First time at Forks and Boards but certainly not our last. My daughter, her two kids and I arrived…read morearound 3 PM on a Thursday. The restaurant is attached to The Gamer's Guild game store, so we had fun shopping there first. The store has a huge selection of every game imaginable plus dozens of tables, free to play. They have an optional membership fee, which gets you discounts at various levels. We then traipsed over to the restaurant area for lunch/dinner. My daughter has celiac disease and the establishment was very sensitive to food allergies. They also supported neuro-diversity, which was great for my grandson. They also had several TV's going, kids menu games and a game library for free. My daughter got a Twisted Turkey Club, my granddaughter got kids Chicken Fingers and I got a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. All the orders came with fries. My grandson didn't eat. My daughter raved about her gluten free meal and my granddaughter just put her head down and plowed through her lunch. My sandwich was pretty good. I got the step-child of chicken pieces: it was pretty small. It still tasted fine and the regular fries were killer. The side sauces were legit as well. I recommend the bleu cheese and Gil's Buffalo sauce. We will visit again soon.

Would not recommend their pizza, it was sauce less, overcooked, and dry. Their burger was great, full of flavor and juicy but side of fries were luke-warm. A lot of room for improvement here and hopefully they get it together because it's a pretty cool spot to hang out and play board games.

We are still relatively new-ish to the USA (2+ years) so we are absolutely in for any new all American experience that we can get in. So we walked in and it was typical American bar (bros hanging all around) which is great. Exactly what we both really like. We sat at the bar because it was a quick in and out (25 mins at max) before the movie. Ordered a hazy IPA and an old fashioned. Bill was 20$ bucks (approx) which is decent. It was a Thursday evening and it was decently packed at 9:00 pm as well. My only and only shock (and this is a personal one) is the costume bar concept or whatever that is called. Only women were serving and they were dressed in the skimpiest of outfits which pretty much made it like they were on show. I felt uncomfortable but perhaps the next guy won't. So take this with a pinch of salt.

Get off your ass and MANAGE the situation. Tell your hostess to let people know things are a bit behind, give them the option. You would rather turn away ANY money rather than making at least drink money. Guess cold beers gets my parties money.
