Le Anna at Eagle Awards went above and beyond to help me create two, single-unit custom awards, IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS! People, I kid you not, I had a brilliant idea Monday morning, called Eagle Awards at lunch, and was in the small and mighty showroom by 2:30pm. From there, Le Anna and I corresponded by email to design one crystal award and another smaller glass award, and review proofs. It was ready for pick-up at 4:30pm on Tuesday. Are you kidding! Nothing moves that fast these days. How did it look? Amazing! Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the final products because I was in a rush to gift them, but they were EXACTLY as designed. How much? A lot, of course. I paid extra for expedited service. How else can you make magic happen so quickly. Would I do it again? Absolutely. For the quality of work, impeccable service and easy going attitude to collaboration. Would I do it in 24hrs again? No. It was unrealistic of me to expect that kind of support, and that's why I'm writing. Le Anna was great, she didn't have to work with me; especially after business hours. For those that have read my reviews know that where I give my business is very important to me. It is almost never just the final product, it is the process. There is no higher accolade I can give to a business than Diane and Eagle Awards. First off she is the nicest, most genuine person who loves her craft. She truly loves making people happy with her work. It is hard during this pandemic for a small business. And I was on the fence about going to a place i had no experience with for such short notice. I had a less than 24 hour turn around time. Not only did she make the most amazing plaque for me, she did it with all the passion in the world. I almost had another one made just so i could give her more business. What struck me the most, is that even during these times of financial hardships for her own business, she was cost conscious for my own product. Truly an exemplary human. My dance team made a last minute decision to make awards for our intimate end of the year dinner -- and to no surprise, I panicked on where to get elegant yet cheap yet speedy awards made. The dinner was to be held on a Thursday and to my luck, Diane came to my rescue on a Tuesday! Two day turn over for 4 black 7x9 plaques, which I assumed would be impossible considering it's Summer and everyone needs awards made. I called Diane in the morning to ask about what they had in stock, about two hours later provided her with the information needed for the award, and right before closing time we had a mock up and two edits completed by the end of the day! The awards were done Wednesday afternoon and were crisp, clean, and exactly what I imagined -- and ready for pick up well before our awards dinner. I called around to about 5 different shops to see who could engrave a gavel for me within 24 hours. The average price was about $25 with one shop over $50. I called Diana at Eagle Awards and not only could she do it for me IMMEDIATELY-- but she didn't even charge me the $10 minimum price because I was so impressed with her shop, I couldn't stop buying things (engraved bottle opener, photo ornaments, etc). So I paid the minimum with my other purchases! The prices are amazing and the service even better. They are SO nice there! The shop is like something you would find 30 years ago... I feel like I stepped back in time both from a service and price standpoint. Please give them business- they are AMAZING and I will go there before I ever try another engraver again. read more

The spot isn't that large, but they do have a decent selection, you just got to ask because they may have some in the back in terms of variation. We needed to have a vase engraved for a unity sand ceremony. Yoko was very friendly and helpful in assisting us on what we might want to have engraved on the vase and how it might be laid out. Diane, the engraver, made some further suggestions and noted that because of the curvature of the vase, our logo would be elongated. She thought she might be able to elongate the logo in the other direction to compensate. When we got the vase we were thrilled with the results. The logo was perfectly symmetrical; Diane did a beautiful job. Eagle Awards provides that elusive combination of excellent work and excellent customer service. read more

Was thoroughly insulted by the owners when I questioned an illegal late charge applied to our invoice. They provided no terms and conditions nor did they inform that a late charge would be applied to their invoice. A practice that is illegal in California. Here are a few excerpts that the "Professional Owner" sent to me when i questioned her late fee: Let me enlighten you, ______, I was Treasurer and on the BOD for the largest and oldest motorcycle racing club for more than 10 years. I know that the Treasurer does not single handedly "run" any organization. However, in my opinion, you are single handedly doing a good job in tarnishing the reputation of the {Name of Organization}. You are not worthy of the title you hold and we will not be directing any future communications to you, personally. We are a small business, but we have a big heart. You sir, need to learn your duties as Treasurer and be a better representative of your organization. We don't know if you had a bad day, weeks or months.... As far as your email, I am advising you that you are completely out of line . If you would like for our legal counsel to send any late fee correspondence to you and/or the Board of Directors, we will be happy to oblige. You have no authority to tell us that our policies and/or late charges are ridiculous, unreasonable or unnecessary. You obviously have no business background or need to brush up on your Treasurer knowledge and duties. Late fees are standard practice. If you have a credit card, you would know that. Just wanted everyone to know the response these supposed "professionals" send out when inquiring to a late fee applied to an invoice illegally. Our organization will never use these people again. I called then the same day, not very early for a 4 PM game and they were able to accommodate me and provide me choices that stayed within a decent budget. I called a number of awards businesses looking to get a plaque done on short notice bc my previous awards guy up and shut his shop. This was the only business I called where the staff was patient, informative, and kind. With our first plaque, there was a bit of miscommunication on some spelling in the proof so it had to be redone. My experience at this shop was not a pleasant one. I have nine thermo cups of different colors and surfaces to be engraved and took them to the shop so we can discuss how that can be done. We discussed how to do the engraving and verbally agreed on a total price of $100 with the condition that they will not charge me for ones that do not work. I left the cups and they promised me to send me a design with an official estimate within a couple of days. I checked with them after not hearing from them for more than a week. They came back with an official estimate of $100 with some crude drawings for the designs. I agreed for them to go ahead with the work. One day later I received an email saying that they can only engrave 8 of the 9 cups and the invoice would be $110. The cost should have been $85 based on our agreement and their original quotation. When I complained about the increased amount on the invoice, they told me that "they are providing a service and the quotation is only a reference". They need to charge me more because the job took longer than they thought and they did not even charge me the expedition fee. They did do a good job on the engraving, and I really do not mind paying the additional money. It was not a large amount. However, I have several issues with how the business was conducted. 1. A honorable business should abide by its own quotation, especially when one has more than one week to evaluate the job. 2. When challenged, one does not come up with bogus claim of "expedition fees" to try to justify the price increase. read more

These folks are the best! My son got promoted so my wife and I wanted to mark the occasion with something nice. We found a beautiful, handmade from exotic woods clipboard that fit the bill. I took it to Eagle, and they did a beautiful job of engraving it with his name, rank, and Fire Department, along with a FD logo. The font, design, and execution were first rate, just perfect, and the price very fair. Add to that the people are just wonderful to deal with and it really is a winning combination. I highly can recommend Eagle Awards. I recently had the need to get an engraving--and needed it quick. Every other vendor in the Santa Clara/Palo Alto area laughed me away or asked for a $100 rush charge. I called Eagle Awards as a last resort. They were beyond wonderful. Understanding that sometimes orders pop up out of the blue and although they are in the middle of awards season, took care of my single order and treated me like I was a top customer (and my order was laughably small). They kept their promise to have something to me the next day, they stayed on top of proofs, well past 9pm at night and could not have been nicer to me (this was for a non-profit). Didn't charge me rush job/penalty kicker either! So understanding of our situation. Although part of my order did not arrive in time (not their fault) they alerted me straight away- kept me informed, reset my expectations, and worked with me on a work around so we could still make my deadline.
