Located in a fairly quiet yet spacious strip mall at the corner of E. 8th St. and M St., this particular Goodwill has been serving the Davis community since early-2013. Since it was my first ever time checking this store out (which was for about 45 minutes), I had a pretty good idea how this review would pan out. I came here during the evening on Saturday 7/25/2026 at around 7:00pm. Parking was relatively easy to find while the building showcases the business name in very large blue letters; definitely not easy to miss. There is also a dedicated donation area adjacent to the rear right of the building. And as is the case with many other Goodwill locations around Northern California, this one is open 7 days a week from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Upon entry, one noticeable thing about this Goodwill is that it is significantly smaller than many other locations. The mustard-colors walls give this a slightly more 'boutique' style look while mens/womens/kids apparel, shoes, books, and DVDs are laid out fairly well. There is also an additional room that is separate from the main floor that boasts housewares, kitchenware, and small appliances. This is also where two gender neutral restrooms are located. Sadly, this Goodwill (and just about every other one) eliminated fitting rooms. The reason for 3 stars? I have noticed that prices here are a tad bit higher than what you'd find at the Sacramento locations. Their selection is fairly decent but I only left with just a couple small items. Would I recommend it? Absolutely since the merchandise changes on just about a daily basis. But for me, this Goodwill was just average at best for me which is why I am giving them a 3-star rating.

New, vintage, handmade, secondhand, costumes, gifts, all of it packed into multiple rooms so you can lose time in there real fast. It is organized in a loose charming way but also you absolutely need both hands free and a plan or you will black out and emerge with five things you did not intend to buy. I also loved that some pieces actually have little stories attached, like the hand dyed linen set I grabbed from the owner which made it feel extra special. Prices are super reasonable, from outside bargain racks to more curated finds, and honestly it is the perfect spot if you ever need an outfit for an event or a last minute themed moment. I would 100 percent drive back just for this place.

Me & my friends were in love with the various accessories they had available when we went, from cool looking goggles to rainbow umbrella hats. Yesterday Vintage is full of fun finds, with plenty of Harley pieces mixed in that give the whole place a little edge. Love that the inclusive sizing feels intentional and not like an afterthought. Prices are super fair for vintage, which makes it dangerously easy to justify "just one thing." Staff is genuinely friendly without hovering, letting you wander and discover at your own pace. As a family with both an elder in a wheelchair and a toddler in a stroller it really is a huge turn off if neither a wheelchair or stroller can shop with the same freedom as everybody else Aside from this the store starts operational work during business hours that prevents shopping.
