We purchased soooo many beautiful flowers from this flower shop for our wedding two weeks ago. My amazing cousin was the one to create my bouquet and all the florals for the wedding but the quality of these flowers was AMAZING!!!! We ordered the flowers 2 weeks before the event, I showed the staff a few photos of images I had liked and they helped me plan and prepare for how many flowers I'd need and we talked price point. This place is super reasonable and realistic. I love how authentic the people were and truly the quality of the flowers was amazing. Our wedding was over 2 weeks ago, and we still have a center piece with flowers from Strelitzia's. 10/10 couldn't recommend this place any more!! read more

Absolutely beautiful flowers! The staff worked very kindly with me to make sure the bouquet was just right, I will be back!

What great service! I was able to order a last minute Valentine bouquet and balloon for my daughter. The selections were great and not too expensive! I opted for a lovely bouquet filled with orange/pink roses and pink carnations! The delivery was just as requested and arrived right on time as my daughter was done with her classes at UCD. Any bride In the Sacramento/Davis area should definitely check out Strelitzia flower company. They have an amazing variety of flowers, and a whole sale fridge to plan for custom areangements. The flowers were decently priced (not the cheapest, not the most expensive either). They have a great selection for those that don't know much about flowers. The florists were so nice and helpful. They can build you a custom quote with the flowers you want. You can also rent out buckets for free, as long as you bring the buckets back. I also like that ordering flowers via phone is easy as well. read more

just now New I hired this company to do flower arrangements and center pieces (and some extra decor for my tables) for my 200 guest wedding. Everything absolutely breathtaking! It was a lot more flowers and arrangements than I even anticipated! Samantha and her team went above and beyond for our special day and we are so happy. The center pieces and table set ups were elevated and elegant. The quality of the flowers was amazing and all the vases and votives were beautiful. It created such a romantic environment and we got endless compliments on all aspects of the flowers and tables. Samantha was always so on top of everything and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Cannot recommend this company enough! read more

To any future bride I would 100% recommend hiring a florist and I would 100% recommend Strelitzia to be your florist for your wedding. A florist, specifically Sam and the rest of her team at Strelitzia does so many things seen and unseen that help make your wedding day super special and stress-free. The time they spend designing, sourcing, and setting up the florals etc. is worth every penny. Strelitzia has a really transparent pricing guide and an easy to fill out order form that makes the process seamless. Their communication is professional and their response time to messages are really quick. The florals for my wedding was everything I dreamed of and more from delivery to installation! Sam delivered my bouquets to the place I was getting ready and greeted me with such warmth and joy. When she laid down the florals on the table my bridesmaids and I were gushing over how beautiful they were. All the flowers were fresh, carefully arranged, and had just enough water in them to last the day. For the ceremony and reception I had the most gorgeous flower arch and table arrangements! It made the space elegant and breathtaking. I love that all my pretty wedding floral dreams came true. I love that I felt so seen and known by Strelitizia. I love that I had the best florals for my wedding. For your wedding or any event, go with Strelitzia as your florist. Also take time to get to know Sam and her team too, they pour out a lot of love and care to future brides or even those planning events on their social media and at the wedding vendor open houses which made it such an easy choice to go with Strelitizia for our wedding! read more

A forever customer. I called 5 florists before calling Strelitzia and I wish I would have called them first. They were very helpful and friendly on the phone. They also took a very last minute same day delivery for a custom bouquet. I went with the "country corner" bouquet and added orange roses and burgundy amaranth. The flowers are fresh and the arrangement is beautiful. They did not skimp on density at all. Very much worth the price & my step mom said it was the most gorgeous flowers she had ever received. Strelitzia Flower Company is exceptional and I'm so glad I went with them for a delivery of Valentine's Day flowers. They delivered on time and as stated to my daughter's dorm, but unfortunately they were stolen before she could even see them. Strelitzia employees were so helpful throughout everything, and they ended up delivering a new set of flowers and chocolates that I had ordered, plus they threw in a couple of extra things for my daughter. And I had chosen the dinosaur pot with flowers, so they kept everything dino-themed and it was fantastic. I wasn't expecting such caring customer service. Will definitely be using them again and recommending them to anyone in that area. Thank you, Strelitzia Flower Company read more

Beautiful flowers - my friend was cheered and delighted. Strelitzia is the go-to florist in Davis. Their web interface was easy to use The delivery was same day. Very impressive. I cannot say enough good things about Strelitzia Flower Company! A special shoutout to our coordinator, Samantha, who truly went above and beyond in bringing my wedding vision to life. We had our wedding on a marina in August, and I wanted the decor to be tropical and vibrant with lots of bright florals, as flowers are such an important part of the overall aesthetic for me. Samantha and her team did an incredible job creating arrangements that perfectly captured what I had imagined. They not only looked stunning but were also thoughtfully designed to be easily moved and repurposed throughout the day--one of the highlights being the gorgeous dessert table setup (which was definitely my favorite!). The florals truly transformed the space and made the day even more special. I'm so grateful for the work they did, and I wholeheartedly recommend Strelitzia Flower Company to anyone looking for breathtaking arrangements and top-notch service. I give you guys 4.5 stars. I like how clean the shop is and I like how hard you guys make arrangements/bouquets and i like how all the staff is very close like a family. Our wedding was 7 months ago and I'm still so in love with the floral arrangements that Strelitzia did for us. I provided a list of all of my floral needs, as well as my budget and they worked with me to keep it as close to the budget and vision as possible. I shared my wedding color pallet, arrangement inspiration photos, and pictures of the bridesmaids dresses and told them that they could choose the flowers as long as they went well with everything I sent them. I wasn't sure what the final florals would look like but I was blown away! I could not recommend them enough. They really understood the vision that I wanted for my wedding day. read more

