This is a gorgeous gift shop that I've been purchasing from for at least several years now, if not more. Here, you will find all types of goods- beautiful shawls, crystals, malas of all types, Buddhist jewelry and tapestries, fine jewelry, incense, and statues. All very reasonably priced- from sub-10 dollars to hundreds, depending on what you are after. The shop has moved recently and is less easy to find. The owner is such a thoughtful and knowledgeable man, but he has informed me that business hasn't been going as well since the move. If you are at all interested in Nepalese clothing, crystals, incense, or Tibetan Buddhist items, please come check this place out. Your business will be much-appreciated. read more

WOW - this place has everything. I needed a gift for my mother's 80th and was trying to find something unique and boy did I! The moment I entered the store I was met with a soft aroma of incense, not cloying at all like many shops these days. I navigated the multitude of cases against the wall and standing until I spied "the one"! I engaged the owner to look for a specific gem ring, and he happily accommodated with several choices. I wish I'd had more time to browse as there was way more than just jewelry to admire. Beautiful variety of wares and definitely my go-to when driving through Davis for future gift buying. My favorite shop in Davis! Today was my first time visiting the new location on G Street. They have a beautiful selection of jewelry, stones, bags, clothing, tapestries and more. I usually come for the necklaces but I also LOVE the pants. The shop owner is very sweet and will answer any questions you have. He even offered to swap the chain on a necklace I chose for a newer one. Cannot recommend this place enough! read more

I like it here a lot. It's very hipster in a sense. The owner keeps to himself ish but is open to hella questions and request etc. As I walked in I was hit with loud smells of incense and awash with the music of tibet. It takes you in a journey. Not many places do that. The shop Carrie's basically everything from beads, incense, rings, gemstones, Crystal's, prayer flags, singing bowls. He has it all. :) I have bought mult bracelets here and they are holding up nice. Expect random quality if you're getting them from the cheap bin but sometimes there are nice finds. He also demonstrates the singing bowls really well and educates on it if you're interested in buying one. I totally bought one. And these are legit. The bowls are heavy and have metal carving markers in them and etchings. Def come here to buy a dining bowl if that is what you want. I did and I love mine. read more

This shop is severely dissapointing. I bought a citrine tower there, priced at 30 dollars for a 2 inch peice, when i showed it to a geologist friend they assured me it was not real citrine. I also bought an amber ring for 120 dollars. After less than 2 months of wear the band is severely warped and the stone has fallen out. Furthermore this shop is far from inclusive as they don't sell rings any larger than size 7 for men or women and the obnoxious shop owner repeatedly spoke down to me for being a woman with a size 9 ring finger. The lack of transparency and unprofessional behavior combined with the consistently overpriced junk makes this shop a real dissapointment ​considering it could have great potential. read more

Prepare to be inspired in this Tibetan inspired trinket/gift store. There is much to explore. Whether you're in the store for jewelry, which they have a ton of precious stone metal pendants, earrings, necklaces, and the like. Or if you are looking for charcoal discs to light incense with, it's all here under one room. This store is well spread out, so there's a lot to soak in. I love the room that just has banners with quotes from famous authors. The words inspire me to be something or do something I couldn't find the courage to do before. There is clothing, purses, wallets from Nepal. I also enjoy seeing the trinkets that are meant to capture a thought or feeling. Rocks that say Namaste or crystal lotus flowers that capture the light. It's all very awe inspiring if you look at it all with the right lens. The one thing you will not get in this store is harassed by the main sales clerk. There approach is very hands off. If you need something, they'll answer your question. Otherwise, they're not really interested in engaging in conversation. It can be a stress relief to be left on one's own to explore, but it also can feel like take it or leave it, it's all the same to them. Not that that's a bad approach, it just might come across as being distant to some. Still, I can't wait for my next visit. It was very therapeutic just to be in there. read more

Love this place and happy we found it today. Discovered this place on a whim while we were in the area. Totally adore the ambiance and feel of the place. Very chill. The guy working answered all my questions on the spot and assisted whenever I needed him to. Nothing wrong with that but he just seemed so busy and in a rush to get his tasks completed that when I asked about certain items his explanations were so brief, I felt like there was more he could've shared but didn't. But don't worry I think we just caught him on a very busy morning so we will definitely be back to buy more cool things! We were able to pick up a small bundle of sage, sandalwood and Indian song incense and a neat incense burning box with a cute swiveling bottom for incense storage! So yeah definitely check this place out if you're in the area. read more

Just walking into this store is an experience in itself. Buddhist and Hindu statues cover the entire store, along with beautiful jewelry and thankas. Himalayan incense can be found everywhere, as well as little trinkets. Pictures and cards of Buddhist/Hindu deities can be bought as well, which is great if you adore religious art or for worship. The guy working at this store keeps to himself, but can answer any questions about his store. If you're in the area, I highly recommend going to this store. read more

This is a great shop. They moved location in the past couple of years but I have been shopping with him since the mid 80's. This shop has had a major effect on me and my spiritual journey. I stumbled upon this place when I was going to high school in davis. The shop owner was always pleasant and inviting even to a young kid just looking around. Over the years it become my go-to place to buy tibetan items. They have a wide range of items from jewelry, statues, clothing, cds, incense, and on and on. If you are in the area go check them out. I NEVER do reviews, but it's a must for what happened the other day. I walked into the store and the guy working there doesn't greet me or anything (which is fine it's whatever for me). I roam around and was looking at some pants that I thought were cute. I asked him if he had a size larger than the one I had just to try on which one would fit better and when he said no.. I asked him if I could try the ones I had in my hands on and his response was, "oh those won't fit you"... why would you say that to a customer or anyone in general. I thought it was completely rude and unacceptable. So i decided to throw the pants back on the rack and leave and while I was leaving he tried to get me to still try them on but did not apologize or showed any sort of concern. Overall the things are cool but his attitude and customer service are complete TRASH. I would have given him a negative 5 star review because of his rude comment he made. read more

Davis friends and i used to come here to shop on a regular basis during our fun times together. we were in the class of 1999. i am a huge jewelry lover, so this distinctive treasure trove definitely had my name all over it! back in the day, Hera, the owner always treated us with such love and kindness! i will always remember the way he helped us in any way possible just so that we were able to bring home some prized treasures! my love is for distinctive jewelry, but Hera stocks his shop with many other lovely curios as well so there's literally something for everyone. i hope you have a chance to see this review, Hera, because I sure do miss shopping there since I live far away now! Been coming here for years.It delivers on it'a name, stuff from Tibet & Nepal. Plus just a variety of other cool stuff, all things, Buddhist and Hippy (minus the paraphernalia). I like that it has a big variety for gift giving in a wide range of prices. My girlfriend loves the place, especially the clothes and accessories so that's often where I take her for birthday and other special gifts for her to pick out.
