It looks like Deco Window Fashions stores on Anderson Mill & in Beecaves have closed their doors without notifying customers. They stopped opening their doors about 13 days ago. I have 2 window coverings orders with them and waiting to hear status on when they'll be installed. No one from store is returning calls or communicating about what's going on in their stores. I paid them $6,000.00 and I want a refund especially since it looks like your store is having difficulties. read more

Having moved right in the middle of the pandemic, we were looking for help getting a combination of curtains and shades for our new home. We made an in person visit to the store and Noa was extremely patient walking us through our options, including answering our questions. We were quite impressed with the options for motorized and manual shades we needed. Noa made couple of visits to our house to ensure we were completely satisfied before we placed our order. She also went back and forth over email and phone to adjust things according to our budget. Shades, especially nice looking one, are indeed very expensive! Working with DECO Window Fashions was a great experience. We researched online for roller shades providers on our area and found multiple positive reviews on Yelp for DECO Window Fashions, so we visited the showroom and set up an appt. with Denise, she was super nice and professional, she came to our house to measure all windows and show fabric samples and guided us about the fabric type and colors for a modern look. We received the quotes the same day (the essential windows quote, and all windows quote, etc.) and decided to go with Hunter Douglas Roller Shades, Motorized shades on our living room area and Manual shades on other essential areas. I had to mention that there is a small window above our balcony door in our living room area that prevented us to just install one big shade so Denise figured out the perfect design in a way to keep a consistent look without investing a lot of money on individual motors, and I'm so grateful for that! . About 4 weeks later, Fernando came to our house and did an exceptional job installing the shades, he was so nice, perfectionist, clean and answered all our questions about the shades warranty, maintenance, and the phone app. I realized about their exceptional service when I called Denise on the installation date about one small issue I noticed and how she did everything to help us. When selecting colors, I suggest paying attention to the color of hardware pieces too and check how the fabric looks with different lighting (bright/dark areas, day/night light, cold/warm room light etc.). I let Denise know I was not 100% convinced about the color provided for the hardware on the master bedroom's manual shade and that we were so happy with the motorized function (Living Room) that we changed our minds and wanted to go with a motorized shades on the master bedroom too. Quickly she came with a plan for us, first she requested the hardware color change for visible parts (top and bottom end caps) and also she planned to move the manual shade from the master to the guest room (no additional cost for the hardware or the movement) and finally get new Dual Motorized Hunter Douglas Roller Shades for our Master bedroom. We were so happy with the results The Hunter Douglas shades were pricey anywhere we looked up, but we read they were the best quality, best technology, and modern look. Thank goodness I found Deco Window Fashions via thumbtack! I received 3 different quotes for my new house with a whole lot of windows. After meeting with all 3, I decided to go with Deco. There is just a feeling you get when meeting people... They just seemed like the most experienced out of the bunch. I'm glad I made the right choice. :) Claudia from Deco actually came to my house promptly, made all the measurements, and sent me a quote just a few days later. She helped me with the selection process which was entirely new to me, and we ended up picking her suggestions. Our house has corner window features, so it was odd to try to dress them up in shades (which was my initial thought). Claudia recommended instead, the drapes, which I'd never even considered for my house. She showed me some samples of their work on drapes, and I knew that's the way we had to go for those special corner windows. They were incredibly flexible, given the fact that it was a new house build and had several delays. Finally, the shades and drapes were ordered. Meanwhile, in our old place, we had to fix our old broken blinds. The string on the blinds had shredded off, so it was impossible to pull them up or down. Instead they hung crooked, just lovely. Contacted Deco, and James came promptly to fix the blinds instead of replacing the whole unit. He replaced the string somehow, and it was as good as new. Back at the new house, the custom shades and drapes arrived, and it was installation time! James was quick, professional, and incredibly talented when it came to making our windows look beautiful! DECO made us custom roman window dressings with valances. They promised to install all in under ten weeks just in time for Thanks Giving 2019. After three attempts with sizing errors and complete redos, DECO completed the job three months later than promised. The product is superb with rich colors and fine fabrics so we are excited however we received no warranty even though DECO owner himself promised us such information for our records. My husband and I recently finished construction of a garage apartment that has massive 8 ft windows, and were looking for simple roller shades so as not to not detract from the clean, modern look. I was so close to ordering roller shades from Smith & Noble, but a read of hit and miss reviews on Houzz made me second-guess the decision. DECO Window Fashions had great reviews on Houzz, and I thought that even if the cost was a little more it would be worth it to support a local business and take the guesswork out of measuring correctly and ordering the most appropriate product. I called and spoke with Claudia to set up an appointment, and she visited my home within a week. She brought many sample books of the products we discussed, took measurements and prepared an estimate on the spot. Her bid for Hunter Douglas shades was very competitive, and actually less than our cost estimate for the mail order option we were considering. Our main home was still under construction, but Claudia also did a walk-through of the construction site to prepare an estimate for that cost as well. We went ahead and ordered shades for our garage apartment, paid a 50% deposit and were told our custom shades would be ready in 2-3 weeks. After barely 2 weeks, Claudia called to let us know the shades were ready so she could schedule installation. Just like Claudia, her husband James arrived on time (she gave an exact time, not a window!) to install the shades. It took him about 90 minutes to install the shades, and they look fantastic. We've now been living with them for about 2 months as we wait for our main house construction to be completed, raise and lower them every day, and feel great about the value we received for the high quality and service. Claudia and James are so likable, helpful and friendly, but -- after months of dealing with construction contractors who don't care about customer service or satisfaction -- I most appreciate their professionalism and sincere gratitude for the business. I can't recommend DECO Window Fashions highly enough, and will be hiring them again when our main house construction is completed. read more

Phenomenal experience. But most importantly, the drapes look gorgeous - beyond what we imagined. We were going to buy 'off the shelf' treatments at an upscale store, but I saw Deco's Yelp reviews and decided to give it a shot. We were initially overwhelmed with the choices, but Denise asked us questions, saw what we were gravitating to, and narrowed it down.
