    Warning to anyone who that needs a car rental at the AVIS Temecula location. If Avis was committed to their Guidance for Car Rental Cleaning & Safety procedures. CDC recommendations for COVID-19. Also quarantine any cars which may have come into contact with Coronavirus. I thought the car rental industry was doing everything it can to help customers during this pandemic. Cleaning supplies should be ready and available at any location. A customer should not have to remind them. On November 10th,, the car I picked up at Avis (27315 Jefferson Ave, Temecula, CA} was extremely filthy with stains and where someone (got sick) on the door panels. The car also had Covid papers in between the passenger front seat and console. After letting her know of our concerns She responded "I can give you a can of air freshener. Also was told there was nothing she could do to help us because this was a pick-up location only. We were responsible for driving the rental to ONTARIO if we were not satisfied and if we wanted another car. I needed to be in SF at a certain time. I was getting misinformation from every Avis customer service 800 numbers I was told to call about trying to rectify this situation. I was told this location was a corporate location, because it was listed as a corp on website. But Avis agents said it was not. Maybe they feel like they don't have to follow CDC guidelines or Avis guidance for safety. I could not believe this was happening during this Covid-19 pandemic. Avis is dishonest and are in the practice of telling customers straight up lies to just get you in the door. When you have a complaint, they really want you to move on. It is not their problem. Now you are in a hard rock situation and at their mercy. You cannot get a refund immediately and go to another company or find another way to get you to your destination. This is a Crime and shame on Avis for putting people at risk of contracting this Virus. I took pics of everything to prove my complaint against Avis. If negative stars were an option, they would have received that rating instead. (droved approx. 55 miles Temecula to Ontario paid $15.75. to refill a gas tank that I believe was not full when picked up). This could have been avoidable.

    Economy sized. Headroom in the back is minimal

I picked up a car and waited about 50 minutes to be helped, then when I dropped off I waited about another 40. They do not answer the phones very often because the employees are oversaturated with customers, and while I feel for them, I was still inconvenienced by the lack of staffing and so were many other people I saw and spoke to. There is also a fee of $500 that is added at the end if you pay with debit, which is reimbursed after you return the car.. I'm not sure if that is standard procedure for car rental places but it came as an unwanted surprise for me. This review is primarily negative due to the long wait times, though.

When picking up the car, there was only one agent and got there at 8am for my rental scheduled at 8am but the doors were closed but then waited a bit and it was opened but another person had beat me to it. So had To wait until they were done. More people can after me so I'm sure it took them a while to get serviced. For me, probably left with key in hand around 845. No problem with getting a car and satisfied with the car given to me. Only thing is, it wasn't Cleaned Up. The interior you can tell was not vacuumed since the last person who rented it. But I guess I can't say much, since I returned it and I know for sure they had to vacuum it for the next person. Hey we went camping to sequoia, what'd you expect. Returning was just as easy and quick, well once it was my turn. Got there a little after 8am but this time there were two agents and both were helping two customers ahead of me. So was there for a half hour. between waiting and then being helped. So can't complain, and plan on renting from this location in the future.

No need to wait on hold to get a rep and beg. Accomplished it through a simple text message. The return was great as well. Quick and hassle free! It has been my experience, especially with Enterprise, that if you're having issues it's usually YOUR fault. Show up with all your documents, proper payment, and reasonable expectations and you'll be fine!

    1 Star - Absolute Waste of Time…read more I reserved a car with a 6:00 PM pickup time, which YOUR system allowed me to select. While driving to the location, I called ahead because I noticed they close at 6. I was then told that 5:50 PM is their "cutoff" and that since I'd be arriving at 6, I couldn't get the car I already reserved. So let me get this straight: If 5:50 is the cutoff, WHY does your system allow a 6:00 PM reservation? This caused me to waste time, money, and completely disrupted my plans I ubered there and had to uber back. No warning, no notification, no accountability--just "too bad." This is either terrible communication or a broken reservation system, and either way it's unacceptable for a company this size. If you can't honor reservations at the time you allow customers to book, don't offer that time. Simple. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience.

When you're in an auto accident it is a time consuming, painful (mentally & physical), emotional just to name a few. Enterprise made our inconvenient situation to a more convenient situation. The staff are super friendly and fast. We've tried other rental car companies in the area any most are fair to good but Enterprise is Outstanding. I won't mention the name of the company but when we went to go pick up our rental car there was three people in office and no cars to rent on the parking lot! He didn't even have her on speakerphone and I could hear her tone just sitting next to him. If you're having a bad day, I hope your day gets better. But, I pray you never have to be in the situation we have been in which is already a high stress situation and your unkindness and lack of customer service has not helped in any way. My husband is a very laid back and chill guy and for him to say you were not very nice is saying a lot. We did not use your location, we just called for availability and was rudely rushed off the phone and was told you had no rentals available. We went around the corner to the Ynez location where we treated like valued customers .
