People were already filing in to play games and it looked like they had a community of regular players filing in. As usual, I was just curious about their WarHammer collection and it was a decent amount. I liked their table set up for Warhammer ready with tape measures and landscape. They had Pokemon and MTG commander packs and boosters available as well, my only complaint is that there was no price tag on their boxes and when we asked them how much the commander box was, they were looking up prices on their phone for a few minutes before we got a response. It made me think that they were going above msrp and just seemed shady. Just make sure as a customer you have an idea of what you're willing to pay for product. I'm all for supporting standing stores versus online, but not on this visit.

I happened upon this store thanks to a recommendation from the kind folks at Hammerhead Games…read more Unbeknownst to me, that shop is more of a destination for Magic the Gathering, and when I went in looking for Lorcana, they sent me to Gold Star Collectibles. This shop is a treasure! I'm not in the Sacramento area often, but whenever I am, I have to stop by to check out their selection of Pokemon and Lorcana cards. I find this store to be well stocked, and the employees are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their product. It's a little hard to find the store, as the windows seem to be always covered up. Parking is plentiful, although the turning in and out of this parking lot is a little sketch as it's on a major road. But it's all worth the risk! I've never walked out of here empty handed, and I have no regrets :)
