Really good variety of good quality stones in various forms (Palm Stones, loose small pieces, spheres, towers, carved animals, etc). Spoke to the owner and she hand picks the selection and she's got a great eye. Good selection of labradorite with nice flash. Nice selection of deep purple amethyst forms. And the prices are very fair, which can't be said of many other shops I've been to like in Los Gatos, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco. A lot of SF shops have horrible quality stuff unfortunately. They only restock new stuff once a year it seems but it's worth visiting this shop if you're in the area. The owner was very helpful and opened up any display case I wanted to see without a fuss. I ended up picking up a great malachite sphere.

The store has a wide variety and nice selection of goods. You can find plenty of products from most categories. Academic supplies, clothing, food products, books, toys. In terms of service, I really wouldn't expect anything one way or another. Not because they are bad or anything; the employees here are predominantly students of the school itself. This means employment is a bit of a revolving door, so they may not be able to help if you need something specific. Overall, I quite like this place. It isn't cheap, but it is certainly useful and convenient.

They also gave me a discount for being a first-time customer and they also offer teacher discounts! The framing was estimated to take 6 weeks, which was a little long. However, the wait is worth it, as they custom-order and shape the frame to your needs. My order was finished in a little less than that timeline, which I appreciated. They also gave me hanging advice and tips for where it would look best. I love how it turned out and will definitely be back when I next have something special to commemorate!

The store doesn't offer posters of the university or of anything really, except the egghead sculptures. No thanks. They do offer plenty of gifts and accessories though, including a collection of UCD sanrio products. Being on campus, of course they sell electronics as well as textbooks downstairs. When making my purchase, the staff ran into technical issues at the front counter, but they eventually found a resolution without too much of a delay. Parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays.

This is the most enchanting little store I've ever seen. I don't even live in Davis but I'll make the drive to Creme de la Creme because it is so special. The owner went out of her way to help me find the perfect gifts for my daughters. She had great suggestions and asked the most thoughtful questions to determine exactly what they would like. She then offered complimentary gift wrap which I so appreciated. With her excellent service and beautiful merchandise she is such an asset to downtown Davis. I feel happy just walking through the door of this sweet little shop and can't wait to go back and see the lovely owner the next time I need that special gift. read more

Creme de la Creme is such an adorable, enchanting, and happy shop in downtown Davis. The shop is filled with different housewares, aprons, pajamas, robes, and has French music filling the air. This is one of the many reasons it is my favorite store in Davis. Also, because the owner, Christie, is so nice and helpful, and greets you every time you walk in.