The Strelitzia team absolutely blew us away on our wedding day. We talked with Sam a couple of times before the wedding to sort out colors and styles for our florals and she ran away with a design that we can't help but describe as better than our wildest dreams. All we told her was our budget (which was tight), our colors and what we would like to see at the altar and on guest tables. The results were magic. The Freestanding floral pillars at the top of the aisle were unforgettable, the bouquets matched the pinks and reds of the bridal party perfectly, and everything that the team put together for the ceremony was easily repurposed for the reception. Nothing went to waste, and we got exactly what we wanted. Our only complaint was that we didn't get the chance to thank Sam in person! Thank you to the entire team, you made our day! read more

- I came across Strelitza during a wedding expo at Cal Expo. What they had on display was beautiful and what made me so interested in them was that they offered a DIY option to cater to brides who wanted a more affordable option. - They are located in Davis which was a very nice drive, their facility was very nice and spacious, they also have a space where you are able to put together your DIY creations with your bridesmaids as needed. - When consulting with Sam, my fiancé at the time and I were able to go over the floral we needed for our wedding in May. Sam even mentioned floral for things we didn't even think of at the time. - We decided to do the DIY to save a little bit of money given that our guest count was around 400+ and would need plenty of center pieces for the number of tables we would have. - Covid happened, we had cut the number of guests that we invited and was able to change out the DIY to having Sam and her team at Strelitza put together all the floral décor we needed to make our wedding day amazing at the last minute. - Sam and her assistant were able to bring the wedding bouquets and boutonnieres up to our hotel rooms as well as ready to roll with the centerpieces down at our reception hall. They actually forgot the flower girl wands, but as soon as they realized, they were able to bring them before the ceremony without hesitation. - The floral was absolutely amazing, we had DIY'd our centerpiece bases and the top was able to be stabilized and everyone loved how it turned out! (Our guests even thought the whole centerpieces were from the hotel reception hall!) - Thank you Sam and your team for doing what you do and hope that we inspire others to book you in the future. read more

I love having fresh flowers in my apartment - it's such a cute, simple little pick-me up and always puts me in a great mood! I've been getting my flowers at Trader Joes before but my friend introduced me to Strelitzia!! I'm blown away! Walking into Strelitzia felt like a floral paradise. A cart full of plushies of all sizes, a balloon rack, walls of vases and other floral containers, and a refrigerated wall of ready-to go gorgeous arrangements! We were immediately greeted and helped, and when I had expressed hoping to buy flowers by the bunch, they showed me to their freezer area after a quick temperature scan. So, so, so many flowers! We picked out two bunches of long stem roses and a bunch of pretty carnations. Strelitzia has amazing service - they noticed that the carnations bunch had a dead edge, and immediately picked out a better bunch and explained the difference to me! We also didn't realize that the roses we bought came in bunches of 30 instead of 15, so imagine my surprise when I got home to unwrap the bunch, only to find extra roses! Such a happy day! We ended up commandeering all of the spare boxes we had around the house to make gorgeous rose boxes! I'm so excited for them to open up fully - they make gorgeous statement pieces around my home! Definitely hoping to make this my new weekly spot for fresh flowers - I have my eye set on some sunflowers next time! read more

We live out of town and needed to plan a burial service. Strelitzia did an amazing job, executed exactly what I had in mind. Have used Strelitzia a few times throughout the years, but over the years I've become more and more disappointed. Now that I'm out of town, I rely on the online order for sending flowers to friends and family still in Davis. Online works well and their delivery turnaround is strong (although pretty expensive). But the last two times I've ordered I've been really disappointed with the results. The flowers that were received were much greener and less varied than the images posted online. I wish they would deliver what they actually advertise, whether that means raising prices or posting images that were truer to what they actually send. EDIT: So I'm guessing that someone saw the review, because the next day my mom got an unexpected delivery with a very nice arrangement and a note stating that this was the delivery she was supposed to get. I really liked the fact that they handled this without even contacting me, and I'm changing my original 2 star rating up to a 3. The way they handled the replacement was 5 star, but the fact that the under-delivery happened and has happened before keeps me from bumping the overall review up to that level. read more

Holy cow, If you are looking for show stopping flowers, look no further! Our wedding was unconventional, we had it at the bride's childhood home and the theme was Surreal Disco. We were eager to find a florist who was on board with bright colors and bold choices. We found Strelitzia through Instagram, and were struck by another disco inspired floral design they posted about. It was a match made in heaven! Not only were they excellent at executing our visions, but Sam was so enthusiastic about the theme, and made a bunch of invaluable suggestions. They ended up having special disco ball planters for us, and the flowers were to die for. Sam was incredibly warm and professional, I would highly recommend booking Strelitzia for all floral needs! read more
