So I bring in a football trophy that we use for our fantasy league.It has just come back from New York for the current winner. Yea West coast! Time to put a new name on it. My first visit here and the reason is simple; the last engraving was a horror. Wrong size and it stood out like a sore thumb. But it is engraved, into a metal plate and we are stuck with it. Time to pick it up and I am given our trophy back, completely redone, along with the explanation that the Trophy Masters couldn't have something that was wrong leave their place! What!!!!! They didn't make the error, a bozo did -one whom I should flame but I'm in way too good a mood to do so - They redo ALL the names, add the one I requested and then...and then...... DON'T CHARGE ME FOR ALL THE EXTRA WORK THEY DID! The trophy looks great and the kicker... The bill is less than the bums that screwed up the trophy in the first place. I wish I could give them a ton of business, they deserve it. I'll have to settle for this review and make sure I send anyone who utters the words: trophy, engraving or award in my presence. I still can't believe this. Five stars doesn't begin to give them their due! Make it 10! read more

All I did was send over what sort of trophy I wanted (a karate-kicking man; though I had the option to do a literal ass/donkey kicker), what I wanted it to say, how much I was willing to spend, and when I needed it by. This place seriously is AMAZING!!! I found out the day before the scheduled graduation for our 8th grade students that the trophies had not been ordered. I have used Trophy Masters for a number of prizes and have always experienced amazing service and excellent work. My first couple of experiences were just to buy individual pieces to incorporate into a trophy I was building myself. Dennis was extremely helpful in finding just the right pieces and happy to sell them to me basically at cost. My second experience was to make a custom trophy incorporating a bobble-head into a trophy. Dennis was happy to explain all of the options for bases and the finished product was exactly what I had in mind. My most recent visit was for a rush order on medals for a league I run. I emailed a logo file to him and within 24 hours he had made the medals with the logo on it. Will continue going to Trophy Masters for all of my awards. read more

I'm sure they do a great job, my experience is a bit different. Here are some tips: get a proof and check it VERY carefully. Also, review what you want, despite what you provided on the order form. I would have been given a plate that was not the style I ordered, had I not corrected an email. I would have also had a lower case "o" that was supposed to be a "0" zero. Errors happen but each time Dennis insisted he was right and it was not an error. Eventually, I got a "good catch" from him on the "o" that should have been a "0" (zero) but he had to look at it a few times because, when questioned, he insisted it was a zero when it wasn't. The plate ended up with a scratch I noticed after he brought it out after he affixed it to my clock. He claimed that it was part of the finish of the plate. The scratch is 1/2" wide and curved (the finish is straight), it's light but very noticeable. He denied seeing it more than once. Then, when he eventually acknowledged the scratch, he told me I should have caught it when he handed me the plate in a plastic bag to review it prior to affixing it. He had taken the plate in the back to affix it to my clock, I suggested the scratch could have happened in the back. I asked if it could be buffed out. It couldn't be. He offered to redo it in 10 minutes but I was concerned that removing the scratched plate and replacing it would ruin the wood on the clock. He wanted to know what I wanted. I suggested a discount off the $45 due to the scratch -- I did not think this was unreasonable. He wouldn't discount it but he did end up tossing my credit card back at me in frustration and did not charge me at all. I don't think my request for a discount was unreasonable, but I guess I ended up with a bigger discount than I wanted. It still didn't make me feel like I received the best customer service possible. Most of the service was very good until I went in for the final product. I'm know we'll both be happy not to see each other again. read more

Briefly: Amazing experience! Quick turn around, friendly service and excellent work. The Long Story: I have used yelp for years and considered writing a review. Finally, because of the amazing experience I had at trophy masters, I opened an account. I knew for over a year that I wanted a trophy for thanksgiving, but could not decide on what I wanted or make up my mind as to what I wanted it to look like. One week before Thanksgiving I called Trophy Masters. They were very friendly and gave me a few different options on what I could do. I told them that I would try to decide and call back. I didn't call back until Tuesday and they again let me know my options, but I still could not figure out what I wanted. I called again on Wednesday afternoon, last minute, which if you have a big order I probably wouldn't advise, but they were able to engrave the base of the trophy and even add the last few years of winners on it at no additional cost. Additionally, he was extremely nice and accomodating, even though I was so indecisive for so long. On Thanksgiving, everyone loved the trophy and I received so many compliements on getting it done. (Little did they know it was so last minute). If I ever need a trophy or award for anything else, I will defintiely be going to Trophy Masters! read more

I found them on the web, look at all the interesting products that were offered and found what I was looking for... They were "closed" on the weekends, but I was able to pick up my items no problem in the morning on Saturday. I couldn't have been happier with how the product came out. Disorganized, unprofessional, and dishonest. I visited Trophy Masters last Monday to ask about price and turnaround time for a small engraving job: ten medals engraved with the same three lines, seven words total, for a kids' soccer team. I was quoted a price and a turnaround of two to three days. I said I would be back the following Monday, after I got the medals from the league. When I returned as promised, I was told that they would try to get them done for double the original price and double the time quoted. I went elsewhere and advise anyone in need of engraving to do the same. read more

HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! This place doesn't deserve any kind of stars!! I came in last Wednesday for my fantasy football trophy to be engraved. The employee wrote down what I wanted on the trophy and I asked specifically if this will be ready by Monday. And of course she said yes. Now, Monday came around and there shop was CLOSED. At this point, I was upset. She didn't info me the shop will be closed and there was no sign! NOTHING. If that was the case, I would have gone to another shop who would helped me. So the next day I called and a gentleman answer the phone. This is where things went from disappointing to furious. I explained what happened. Instead of trying to listen to what I had to say he kept speaking over me and trying to blame me. He kept saying the person who helped us wrote down next Wednesday not Monday. I told him that she NEVER said anything about Wednesday but she agree Monday verbally that the trophy will be done. We went back and forth and that's when he just told me to just pick up my trophy without any engraved being done. He needs customer service skills and phone etiquette. read more
