I recently visited Etched Media to get a Leatherman Multi-tool personalized for a friend retiring from the SMC Sheriff's Office. I wanted his name, title, and badge number engraved on it. When I called, Stephanie answered and was very polite. She patched me through to Cliff, who explained the difference between laser etching and engraving and provided a very reasonable quote. I am so happy. I bought three stainless steel cuff bracelets off the Internet to give to my daughters as a gift for Valentine's Day. I wanted to make them special by getting them engraved with their names on each of the bracelets. I called Laser Mark's and I spoke to Jacob who let me know that the laser is flat and they may not be able to engrave a curved bracelet. However, he agreed to let me bring the bracelet cuffs into his shop so he could look at them to determine if it would be possible. He let me know that it may not work but he was willing to try engraving them. I told him that I was willing to risk it since the bracelets were inexpensive and I could purchase them again if it didn't turn out. I am so happy that I took the risk because the bracelets look so much better with the girls' names engraved on them and it makes the gifts more personal. Jacob took special care to put a black tape over the area on the bracelet that was to be engraved to test over the tape so I could see how the name would appear and give my approval before doing the actual engraving. Laser Mark's did a fantastic job on my dad's custom engraving cutting board. My husband designed the logo and provided it to them to engrave on the cutting board--one we bought on Amazon. The turnaround time was pretty quick and from what my husband told me, his interaction placing the order and interacting with the staff was friendly and seamless. The only ding I have to mention is that in the original logo, there's a long line that separates the bull from the text. That detail was mixing in the final engraving but we didn't notice until much later. Other than that, the engraving was clean and pretty spot on. This place is awesome, from the staff to the work they do. I had been looking to get some handcuffs engraved for a graduation. The process was fast, easy, and also entertaining. The whole process was about 20 minutes in and out the door. We were able to pick our own font and the whole process was extremely customizable. Had a wonderful experience with Laser Mark's. After a couple other vendors turned down my task saying it would be too difficult, Mark said to come in and walk through it and maybe give it a shot. He and his team were extremely professional, helpful, and funny! I was a part of the odd "team day" request for laser etched lima beans. Laser Mark's Company was wonderful- we had 120+ beans etched with inspirational words. They came out beautiful! If it all works out, after being planted and watered, the beans should sprout with the etched word still on the bean pod. Imagine the words "hope" or "trust" growing out of the ground! Great Laser Marking service. Just walked in and these guys did the rest. They are mostly an industrial company and usually do part marking by the thousands, so they are a bit expensive, but wow this was a blast to get high tech marking on my stuff.
