I originally booked through Expedia for $240 for the entire trip, but upon arrival, additional fees and a deposit were added, bringing the total to nearly $500. These charges were not clearly disclosed during booking, which was very disappointing. I highly recommend calling Expedia or the rental company directly before booking to clarify all fees upfront. Otherwise, you may end up paying significantly more than expected.

Horrible. Customer service was non existent…read more Would not accommodate someone who experiences disability regarding the difficulty in having an all electric car. (It was a mystery car!!??) We explained at airport counter and again at location in Goodyear. We returned the car within 2 hours and Avis at the Hampton Inn charged us $120. When we asked to keep car they said they couldn't cancel the return. So we left car there paying $120 to drive for 2 hours. Horrible customer service in everyway. Both agent at airport and Caby Welsh Store Manager at Hampton Inn. Sometimes families ARE the exception (do not fit the box) WE DID NOT KNOW OUR MYSTERY CAR WAS ALM ELECTRIC- but nit even slight accommodation given for the difficulty of managing an electric car for someone with mental/developmental disabilities. Called and explained to both locations but they both refused to adjust our reservation. They did not even try to arrange for a solution at all. Their motto is not even close to being accurate. Never again AVIS.

First off, if you are someone interested in this place, MAKE SURE YOU KNOW what the place is…read more They check your credit. Get you approved or not approved. (They'll approve you). Then you take whatever it is you need, home. Then you pay either every week, every 2 weeks, or every month. But this store pushes every week. The man who helped us was very very rude. He had no manners, even for a salesman. He was wayyyy to sleazy. He tried to get us to sign papers BEFORE even seeing interest rates, prices, and all that jazz. He wasn't helpful with explaining the papers and he left a lot of stuff out. Rent a center makes their money on pricing their products 400% higher than on the market. So be careful. It sounds nice to only pay $12 a week for 3 years. But you'll end up paying wayyyy too much. This store particularly was just so rude and I'm very grateful we saw through their scheme. I totally understand they are sales people. But definitely not good at their job.

I believe her name was Alexis or Alex, I apologize if I'm remembering it incorrectly. The first time I interacted with her, I had a lot of extra baggage, and without hesitation she helped carry it all the way to my rental car. The second time, I was dealing with an issue involving my travel agent and rental reservation, and once again, she went out of her way to help me get everything sorted out. Both times, she was nothing but smiles, positivity, and genuinely great customer service. She made stressful travel situations significantly easier, and experiences like this are the reason I have such a positive impression of National. Employees like her are an incredible asset to the company, and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.
