a request for status update on 7/26. Finally, on 7/28 an email was received that the item was out of stock and the order was canceled. That is 11 days with no response or indication that the item will not be shipped. Extremely short handed of good workers though they are slowly getting control enough that I've revised my opinion from extremely uncertain to giving them a chance. I contacted this place for some pool supplies. It was a little hard to find, but worth the trip. When I asked a question that the person didn't know, she went to get the owner. Very friendly, and knowledgeable and didn't try to upsell me. They had what I needed, or could get it quickly and gave some other suggestions for things as well. No pressure, seemed fair, plenty of parking. I called a few weeks later, for a different part. They did not have it, but called a different store. Still did not have, so they told me they could order it and have it by Monday. I told them to go ahead. He then suggested that maybe I call a few stores to see if anyone might already have it. Well, a few minutes later, I did find the part and called back to cancel. They did and issued a refund to my credit card with no arguing, and still being professional. I wish I knew about the Scottsdale store sooner - never would have wasted so much time and energy trying to work with Leslie's all these years. AZ Pool offers genuine Hayward vac (and other brands) parts at half the price of Leslie's, and they're actually comparable to Amazon sellers. I came upon this store when I googled a part for a price match at Leslie's. The part was literally half the price at AZ Pool Supplies - but I made the mistake of having Leslie's install the part after price matching. After two trips back to Leslie's, and being told this morning that the person there was too busy to look at the vac after it sat at the store for more than a full day, I retrieved the vac and took it over to AZ Pool Supplies. BTW...too busy at Leslie's apparently means the lone employee in the empty store was standing at the counter and staring blankly out the front window. I took it right over to AZ Pool Supplies and Roger helped me. After a few hours, he called me and said he found one issue - which was a slightly loose part (yes - the one i just had leslie's replace). He tightened it...and the vac is working perfectly. No customer serevice at all. I ordered a pump from this company. the invoice states shipping will occur within 48 hours and an email with a tracking number would be sent. I never received the email so I called to check the status.. I was told it would be shipped the Mon or Tues of the following week. Never received the email again so I called again. I was told it had been shipped. I asked for a tracking number and was told an email would be sent in a few minutes with a tracking number. This never happened so I made another call. At that time I was told it had not shipped and that the warehouse refused to ship it. Remember I was just told a short time before it had been shipped. At this point, it is 8 days since ordering, I asked to cancel the order and get refunded. Now 2 days since cancelling PayPal has still not received refund notiice from this company. I would not order anything online from this company and would not suggest anyone else order either. I was never contacted by this company about any stock problems or shipping problems. I think when there is trouble with anything the seller should keep the buyer informed. Not good business. read more

Went to the store to get 2 in floor G4 Gamma heads and the tool to replace them. The bill came to $201. I paid it, and driving back to the southeast valley, i thought that seemed a lot. So when i got home i checked there website. I store they charged me $83 a piece and on the website it was $53 a piece. I called the store and asked them why the big difference in price, they said that you purchased it in store and if you purchased online you pay shipping. So if you have an order over $50 dollars, shipping is free. The lady came back on the phone and said there is nothing they can do. Sorry. However, FedEx lost it when it arrived in Memphis. These people are a joke. I placed an online order and paid 100 BUCKS for overnight shipping to get a pump for my pool in an emergency situation. They were quick to charge my credit card, but that was it. Overnight..no pump. Next day....no pump. Third day...no pump. Fourth day...no pump. All this time they failed to respond to numerous e-mails and voice messages. Finally FOUR DAYS later someone answered the phone and casually said "oh, we don't actually have that part". WHAT ???? Got ripped off. Needed a part immediately for my pool sweep. AZ Pool Supplies was nearest pool supply store to me. They had the part in stock so went there to buy it. There wasn't a price sticker on the packaging. The gentlemen went into the back of the store to ring up the sale, came back to the front and said the price was $52. I told him several Amazon sellers were asking $12 - $15 for the same part. He justified his price by saying he had a store to stock and Amazon sellers didn't. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this place. I ordered a part on June 1st ... It is Sept 30 and summer is now over in my part of the world. Still no part and no update from AZ. They were very quick to charge my card (even though they didn't have the part in stock) but, based on what I'm reading here, I doubt they will be so quick to refund me. I don't know what the issues are there; staffing and supply shortages are impacting ALL of us but they need to communicate with their clients. Avoid this company at all costs. I ordered pool stair rails and a few various smaller items on March 28, 2022. All items were listed as in stock on website. Also, Free shipping on orders $150+. I paid extra for 2-3 day shipping. When items had not arrived after 7 days (covid ship issues?) , I called az pool supply to inquire about items. I was told rail is on BO for 7-10 wks. Why did website list as in stock??? So i wait...wait...wait some more. In Mid may, i call for an eta on items. I email for update. I call. This goes on for 5 weeks. No one ever responded to my voicemails nor emails. It is now June 30. 3 months after order placed. i call sales line for placing orders... finally a real person answers phone. My rail is in stock but i need to pay a $200 freight charge. Website still states free ship over $150. Why a freight charge now? There wasn't a freight charge in march on invoice. CSR stated they have a disclaimer on website that heavier items may have an additional freight charge. I did not get a freight charge in March when placed order. Why now??? Rail price in March $350. Website lists step Rail price now at $600 and no mention of a freight charge. Is freight charge now built into price? I think they just didn't want to sell me rail at lower March price. Ordered replacement eyeball jets for my Paramount system. For some reason, they were too big for the existing collars. Sent e mail looking to return them and repurchase the full set x 6 (eyeball, collar, etc) which is almost 3 times what I originally paid. No response. They Suck. I ordered a raypack pressure switch by an actual PN. The part they sent was not a direct replacement. I subsequenty learned it needed adapter hardware to fit. When I called them they said "send it back". No offer to remedy the situation . I sent it back and they did not refund shipping and charged a restocking fee. It was their problem not mine I ordered the right PN. Proof they are in the wrong , a current search on that PN no longer yields it on their website. Nor does my review of that PN show. Very frustrated. I ordered (number 15681) and received an email that looked like a receipt for payment. 10 days later I wonder why I don't have my part so I go through the trouble to create an account and look into it. Ahhh it was never processed. No one bothered to reach out. I sent them an email and 3 days later still no response. I just called to cancel and confirm it is canceled and I learned that they were "waiting on the manufacturer" despite the website showing it was in stock.
