Sarah and Tim arrived with the perfect balance of options: enough to feel curated, not enough to trigger decision fatigue. They respected my budget and guided me toward materials and styles that made sense for my home's "architecturally adventurous" windows. My roman shades turned out beautifully--subtle, sophisticated, and perfectly in harmony with my walls so my art can keep its spotlight. They understood the assignment. Beyond their talent, they're simply great humans: honest, precise, and genuinely pleasant to work with. I recommend Best Blinds wholeheartedly. Give them a try--you'll be thrilled you did.

Sarah handles most of the communication and she was extremely responsive and patient with all the questions I had. Scheduling an in-house consultation was easy and didn't cost a thing. They came well prepared, with samples of products, took all the measurements, and helped me pick out a variety of roller and zebra shades that matched well with my current decor that were affordable without trying to upsell me on anything fancy or excessive. In fact, they had to talk me out of more expensive options when I inquired about them! They even came back out a second time without hesitation because I had second thoughts about the initial choices and wanted to look at products. You pay a deposit of half the invoice amount for them to order the products, and the other half after they finish installation. Very fair and straightforward. It takes about 2-3 weeks after placing the order for the product shipment to arrive, and my installation was scheduled for a couple days after that. Incredibly quick turnaround. They do everything themselves, including the installation which went smoothly. I had a few motorized shades as part of my order, and they were setup with various groupings and presets and paired well with a remote. They are committed to coming back out in the future if anything needs to be adjusted or fixed, which is very assuring. They even took the time to help me with some lingering items around the house that I have neglected for a long time due to my inability to do it on my own, like changing some light bulbs in high hard to reach places, and moving large pieces of furniture up a flight of stairs! That is something they 100% did not have to do and not part of their job description, but that's simply how sweet and accommodating they are. If you would like to support a small local business, they truly deserve your consideration.

I have to pull it to the side in order for the chain to not get caught in the shredded shade edges! Horrendous quality for the money, I feel like such a sucker for purchasing from them.

If you are thinking about any kind of window treatment and you live in the Austin area, start here! Justin patiently walked through options with us, consulted on colors, went through samples to get us the right order for every room, and then came back and installed everything when it came in. We researched numerous Austin window designers on Yelp, BBB, and "Best of Austin" sites, etc., and decided to reach out to DECO Window Fashions after reading rave reviews and testimonials by previous customers. DECO owner, James Covian, responded quickly to our email inquiry and arranged an in-store meeting with one of their "best design consultants, Denise McIntyre." Denise was wonderful - she understood exactly what we hoped to achieve, made specific Hunter Douglas model recommendations, and visited our home to display specific design samples from which we made our selection. She completed measurements, customizing the shutter designs to accommodate specific nuances of furniture and room layout, and wrote up an estimate that included special discounts. The whole sales and order process couldn't have been any easier or more satisfying!!! We're looking forward to our installation and updating our Yelp review in the very near future - thanks greatly James AND Denise - DECO rocks!!!
