I needed to have a watch I bought for my father's retirement engraved. It is surprisingly difficult to find engravers. The places I called either do not engrave jewelry, lack equipment, or do not have the expertise. That is why I am thankful I was able to find Heirloom Engravers via Yelp. I took a day off and went to their shop. I was able to have the watch looked at and a quote provided for the work. I wanted them to put my father's name, date of retirement, and a simple message. They performed the work and it was done after a few days. I was impressed by the work because it came out really well. The font used was clear and very legible. It was also centered correctly in the back of the watch. There was no issues with the work at all. The only difficulty is that their location and hours are not easy unless you are in the area already or live in SF (I am in the peninsula). I would say plan accordingly and call in advance to make sure of their hours. I recommend them for all of your engraving needs. read more
