AW Rugs & Carpet - Carpeting Near Me - Van Nuys, California

Got a nice area rug from AW Rugs & Carpet in Van Nuys. The staff was patient, helped me compare a few textures, and didn't push for a sale. The quality feels solid and it fits the living room perfectly. Took one star off just because the delivery took an extra day, but overall, really good spot for rugs. read more

I live in lower Alabama and was very leery about doing business with a company I found online and so far away. The prices seemed too good to be true which was a huge red flag. I could not have been more wrong. Max was the ABSOLUTE BEST !!!! When I called and told him which rug I wanted, he immediately knew the inventory and all the details. Not only did he have the rug I needed but he also got me a custom made rug pad for less than the cost of a ready made one. I cannot say enough good things about Max, Allan and AW Rugs and Carpet. It would be foolish to shop elsewhere !!!! read more

Max and his team were incredible. We had a complicated stairway that needed a stair runner. He came out himself to carefully measure and discuss options. He was thoughtful, thorough and communicative throughout the process. And the finished stairway looks AMAZING. We couldn't be happier. read more

This is the second time I have used A&W carpet, and once again Max came through with flying colors. His service was prompt, honest, very competitively priced, and it was nice having that personal touch rather than dealing with a large chain carpet store. Max was there the day of the installation to make sure everything was going according to plan , and his installers worked hard all day and did a beautiful job not only with the installation but also with the disassembly and re-assembly of furniture. I highly recommend Max and A&W Rugs and Carpets. Jill R. Bell Canyon read more

Max has been our carpet guy since the 70's. MAX IS GREAT! So are the three different KARISTAN CARPETS that he has alternately used to cover our house floors over the years. For the last carpet, we splurged and purchased the very best quality. It is everything Max said it would be and more. Puppies and several dogs enjoy romping daily on it, and so do we. Water cleans the spills and accidents, and the spots are gone. After about 15 years of wear and tear, the carpet looks new only needed to be stretched. Thanks Max, for getting right on the stretch job. Much appreciated, Jackie and Karin read more

My husband and I bought wall to wall carpet from A W Rugs and Carpet for our town home in 2020. We met Max and he was so kind and helpful. Everything went smoothly even during Covid. We loved the carpet! My husband died in 2021 and a year later I rescued a dog... or she rescued me. It was a learning process for both of us. Dog owners get this. :) There were accidents on the carpet and I did not know how to clean it correctly. It was smelly and a mess. I called Max who was so kind and considerate of my situation. He helped me right away and sent one of his workers over to replace the damaged area. He was also so very helpful. It looks amazing! There are few owners now a days that really go above and beyond to help someone who is struggling. He is a good soul. You can bet on trusting him to give his best helping you! Thank you Max! read more

I compared Karastan rugs online and they got the lowest prices anywhere in the US, with an option to return to the store (the best deal!). Plus they got hundreds of rugs in stock which helped us look at the actual rug, try it at home, and find the best one! The store owner Max is super nice and was very knowledgeable. Totally recommend their service! read more

Wow! I looked all over town and the Internet only to be grateful to find Max and his associate. They have an excellent selection of area rugs and are extremely knowledgable about their products. However, the best part is that they will not only match but beat any price ( brick&mortar or online). I walked away with not one but 3 beautiful area rugs. I highly recommend checking them out, you won't be disappointed. read more

AW Rugs & Carpet - One of the rugs I purchased. Couldn't be more satisfied! - Carpeting Near Me - Van Nuys, California

I came here 20 years ago when my friend bought her own home. She bought an area rug for her living room and it's just as beautiful today as the day she bought it. Fast forward to 2019. My husband and I just installed new flooring in our home... made the move from carpet to hardwood and needed area rugs. We bought three rugs from Max. They are beautiful! He even customized one to fit our needs. Max is the best and his selection is second to none. Suggestion: Don't shop for rugs online. Nothing compares to seeing a rug in its true colors, touching it with your own hands, and being able to see the quality of its construction. Save yourself a lot of time and effort and go straight to Max for your flooring needs. read more

We needed a quality rug for our living room. After some online research I found the AW Rugs and Carpet website. We chose a Karastan rug, which I ordered online. I followed my online order up with a phone call to confirm my order. I am extremely satisfied with the service of this company - and the quality of the rug and the pad. The pad was shipped separately and when I called Max he was able to give me the tracking number and even followed up with an additional call to make sure that we had received both items. The price of the rug was extremely competitive compared with other online sellers. Delivery was prompt. I would highly recommend AW Rugs and Carpet! read more

Max, Thank you for insisting that I change the shag rug. My customer was so happy with the thicker plush you suggested! It was well worth the hassle and the room would not have looked as good if it wasn't for you. You're a good and honest man, a pleasure to do business with. michelle read more

I wanted to purchase a rug from a carpet store in Northern VA, however the store didn't have the size I needed and told me the rug had been discontinued. I went online and found AW Carpet had the carpet, but in a larger size than I needed. The owner, Max cut the rug to my specifications, bound it and shipped it to me in less than a week's time. It's hard to find this kind of customer service anymore and I really appreciate it. Thanks so much, Max. read more

Instead of writing my review at the time of installation of our living room and home office carpeting, I decided to wait and see. Now I am ready. The carpets were installed October 20th. We decided on a warm, Fabrica carpet for our living room. For my husband's home office he decided upon a dark brown, 100% New Zealand wool carpet. Both carpets were professional installed on a Saturday morning. All the carpeting was very reasonably priced. Max is a dream to work with. His knowledge is amazing. His color sense is also amazing. I just wish we had more rooms to install carpet!!! read more
