What an awesome experience working with Trophy town! We had a gift for my father in law that we…read morethought last minute to have engraved and they took care of us. Communication was always quick via yelp chat or over the phone. We had asked if we could bring in the item the next day for same day work. Syed was amazing and accommodating. Although they were in the middle of moving their entire shop for a larger space and working on large projects, they were able to squeeze us in and get our engraving done fast in the font style, size, and location we wanted. Would definitely work with them again! Thank you Trophy Towne!

I brought him 8 redwood 8x10" plaques in which to engrave brass plates for some awards. He did an ok job, but for some unknown reason, he pried off one of the brass plates I had on the board. They were epoxied down ON PURPOSE, and he never consulted with me to remove it. They weren't MEANT to be removed. Plus they were on redwood, which is a VERY soft wood, so when I picked up the boards, it had gouges in the wood where they pried it off. Now I have to make a new board and I'm already in a time crunch. He never called or emailed me to check if that was ok. He just did it. He's a nice enough guy, but his communication and attention to detail is really lacking. So don't go here unless you're really desperate. UPDATE: as expected from his other reviews, he deflects. He can't own his mistake. You should NEVER do anything the customer didn't ask for without consulting with them first. The owner damaged my piece, plain and simple. I had to remove it, but I used a band saw and took it off cleanly without gouging into the wood. Don't go here folks.

Absolutely amazing experience at Son of a Jeweler!…read more We purchased all of our rings from here -- my engagement ring, my fiancé's wedding band, and my wedding band -- and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From the very first time I walked in, the experience was incredible. They are a small business, but they do exceptional work and truly take the time to work with you every step of the way. They helped design my engagement ring exactly how I envisioned it, down to every single detail. Nothing ever felt rushed, and they really listened to what I wanted and brought it to life perfectly. Tina, the owner, is incredibly kind, genuine, and passionate about her work. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and takes pride in every piece that leaves her shop. She creates such a warm and welcoming environment that makes you feel instantly comfortable and confident in your decision. I worked closely with Kathy, who was absolutely amazing. She is patient, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable, and she took the time to walk me through every option, answer all of my questions, and make sure everything was exactly right. Kathy made the entire process so easy and enjoyable and always made sure I felt heard and supported. Everyone there is so sweet and welcoming. They really go above and beyond -- from helping us create our dream rings to always taking care of us when we stop by. I love that I can drop in anytime and they'll clean my ring for free, and they've even helped fix my nose pin at no cost. That level of care is truly rare. They've honestly become like family since we see each other so often. We are beyond happy with our rings -- these are pieces we'll wear forever -- and we couldn't be more grateful that we chose Son of a Jeweler. Highly, highly recommend

When I called, Stephanie answered and was very polite. She patched me through to Cliff, who explained the difference between laser etching and engraving and provided a very reasonable quote. Upon arriving at Etched Media, I met Cliff, who graciously allowed my daughter and me to watch him work. It was a fascinating experience. Cliff even laser-etched my daughter's initials on her digital camera as a Christmas gift, free of charge! The quality of the work was amazing, and Cliff's knowledge and patience were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Etched Media, and special thanks to Stephanie and Cliff for their exceptional service! Neil

I wanted to make them special by getting them engraved with their names on each of the bracelets. I called Laser Mark's and I spoke to Jacob who let me know that the laser is flat and they may not be able to engrave a curved bracelet. However, he agreed to let me bring the bracelet cuffs into his shop so he could look at them to determine if it would be possible. He let me know that it may not work but he was willing to try engraving them. I told him that I was willing to risk it since the bracelets were inexpensive and I could purchase them again if it didn't turn out. I am so happy that I took the risk because the bracelets look so much better with the girls' names engraved on them and it makes the gifts more personal. Jacob took special care to put a black tape over the area on the bracelet that was to be engraved to test over the tape so I could see how the name would appear and give my approval before doing the actual engraving. It was a cool process and fun to participate in.

Through a friend's recommendation (already a good sign), I went to see Richard, and he helped guide me through what to actually look for. Over the course of 2-3 months, I visited him multiple times, asking for advice, having him look at diamonds I was eyeing, sending inspiration photos, and trying to figure out that what I wanted was basically a Frankenstein combination of multiple ring styles. Still, he entertained every idea I had. He told me more than once, "I don't want to take your money if you don't want what I'm giving you." That alone says a lot about how he runs his business. After all the planning, brainstorming, and back and forth, Richard and his team pulled it off. He helped me give my fiancée the ring of her dreams, something unique and special enough to match who she is. So thank you, Richard, for helping make that happen, and thank you, Shelly, for always entertaining me and making me feel like family during what was honestly a pretty stressful process. You've made the whole experience feel exciting and personal instead of overwhelming. Oh, and to tie it all together, I did introduce my fiancée to Richard and Shelly. That's how big a part they played in the story of our engagement.
