I am writing this review from the perspective of a premed student, but hopefully this will be helpful to future patients who are considering coming here. I first met Dr. Khan while working as a student nurse. Out of the many doctors I've come across during my job, he was the only one who acknowledged me and asked about my name and background. While I observed his procedures, he happily answered my questions and even encouraged me to ask more. As a student, I was often overlooked by other doctors, but Dr. Khan treated me as a valued colleague--he extended this same respect and attentiveness to his patients as well. Dr. Khan's work not only immensely improves his patients' quality of life (how difficult would life be without our vision?), but he also demonstrates a level of compassion that not all physicians have. My mom always taught me that a true measure of a good person is how they treat someone beneath them--and Dr. Khan is an example of that. I was happy to share this encounter with her. Dr. Khan and his team also speak Spanish, so they are able to accommodate patients who may be limited in English. If anyone is looking for an ophthalmologist, I would highly recommend Dr. Khan's clinic! read more

Dr. Khan performed cataract surgery on both of my mother's eyes, and the results have truly been life-changing. She is absolutely ecstatic to be able to see clearly again. From our very first interaction, Dr. Khan was kind, professional, and incredibly patient. He took the time to thoroughly answer all of her questions and addressed every concern with compassion and reassurance. My mother was very nervous about undergoing the procedure, but Dr. Khan made her feel comfortable, informed, and confident in moving forward. We took my 97 year old grandpa to Dr. Khan for his cataract surgery. He attentively looked over my grandpa's eyes and due to his age, both his eyes needed that surgery, he explained the whole procedure to him. Once my grandpa has recovered from both surgery, his vision has improved and now is back to his reading after so many years of hardly seeing. The office staff were also nice and very pleasant to us. This review is only for their phones, and making appointments only. Not on Dr. Khan. With that being said, can't really know how good a doctor Dr. Khan is if you can't get thru on the phone to make appointments. left messages and were never returned. Tried texting, the responses are hot & cold. Bottom line is, after a week, I am still not confirmed for an appointment.... From the moment I walked in I was treated like another open wallet for him. I came in with extreme light sensitivity and their solution was to flash me with lights blinding me and immobilizing me. Then requesting money while I was blinded and crashing into things because they were trying to get me to go from room to room. He didn't even have the odasity to look me in the eye while telling me that he would be charging both me and my insurance before even knowing my situation. The whole building was scummy and I wouldn't be surprised if he was doing some sort of insurance fraud while still getting away with treating his clients like animals. I was so shocked by his mistreatment of me I had to leave blinded and crashing into multiple things on my way out. He should have his license revoked as he has already violated the oath to do no harm. read more

Dr Khan operated on both of my mothers eyes and removed the cataracts. She is ecstatic to be able to see again. She raves about how kind, professional and patient he was with her. Great doctor ! And I'm not saying it just cause he's my dad ! Primary eye doctor best doctor

August 18,2022. I had an appointment at 4:00. I got there 20 before to fill out paper because I was a new patient. I waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes before the doctor came back from his lunch. By then the 2 waiting rooms were filled with other patients. The doctor was extremely rude and looked agitated. He didn't even apologize for keeping everyone waiting. After he examined my eyes, he started asking me all these questions regarding my eyes. I told him I filled out a couple of paper when I got there ( with all the information he was asking me) he was a jerk with no manners. After the exam he asked me to go back in the waiting from because he wanted to check something else. I responded back " now I have to wait another 45 minutes " he yelled at me and told me to leave and never come back. I'm going to report Dr. Khan to my insurance company. I am 69 years old and before Dr Khan, I could barely see anything around me. My vision was so blurry that I could not even see my family's faces even though I was right in front of them. I was diagnosed with cataracts and I had tremendous anxiety because I was very scared of the lens replacement surgery, but after meeting with Dr. Khan, he reinsured me that my eyes would not be damaged, and that I would be okay. The procedure was so quick and easy that I fell asleep during it and to my surprise, my vision had returned. I am extremely grateful and can't wait to get my second lens replaced by Dr. Khan. This is Remedios and would like to recommend Dr. Ayaz Khan to those who need cataract surgery. He is an excellent eye doctor. At my first meeting with him, he did a thorough eye exam and explained that since I have cataracts on both eyes, I need surgery. He informed me about the different kinds of intra ocular lens and made me choose what I wanted. On the date of the surgery I was quite scared because it is an invasive procedure. HOWEVER, I did not feel anything, no pain -nothing and his hands have a very, very light touch that I didn't feel he was doing something on my eye. I am very glad I have him as my eye doctor who is an expert in this field. Dr. Khan's staff are also very good. Stephanie is just his great partner, very conscientious in her job as assistant and very approachable. Dr. khan's technicians are also wonderful in doing their work. VERY COMMENDABLE to anyone who needs cataract surgery and an eye doctor. Thanks, Dr. khan and your staff!!! read more
