Come here for the nostalgic diner feel and fun airplane theme, and the views of the airplanes coming in and out of the runway. If you've got a kid who loves planes, this is the place! But honestly you can just walk out to the outdoor tables and enjoy the planes there without having to eat at the actual restaurant too. Menu prices are lower in comparison to other breakfast places but the options are pretty limited. I'm just glad they had a kids menu! I was shocked that it was already a packed restaurant and we got there 30 min after opening. We got one of the last tables. Then when we left, there was a line out the door of people waiting to get seated! It took about 20 minutes to get our food, and then we ordered a pancake which took another 20 minutes and arrived when we finally just asked for the check. Seemed like they had only 1 or 2 servers for the whole restaurant so just make sure you bring things for your kids to do while they wait for planes to fly by! Despite the pretty small menu, I did enjoy my Aviator plate which was basically a deconstructed Denver omelette. My eggs were cooked perfectly which is always a good sign. The pancake that we got for the kids was huge and fluffy, and the French toast was perfectly cooked. Simple but a hearty well-cooked meal.

I've been here a few times. Great place to grab some breakfast. Ordered a veggie omelette with fruit & English muffin. It was good. I like the fruit & the view. Staff were friendly. It was quite busy but we were seated quickly. They have a nice patio view but it was too cold but I can see how nice it is with warmer weather

We were here for end-of-year party for one of the local high school golf teams. Place is already decorated for Christmas. Food was served buffet style with teriyaki chicken and rice as one option, plus good 'ol pasta and meat sauce as another option. They also had sautéed Italian squash which was perfectly cooked. Everything was good. Went back for second helpings on the pasta and squash. Service was great. They had two events booked for evening, but Karen took care of us very well. Lots of wine/beer orders between the two events. If you're looking for group event, this place offers an affordable, no frills options. No room rental, minimum spend, etc.

Love coming to place. It's located in the "terminal" of Sacramento Executive Airport. The decor fits perfectly w replica/models of planes suspended from the ceiling. Dropped in after an early morning of golf at WLP. I seated myself. The waitress immediately came over...took my drink order. She returned quickly w my mix of orange and cranberry juice and I was ready to order While not on the menu...ordered the fried rice w 2 eggs over easy. Again, the ordered was delivered w/in 5 minutes. Eggs were perfectly made

We stop by after golf for breakfast. Such a cute place with airplanes hanging from the ceiling. Kody's of table seating & a few booths. Food is good. Salad bar looked good, may try it next time. You can watch planes take off. Service is great! Glad place is still open. Best part is, prices are great!

Excellent service ... First time here and it is a nice little place with great decorations (airplanes hanging from the ceiling) lots of aircraft coming in and out of the airport... The 3 of us had, club sandwich with onion rings . Sandwich was good but the onion rings didn't get cooked enough... still firm onions. The 2 egg with delicious bacon & pancake was very tasty...biscuits & gravy with eggs & bacon was good other than the biscuit was a little bit over cooked or over microwaved not sure what the issue was. The gravy was good had a little peppery bite to it. I am looking forward to returning to try other menu items.

We were there this past Saturday around 10:30am. It was rainy and foggy out. I think that led to the small crowd there, thus they had a sign out to seat yourself. We were on the go so we got a tea to go. We ended up drinking it in the Executive Airport. I love this place. They have a huge variety of food and great service. I love that you can watch the planes take off and land from the dining area.

Just recently attended a retirement party for a coworker here. We had something like 80 people in attendance. The restaurant facilities accommodated our group nicely. We had 2 different entrees, salad bar, and some very nicely prepared asparagus spears. The tender roast beef and the creamy chicken tip with fettuccini noodles tasted very good. I love the aviation-centered decor. It felt very comfortable and cozy here. Aviator's offers a lot more for large group gathers than a lot of other options around. Many of those other meeting spaces are boxy and sterile-feeling. This restaurant. has a lot of "cozy quotient" going on.

Great spot for some classic breakfast. This place is in the executive airport and is a staple in this neighborhood, so iykuk. The place is usually busy, especially on weekends, but I never had to wait. The service is nice and friendly, there are only 2 servers so they work really hard and do a good job. They have a straightforward menu but the one thing I recommend are the pancakes. These are delicious and could be the best in town and are a must. The omelets, skillets, and steak and eggs are all worth the price as this place is pretty reasonable. The pro tip that is not on the menu is the loco moco. You can get this hawaiian breakfast served with eggs, upgrade to fried rice, gravy, and a thick hamburger patty, which is delicious. This meal is a real treat! If you are looking for lunch options, my go-to is the burger as they use the same patty in the loco moco, and its pretty big. With great options, everything I have had has been very satisfying. If you love planes, and a classic diner feel, you will love Aviators!

So one of my friends told me to come here and support the owner if I could. I guess a few months ago he was going to lose his lease and hundreds of people came out to support him and the lease was renewed. This restaurant is inside the Executive Airport. It is like a museum of aviation. It has large model airplanes hanging from their ceilings. So nice looking and different. I took my buddy who was a pilot who said that this used to be a Red Baron steak house and it was the bomb in the 70's. Been through a few owners and the current one has been here for a long time. The place had a lot of people in it for breakfast time. It seems to be a meeting place for a lot of Asians. There was a men's group hanging out in the middle when I visited. They have a small seniors menu so I guess it's a good deal too. I got the meat lovers omelet and a waffle. the bacon was over cooked for me and was kind of hard. The waffle was good. The food is just ok. I don't think it's anything really mind blowing. Just decent. As for the ambiance they have that going for them. Who doesn't like watching planes at an airport. Be that it's a slow airport the view is nice. The model airplanes are really cook to see. They have a cockpit hanging over the salad bar. Pretty cool. I agree with the old guys . this is a nice place to hang out. The staff are really friendly and food is ok.

