I came here to get a gorgeous gooseneck kettle engraved (from Fellow products) for a wedding gift for one of my best friends. George sent me an initial quote and since I found it very reasonable ($25), I decided to come to the shop. He showed me some fonts to pick from and asked what size I'd like the engraving to be and then showed me what my text would look like on his computer. I spent another $15 so that he could do the engraving then and there (didn't want to have to come back). The kettle came out wonderfully! I was shopping around for a spot to engrave a passport wallet as a gift and after coming across several locations nearby, I stumbled upon Rumors Engraving. I only wanted initials so $40-45 at other locations seemed a bit steep. George offered competitive pricing and provided the best customer service with my gift. He explained all the fonts, color and sizes and also clarified how the engraving would come out considering the type of soft leather I had. I ordered an engraved wine decanter from him and I was told it would take a week. He charged me upfront for the whole amount of decanter plus the engraving before he is completing the work. When I went to pick up my item, he hadn't done the engraving the way he was supposed to. When I asked him this wasn't our agreement and he did a shortcut on that, he was in silent and put my item in a Trader Jose bag. I also told him that I do not have any choice but I would share with people my experience as a bad review and still he was in silent. It was a little weird getting into the store - I had no idea it was in this very strange shopping center I didn't know existed - but once I was there I had a cup I brought it engraved. I was a bit worried about having it engraved - it was a specialized Kiddish cup - but he inspected it carefully and talked to me about the engraving and set me at ease. I came back two days later to pick it up. I hit traffic and was running a little late and called; he kept the shop open 5 minutes late for me to get there which was super, super nice at the end of the week. It looked great. I couldn't be more pleased! I shop is full of great little items. I plan to go back and shop when I have more time. Seems like a good place to get a personalized gift. read more

George did an incredibly clean job with our engraved glassware. He started his work with a careful inspection of the glasses before engraving, which revealed a tiny chip in one of the pieces I had brought in to him. GREAT eyes George! After I replaced the glass for him to work with, he did an exceptionally clean and precise job with his work. The work was done quickly as well. Prompt and professional, highly recommended! I brought in my Grandmother and Grandfather's silver-plated toasting glasses from their wedding, to be engraved for my wedding. I was hesitant to leave this family heirloom with somebody else for even a minute, but George had them finished for me within a few hours. I'm late getting to this review (like 8 months late!) but I wanted to make sure I wrote it. I figured out the perfect b-day gift for my boyfriend, a bar set with an engraved shaker. I brought the shaker to Rumors a few days before the birthday dinner, in other words, super late. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful! I asked for an engraving of all the airport codes we had traveled to together, circling the top edge of the bottom piece. The staff warned me the spacing may not be 100% even, due to the font style and size. However, they had it done in two days, and it was absolutely perfect! My boyfriend was so happy with the present. Because of Rumors Engraving, it will be a special piece we'll cherish (and use) for many years to come! read more

The price is reasonable, turnaround time was convenient (one week for a lower price, 1-2 days for slightly more) and everything came out to spec. I purchased 15 pens and paid to have them individually engraved. He did a nice job, btw. When I received them in the mail, I got 14 pens. They insisted I had not ordered the 15th pen so I had to purchase another and pay again to have it engraved and pay again for shipping. Several months later, I went to Rumors to make some additional purchases, and my missing pen was there on display. At no time did anyone from there call me and let me know it had been found. Nor did anyone ever refund my money for having to order the extra pen, engraving, and postage. (about $25). I've purchased from them for years, but not any more. This was unethical. read more

I went here to buy a frame and engrave it. Left with 2 frames and engravings and they did an awesome job. I believe its owned by a couple, who are really sweet and very helpful. They even stayed past 5pm to get my engraving done (I got there at 4:30). They were quick and the engraving was perfect and all for a very cheap price. read more
