The store has a lot of Thousand Skies merch (of course), but also a lot of other artists' work. Very similar to what you'll see at some SJmade fairs, you'll see a lot of prints, charms, caps, plushies, washi tape, and more. I could probably spend just as long in the store as I would at SJmade. When I was shopping there (5/17/26), Thousand Skies had a free reusable bag for any purchase of $50 or more on their merch. Not sure how long they will keep this promotion, so hurry and make your visit if this is something you'd like!

Walking in, there is a freezer of Hokkaido cones, which I'll go back to on a day that is hotter than today. They have a pretty large selection of toys which my son wanted to look at, and they have well-stocked inventory of international candies. I tried a chocolate marshmallow candy which was interesting. The customer service was really great and I loved how I could use Apple Pay especially since I left my wallet at home.

They had a ton of unique flavors and styles with a fantastic selection of Ramune and soft drinks and even had a character themed mug and pistachio section. My partner bought a Martinez shirt from them and let me tell you, the fabric is so soft. My friend bought a cute hair comb she has been looking for a while. They make all their designed there and are solely owned by the artist. This isn't your boring chachki store, but somewhere you can actually buy quality made goods. They had everything from clothing, candles, Taylor swift items, jewelry and so much more. The place was clean, the family that owns it is super sweet and can answer any questions. We talked to the owner Jenny for a little bit and she is the sweetest lady. She makes a lot of items she sells including patches for hats and ornaments for the holiday's. There's a whole section with Martinez merchandise, as well as candles, cards, clothes, hats, and stuff for kids. I enjoyed walking through the store and checking out everything. My friend bought some warm gloves and I got a pair of heart earrings for Valentine's Day. I'll be back to purchase her popular hand crafted Christmas ornament with a cat's backside and a snowflake covering it. This is a fun shop to check out!

It shares the same building with the Mitsuwa Market, so, of course, the shop is much smaller than the other ones out there, making it a bit more cramped. With this in mind, the books, stationery, gifts, and other goods here aren't as impressive as say a standalone Kinokuniya (common sense) or the ones that are located in malls. Or maybe I'm just spoiled by the options that I have in SoCal. It's not bad when you're in the area, but if you're a tourist and want a more comprehensive Kino experience, I would say your best bet is the Japantown SF location. However, it's still nice to stop by and see what cute stuff that they have.

I still had a great time checking out all of the adorable merchandise. This shop is attached to Mitsuwa Market and you enter through the food court. This is a busy shopping center with lots of stores and restaurants; parking can be problematic on weekends.
