There are very few decent crystal shops in the bay area, and this is definitely one of the better ones. Really good variety of good quality stones in various forms (Palm Stones, loose small pieces, spheres, towers, carved animals, etc). Spoke to the owner and she hand picks the selection and she's got a great eye. Good selection of labradorite with nice flash. Nice selection of deep purple amethyst forms. And the prices are very fair, which can't be said of many other shops I've been to like in Los Gatos, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco. A lot of SF shops have horrible quality stuff unfortunately. They only restock new stuff once a year it seems but it's worth visiting this shop if you're in the area. The owner was very helpful and opened up any display case I wanted to see without a fuss. I thought it was so cool that I got to go behind the counter and pick frame options off the wall - they really have everything you could ever need! We found a matte and frame that worked well with my other degree, which I brought for reference. The whole thing was under $300, which was very reasonable for what I ordered! They also gave me a discount for being a first-time customer and they also offer teacher discounts! The framing was estimated to take 6 weeks, which was a little long. However, the wait is worth it, as they custom-order and shape the frame to your needs. My order was finished in a little less than that timeline, which I appreciated. They also gave me hanging advice and tips for where it would look best. I love how it turned out and will definitely be back when I next have something special to commemorate!