I just was there two weeks ago during the week and the service and the food were great. Today is Saturday. Service I asked for hot syrup, waitress said we don't have that. Put some in cup and nuke for 10 seconds. My water was never refilled. Is there a water shortage? My wife did not like roast beef sandwich, she ordered a club sandwich instead, waitress asked if we wanted it to go, we had to make it clear that we were not going to pay for roast beef, I believe there was a language problem and asked for manager, waitress eventually modified the bill. Rating 1 Eggs, bacon and French toast breakfast , cold syrup. Rate 4 Roast Beef Sandwich Salt bomb. Rate 2 Club Sandwich Just ok Rate 3

For 2025, we've decided to visit one local diner/breakfast spot a month. Aviator's was our first stop, in January. We stopped in on a Sunday morning. Service was quick. The downsides were that we never got a coffee refill, and there really aren't many choices if you don't eat meat. It sure is fun to sit and watch the planes, though.

This place has a very charming vibe to it. I really enjoy seeing the planes flying around. At the moment they are doing break and lunch only . Closes at 2:30. As you walk in and you seat yourself . Easy to read menu . Secret menu has the fried rice . The best fried rice !!!!! That's all I eat at this restaurant. Comes with two eggs . Low prices and good quality food . Good service. I recommend this place.

The server said the chicken fried steak was really good, so that was my choice. I thought that I would also enjoy the pork sausage gravy served on top of it since I love biscuit and gravy. I was quite disappointed in my choice because the steak as very tough, and dry, like it was not made in-house but probably frozen, and deep fried in house. The generous serving of gravy on top was lacking any flavor and was on the pasty side, so it didn't help the steak in any way. My toast was cold, which was not too much an issue, but the hardness of the toast was like day old left over toast. I told the server the steak was pretty tough but he chose to ignore my comment twice. I did like the potatoes, which were nice and crispy, but if anything, would've like a fresher piece of toast. One of our guest gave me her butter and that did not spread well on the hard toast. I took the steak home, and heated it a little because I was still hungry, but after one bite, I just tossed it. Just wasn't good. The guest next to me did order the omelette, and her omelette did look very good. I was just unhappy with my meal, for the price, which would've been worth it, if it were good.

Our waitress came over shortly after. I see a lot of mixed reviews about the service, and I think some staff members are friendlier and more outgoing than others, but even the less friendly servers were still attentive, helpful, and quick. I think it just depends on who you get and whether you value a really friendly interaction or care more about the food and basic service. We tried a cappuccino since the host said they make all their coffee in-house, and it was pretty good, especially coming from someone who doesn't drink coffee. We chose the fried green tomatoes as our starter, and they were delicious. I'd never had them before but had always heard how iconic of a Southern dish they are. They were really well balanced with the aioli and feta, and the tomatoes themselves were juicy and fresh. I had to go with the shrimp po' boy, which was also really good. The shrimp were pretty big and tasted fresh, complemented well by the really light, airy, buttery bread and fresh vegetables inside. The fries were also a plus! I enjoyed everything I ordered and would definitely come back to try some other things. I will say it was a bit pricey for brunch for two people, with the bill coming out to around $80 with tip. I guess that's just the day and age we live in now, though. I thought the portions were decently sized. We gave them our phone number and that I turn gave us a wait list update. They have a cool app. It shows you how many people are in line, how many in each party and how long each group has been waiting. It made me feel more confident that the wait time was fair. They weren't just cherry picking who got seated next. No buying your way to the front of the line. The wait time was standard and according to my husband part of the experience. I tried to get our group's eta in hopes that we could get there 30-45 minutes before the rest of the group so we all didn't have to wait that long, but instead we all arrived at practically the same time. Thankfully there was no complaining. My husband did get everyone drinks at the bar while we were waiting so that helped. At one time the Pozole was only offered on their brunch menu, now it appears you can order it all day. I tried to order it earlier this year and I was denied. Either way I was craving it so I ordered it. It was really good. I loved doing all the cabbage to the soup and eating it that way. I left out the red pepper flakes as I'm not that into spice. The meat was only Ok as there was a lot of fat. I ate around it, but it was kind of gross at the amount of fat that was attached to the meat. I didn't put the tortilla chips into the soup. I tried one as the last bite of meal and ohhh it was spicy. It felt like it was covered in jalapeños. I check them out and it appears that there is some kind of spice attached to them. My husband had the French Connection A petite slice of our Famous French Toast served with whipped maple butter, two poached eggs and Applewood smoked bacon. He said the poached eggs were a bit plain. The French toast was superb. It is the famous secret recipe of custard soaked French bread topped with in-house whipped maple butter. I had a bite and it was so yummy.I could feel the custard. My husband commented that it wasn't too sweet which was good as he's not an overly sweet lover. I would order it another time for brunch. I wouldn't get poached eggs. I'd probably get fried eggs as I'm a fan of fried eggs. The ambiance was great. The interior was just lovely. So creatively decorated. Service was good even though they were busy. Our waitress came to check on us several times. Parking was tough. There wasn't any spaces in the lot so we parked on the street. All of the parking on the street right outside the parking lot was all taken so we parked on a side street that didn't have any restrictions on the weekend. Most streets were a no parking zone unless you have a permit any day of the week. We were here again Oct. 21, 2026 for dinner after a movie at Tower. We were quoted that wait time was 20 minutes and that was accurate. I like their wait app. You can watch yourself move up on the wait list and it also counts how long you've been waiting so you don't have to do them math.
