Service is absolutely amazing. I have this weird habit of having to make a book cover for my new books. Staff kindly offered me a few options for my book cover and I eventually decided to use brown paper. I got my new book and covered it with protective paper on the spot. They are very accommodating. There's plenty of other events whether it be Magic, Pokemon, DnD, or any number of other games. I highly recommend this store for anyone who is interested in getting into a trading card game or just finding a group of people to play with. Additionally, the play area is in a slightly separate area from the main storefront which I think makes it more approachable if you are just shopping and if you're in the play area it feels like a place you can hangout.

Edit: To clarify, I found it pretty disappointing that there was an entire shelf dedicated to European history, and another shelf generalized as "world history". Within the "world history" shelf, I saw a row of books specifically about Israel and Zionism, albeit not labeled as such. The only book with Palestine in the title was on display, but on the back cover it specified that it recounts the "experiences of Zionist women settling in Palestine", and not indigenous Palestinians. I scanned the shelf and didn't see a single book about Palestine, despite a fair number on Israel. Given how charged this topic is with the ongoing genocide in Gaza, I felt uncomfortable as it seemed that the bookstore had taken an intentional stance by not providing, at the very least, accounts of both sides of the matter.

Well, its more of a 700 - 1,100% mark up to be real. I was holding very small smokey towers that were marked at $450+ that I can buy direct from Brazil for $19 (plus shipping) and I'm not even exaggerating. A Lemurian point for $650 that I can buy for $50 in Brazil direct. I knew better and walked out empty handed. But, I can see how someone who doesn't know better might think they are getting a good deal. They run specials like, 50% off cut base amethyst. Or, 70% off pieces $2,000 or more. But, when you do the math, even with the discounts, you are still "over paying" per kilo. I only buy if the math makes sense. And the math doesn't make sense here. Beautiful store though. And super friendly staff that can chat up about rocks.
