I recently had the pleasure of dining at Awsom Wings, and it was an absolute delight for my taste buds! From the moment I stepped in, the inviting aroma of spices set the stage for a memorable experience. The menu boasts an impressive array of wing flavors, each more enticing than the last. I opted for a mix of classic Buffalo and the house-special Garlic Parmesan. The Buffalo wings had the perfect balance of heat and tang, leaving me craving more with every bite. The Garlic Parmesan, on the other hand, offered a rich and savory experience that had me savoring every moment. What truly sets Awsom Wings apart is their commitment to quality. The wings were cooked to perfection--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The accompanying dipping sauces were a delightful addition, complementing the flavors without overpowering them. The ambiance is casual and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a laid-back meal with friends or family. The staff was friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. Prices are reasonable for the generous portions you receive, making it a great value for your money. Whether you're a wing connoisseur or just looking for a tasty meal, Awsom Wings is a must-visit. I left with a satisfied palate and a craving to return for more wing adventures. This place has undoubtedly earned its spot as my go-to wing joint! read more

**If you have kids, I would seriously think twice before coming here.** Our experience was extremely disappointing and, quite frankly, insulting. We walked in as a party of five and were immediately directed to a cramped, one-sided bench, even though there was a perfectly good-sized table available. When I asked why we couldn't sit at that table, we were told, **"That table is for groups of six."** So instead of comfortably seating a party of five at an empty table, they wanted us squeezed onto a bench. We decided not to stay and took our business elsewhere. As we were walking out, I overheard what appeared to be the manager and another server say, **"Our floors are clean, I don't need no kids here."** Honestly, WOW. Whether that comment was directed at us or not, saying something like that within earshot of customers is incredibly unprofessional and gives a very clear impression that families with children are not welcome. We came in ready to spend our money and left feeling completely unwelcome. **If children are such an inconvenience to this restaurant, then maybe they should make that policy clear at the door instead of treating families poorly.** **We definitely won't be coming back, and I'll gladly spend my money somewhere that actually respects and welcomes families.** read more

AWSOM Wings is my favorite wing spot to go to. Their wings are always so fresh and they have never gotten my order wrong! As some may know this is key if you're a wings lover like I am (having your order perfect each and every single time ) the last time I came what I ordered was a perfect combination for my cravings but today I couldn't remember exactly what all I got... I wanted to recreate that moment so when I called, I spoke to a nice young lady named Alonna who was able to pull up my past orders with just my phone number. I thought it was crazy AWSOM because I never knew they were capable of doing so. Alonna helped me get my perfect order which consists of 16 wings (half atomic/half spicy bbq, with two sides of atomic, extra wet, a large blue cheese, and a side Caesar salad for good measure lol) and yessss I love the atomic because as a wing lover you can only imagine at this point of eating hot wings for years what my palate can handle anywho head to Whittier for some AWSOM wings and ask for Alonna she was super sweet and helpful !!! read more

Came by tonight to get takeout dinner and try Alondra's for the first time. Waited about 10 minutes standing infront of the receiving stand until someone talked to us. We went to the cashier to order takeout and the cashier assisted someone else first even though we were there first because they were only picking up. That took another 15 minutes. Finally got to order, got our order in about 25 minutes, and went home. The fact that it took us 50 minutes just to take something out was pretty ridiculous, but it happens. When we got home, which was a 10 minute drive, the fries were already soggy. The jalapeno poppers were stale. The mild chicken wings were really plain. The onion rings were okay. The honey bbq wings were okay. The only forgivable thing we ordered was the philly cheesesteak. And they only gave us 1 ranch for everything ordered. Sorry, Buffalo Wild Wings, I have betrayed you. I deeply regret it. read more

If I could give AWSOM Wings more than 5 stars, I totally would! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest smile from Alanna, the hostess. Her energy was infectious, and she went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of pleasurable. Alanna's attention to detail was impeccable. She remembered our names, and even recommended the most incredible flavor combo for our wings--honey garlic with a side of their signature spicy BBQ. Her knowledge of the menu was evident, and her enthusiasm made us even more excited to try everything. What truly stood out was how Alanna handled a small mix-up with our order, making sure we left with smiles on our faces. Her kindness and professionalism are rare nowadays. Thank you, Alanna, for making our dining experience truly AWSOM! read more

Got good customer service. On this day 04/19/2020, I ordered pizza and wings then called back for additional pizza and wings because family was hungry and wanted a taste of something good as is Alondra's. The staff, which was comprised of maybe four or five employees due to covid, was exceptional. They got the order right the first time and the homie JOE was helpful and friendly, shout out to the cooks and anyone else involved in the operation. Pick up went without a glitch. Food was delicious, filling, and at a good price. I would strongly recommend ALONDRA'S (MONTEBELLO) if you are in the area and want bomb pizza or wings. read more

I have been a huge fan of Alondra hot wings for years! We used to love going there for the delicious wings, pizza and the deep fried twinkies. The last time i went though unfortunately changed my mind completely! Their wait was very lengthy but we decided to continue waiting because we love the food so much. Once we were seated we waited another while for our orders to be taken, long story short they took long for our food to come out, the service was bad, our order was messed up. Great customer service, food is good. However, recently they made a menu change and the prices are extremely higher than the previous prices. I could smell the delicious chicken and teriyaki smell from outside. For me I wanted to try the Teriyaki Chicken snd Tofu with brown rice. My teriyaki bowl ended up being like 20+ dollars so I kinda feel it's a bit expensive. They have different sizes so I ended up getting the biggest one. I see a lot of people just ordering the largest one too. So the basic bowl is just rice and chicken or a protein. If you wanted to add veggies, it's a charge. Most teriyaki places would charge like 1-2 dollars to add veggies. I was charged like 5 dollars ish for veggies. I'm not sure if that's because I ordered a large bowl. The food did taste good, the veggies tasted fresh, the teriyaki chicken had a real good char flavor to it and the sauce is good. I wish they had real sauce containers for their teriyaki sauce because they give you it in a sriracha bottle which looks old and a bit dirty. Star Crab is honestly one of my favorite seafood boil spots. The food is always flavorful and hits…read moreevery single time. I always get the Full House sauce with mild spice, but with a side of medium sauce to dip into too. I know it sounds crazy, but trust me it's SO good and gives the perfect balance of flavor and extra kick. The seafood tastes fresh, the sauce is rich and buttery, and the portions are really filling. The fries and extras soak up the sauce so well too. I also like that the spice levels are customizable because everyone in the group can get what they're comfortable with. Service has always been friendly whenever I've gone, and the atmosphere is casual and fun for eating with friends or family. Definitely one of those places I keep craving and coming back to.
